  • 1998-2005 was the best years of raw

  • raw>smackdown always been and always will be

  • 94-2007

  • This took place on my 14th birthday.

  • If Triple H went back to WCW during the Monday night wars he would be another lackey for the nWo or WCW TV champion. Rotting at the mid card level

  • It's honestly sad to see flair in the state he is in at tna his turkey neck is getting worse.

  • My birthday! :D

  • Comment removed

  • triple h was the best world heavyweight champion in the wwe.

  • Funny, because this looks a lot like being giving a belt, Flair:

Search "Ric Flair Wins 16th World Title" on YouTube.

  • This Segment is on My Birthday

  • its a shame flair was only a wwf/wwe champ only twice, like hogan he shoulda been champ at least 1 more tyme

  • WWF WCW > WWE World Heavyweight Champion

  • 2002-2005 was best for RAW. who else agrees??

  • @619wwebmw02

I say 1998 to 2000 was the best era of RAW.

  • @AttitudeClassics316 1996 to 1997 was the best! :D

  • @StraightEdgeStunner

I will agree that 96 and 97 are great, too.

They both deserve as much praise as the AE.

  • @AttitudeClassics316 Agreed. It was a time when both shows got treated equally and characters were as good as the 96-97 era. Now Smackdown just plays second banana and serves no purpose except to build up mid-carders who couldn't cut it on RAW.

  • I would say triple h had 2 eras in Late 1999 to 2000 and 2002 to 2005

  • First thing in this video made me smile. Eric Bischoff!!!!

  • LOL NO DUH HES WAS, A HEEL HE KNOCKED FLAIR THE FUCK OUT!

  • Why did they even make the WWE title exclusive to Smackdown anyway? It just doesn't make sense to put your most important title on the show that will always be the least popular out of the two. The World Heavyweight Championship was the secondary title and it belonged on Smackdown from the start.

  • @TheIrishEnigma well in my opinion smackdown was the better show at that time

  • @TheIrishEnigma

Actually, at the time, as SmackDown was on network television, I believe SmackDown usually had higher ratings than Raw.

  • @TheIrishEnigma Because it wasn't the most important title?

  • so after this their was no more undisputed tittle and the undisputed tittle went back to being wwe tittle?

  • @printerxx619

    Yeah.

  • Ahhh, back in time, when Eric Bischoff still looked young and looked handsome, but the pass of years...his hair is white and he hasn't much hair as he used to have =(

  • @RobertoHomerDelgado He only dyed his hair. It was always grey.

  • And years after that, he receives a vote of no confidence from the wwe roster...that's bad =(

  • Back then, this was absolutely the best choice that the WWE could've made at this point. Triple H was the Number 1 guy in the WWE after Rock went to make movies. Very few (very few) can try and compare to the Heat that Triple H would generate as a Heel. Triple H definitely hit a stride that he would ride throughout the Evolution years as THE most despised Bad Guy.

  • Scott Steiner was a bust, Booker T should been World Champion sooner than later only he had to be King Booker, Kevin Nash was not in good shape to carry the belt on a nightly basis, Goldberg was lucky to beat the Game. Triple H feuded with former WCW Wrestlers in 2003 which was a success.

  • the funny part is... Eric Bischoff and others high up let triple h go in the the mid 90s and after he was let go he went to WWF and by 1999 he was world champ! Bischoff knows shit on talent; he let the 2 biggest names go Steve Austin and THE GAMe!

  • triple h era 2002-2005

  • why did the world championship look way bigger because it looks kids size belt now how come it looks so tiny on mark henry and look how big it was there someone answer this question?

  • was triple h being boo or cheer cuz der duing both

  • This single incident cause what we call "X-Pac heat". I mean this incident made Triple H the most hated man in the entire WWE.

  • @RumbleHD backstage, yes but to the fans no because he wasn't THAT prick till 2003 when he was hogging the spotlight and destorying everyone on raw.

