This is the limited edition "Starfox Super Weekend Competition" edition of the game.

Basically you take path 1 and see how high you score, while only having 4 minutes to complete the game.. (The time carries over! You don't get bonus time for killing enemies. So you have to dash alot!!)

It's pretty fun to compete for the highest scores. But .. the time limit usually winds up killing the player.

@Davtwan Actually, according to the Nintendo Power Starfox Comics, that's a sort of "utility belt", like Shinobi/Ninja spheres, containing knockout gas, explosives, and other items, jut in case Slippy gets into a sticky situation.
