well done not giving her up, i was going to give my pony up at one time. she was ab absoloute brat. used to rear, nap, buck me off, bronc, bite, kick EVERYTHING.. now if you look on my vids you see how good she is.. in a matter of 3 months (: i even got told by mean people over internet that i was ruining her, but ive done far from that cos when i got her she couldnt even trot a full circle and now canters full 75cm show jumping courses and is jumping 3ft at home :) good luck for the future,

i remember once when my mare was being SO naughty. She was refusing every jump i pointed her at, she was nipping at me, and all that other mare stuff. the worst part was, at one point when she refused the jump, i got so frustrated that i whacked her with the crop really hard, i immediately felt SO AWFUL that i actually started to cry, i dismounted and gave her a HUGE hug! im glad no1 was there to see it!mares are mares but i love em anyway!
ive just got a new 4yo mare too and on some of the bad days i came so close to wanting to sell her, and other people said i should, but im so glad i kept going and i bet you are too! You have made such amazing progress! XX
Your dedication will get you through the tough times. :) I know how you feel. For the first month and a bit that I had Saffy I was constantly told we would have to sell her if things didn't get better and it was so frustrating. You and Janey have achieved so much already and you know you are both capable of achieving what ever you want to. :) As hard as it is try not to let the bad times knock you back. Ly xxxx

She does not do Mounting blocks, and emergancy halts do not work with her because she head shakes. But alike you, i kow we will get there one day!!! So keep fighting, a good example of this is Sunbeam Lacy...