  • @AttitudeClassics316 that shows how much of an ass he is...either that or he wants you to be mad at him lol

  • WCW had Triple H but they fired him...

  • WWE in 2002-2003 felt like WCW a bit. Bischoff, Goldberg, Nash, Hogan, Hall, Flair, Raw broadcasters table moving to the stage, Steiner, etc.

  • this was the night that hhh became heel

  • @dialgatemporal27

Actually, he turned heel right after

    Vengeance 2002 by pedigreeing HBK.

  • @dialgatemporal27 get ur shit right no it wasnt

  • I wish I could have been the one to present that belt to The Game, because at the time he said it, everything Bischoff said was true.

  • Triple h vs brock lesnar, wrestlemania 28 thumbs up if u would want this match to happen

  • Candidates to be the next world heavyweight champion within the next few months: Mark Henry, Wade Barrett, Daniel Bryan, Sheamus, Cody Rhodes, Booker T if he gets in the ring again, Ezekiel Jackson, Sin Cara. Henry would be a choice since he been in WWE for 15 years, Bryan would get the gold if they use him right, also Barrett could take it, but Sheamus would be the favorite to be world champion again.

  • @21richkid

Out of all the people you listed,

only Daniel Bryan has the talent worthy of

    being Heavyweight Champion.

Sin Cara is talented but will

probably never win the World Title.

And the other candidates just reinforce the fact that

Smackdown has a poor roster and the fact that

there is no reason to watch it at the moment.

  • @AttitudeClassics316 I respectfully disagree. Sheamus is a great superstar, hes not bad on the Mic and he has an intriguing ring style, he should have more title runs than Bryan for sure

  • @christiancage2008

He got pushed way too fast.

Recently, I have become more used to Sheamus,

but he's still an average wrestler IMHO.

I would not choose a Sheamus match

over a match with Chris Benoit or Kurt Angle.

  • @christiancage2008 100% agreed.... Sheamus will be a bigger draw due to better mic and overall entertainment skill.... and is great in ring for a big man... he most likely will be the guy to take Cena and Orton;s spot.. as the Top Guy... or be right up behind them for several years to come..

while bryan is just another INdy guy who WWE will most likely not Book right... BUT.. WWE did have him win MITB.. so they are doing ok with him.... so if he can sharpen his promos up then he is set.

  • @AttitudeClassics316 im sorry but WHAT!!@#.. How can u not See a Future World Champion in Wade Barrett? he is a great heel is good on mic... is very good in ring for a bigman.... and also Sheamus is Really good for a bigman is going over Big as a Face.. and has proved in the past he can be a Great Heel. so those Two are Destined IMHO... now sin cara... is agreed... the best he could be is a Mid carder.. but to say that "only Daniel Bryan has the talent worthy of

    being Heavyweight Champion ?

  • @AttitudeClassics316 lol it was mark henry

  • @21richkid

    Wow you're dumb.

  • the brand separation.....the worst move by wwe ever!!!!

  • @spiked200 why? it gave rise to new stars liek edge, eddie, benoit, orton, cena, batista, etc Wrestling is not based on Austin drinking beer and stunning the boss, it had gotten stale at this point, heidnt recieve as big a pop as he did in 1999. brand split also gave them less schdule, so more likely they wouldnt have taken as much roids, think about the well being of wrestler not yourself, You ppl would have whined and bitch about the same main eventers, so that's y they split them, more stars

  • Has Brock Lesnar ever had a match against Triple H in his time with the WWE?

  • Was this the beginning of the Reign of Terror?

  • I miss Eric Bischoff

  • @eliottiradord he's on TNA if you didn't know already

  • @FcukCensoredSht Thanks, I know, but i don´t like TNA, it is as crappy as it is the WWE nowdays, I only watch it because of Triple H and The Undertaker..

  • brock lesnar would destroy triple h tbh.

  • the funny part is triple h was in wcw before he went to wwf

  • Triple H did not want to wrestle Brock?

