  • 0:37 - Charles Buchinsky = Charles Bronson ..... he was 32 ....

  • this was re-released in 1970s.

  • that opening music is eerie and awesome at the same time.

  • @1969scarlet I remember that, too. I went with my sister & we were scared out of our wits. The 3-D version was chilling!!!! It was just on TCM Sat morning. To this day, I can't watch it alone.

  • I watched this when I was a little kid and had nightmares for years!!!!

  • @XPuppetMasterFanX but not in 1953 though *snorts* LOL....on tv much later on lol haha.

  • @XPuppetMasterFanX Me too. The part where he chases her through the streets is still scary!

  • When I first saw this movie, I was able to guess right off the bat that the killer and the sculptor were one and the same, based on these two things: the killer had a mess of burn scars, and his first victim was the guy who torched his first museum. Of course, I will admit that I was thrown off for a while when the sculptor showed up in a wheelchair.

  • @Nintendoman01 My first clue was that the sculptor was played by Vincent fargin' Price....

  • @tjhoenecke Well, there's that.

  • @Nintendoman01

The only way I knew was when I saw a comical review of the 2005 remake (before seeing the 1953 version) and during the review, it was compared to the 1953 version and during the comparisons it involved spoilers including that detail.

  • that's cool...
