Nice job, your bass sounds nice and meaty. How do you like those twin humbuckers? I owned a Carvin bass in the mid 90's - the action was so super low, my strings would click off the pick-ups. I play an aggressive slap and finger pick style - would that happen with your set-up? I'm seriously considering another Carvin with your p/u configuration.
Very good soloing man, but you probably should improve the technique of your right hand by striking the strings using, in addition to the index finger (that you really favor here), at least the middle finger and maybe the ring finger. I believe that with practice, you can do that up to even using your pinky (without indeed, excluding the thumb).
Carvin makes terrific basses and they are priced at only a fraction of some very expensive basses out there. Their piezo setting is a very good plus.
this model is a bunny brunel 76p. the BB76p is the signature bass.