    Why?

    Who told you that?

  • Ric Flair, you got your 16th world title by... being giving the title. :P

  • They should have reintroduced the WCW title by putting it on FLAIR, Mr WCW. That would have been the intelligent, classy, respectful thing to do. Imagine Flair, the original and greatest WCW champion defending the WCW title belt on Raw? Then the titles lineage and reputation is retained. Triple H is the most boring piece of shit in the history of wrestling.

  • Comment removed

  • ok so triple h is the last to hold the wcw big gold but jericho was last to be crowned wcw champion, when does the wcw big gold get traded in for the v2 aka wwe logoed and revamped world title because in triple h's hands its still the same version from wcw

  • @MrTheman360 I know but this was horrible in terms of starting a new title.

  • this was bullshit i HATED THIS when it happened the belt should have been introduced with a tournament not as a hand out.

  • Wait. Was Triple H a face or heel by this point? I know he didn't have the title before he pedigreed Shawn before the DX faux-reunion.

  • @whatsittouboy

    He was clearly a heel.

  • @AttitudeClassics316 that guy was probably confused cuz triple h did get a pretty big pop

  • @AttitudeClassics316 Idk he got a pretty good cheer from the crowd...or maybe this was his heel turn...but I'm probably wrong.

  • @AttitudeClassics316 it seems like hes a tweener here

  • @whatsittouboy that was at Vengeance 2002 this was just after Summerslam 2002

  • @whatsittouboy this was after summerslam, when he almost crippled shawn michaels, so he was a major heel

  • i have to admit thats the best looking belt i ever seen

  • @dirtytrillionaire the WWF attitude belt was always my favourite one... :D

  • Presented the undisputed title and the Gold one lucky guy and he is married to steph

  • eric bischoff was the best gm raw ever had

  • Triple H a bit reminds me of Steven Seagal

  • its not a coincidence that HHH dominated these years when Rock and Austin runs were over ;)

  • well if it isnt Ray Bradstone, the first WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

  • What happend to the origional strap

  • Cheers? What?

  • i love eric bischoff the way he is i knw all dat crap all say abt he sunk wcw but 2 me how he is i like eric bischoff

  • i really didnt blame triple h for not job to lensar that year cause lensar was already THE MAN when went undefeated, became king of the ring, beat hogan ass on smackdown, beat the rock to become wwe champion and beat undertaker at no mercy so there was nothing that lensar needs to prove and lensar didnt even stay in wwe that long anyway.

  • whats with hhh,s head is that a mole or somthing

  • So in late 2002 HHH was holding the WCW title!

  • That WCW belt looks good on Triple H. And kudos to him and the Undertaker for not wanting to job to that piece of crap Lesnar.

  • @m1k38706 sry buddy...u r wrong.lesnar wasnt a piece of crap.he was the only reason i watched smackdown. his in ring skills were impactful..not like botchista..similar built but just crap...

  • @monkey1234512345 hey, what's up brock?

  • @monkey1234512345 Don't ask. It's an 11-year-old with a computer that just learned 'bad words'... never a good combination.

  • @m1k38706 hehe agreed....probably a fat troll living in his grandma's basement hurling his retarded opinions at evryone :)

  • @m1k38706 you dumbfuck, the taker not only jobbed to lesnar, but jobbed to his ass hardcore IN HIS OWN HELL IN A CELL MATCH! suck on a tailpipe, retard

  • @benismyusername Funny that you should call anyone a dumbfuck. Guess you didn't bother to read this part, you fucking dipshit... "For not wanting to."

  • @m1k38706 is that why you deleted your own comment? may your dad assrape you

  • @m1k38706 Undertaker ended up jobbin to Lesnar in the Hell in A Cell. Everybody besides Triple H put Lesnar over back then

  • @m1k38706 hhh yes but what about taker, UNFORGIVEN 2002 and NO MERCY 2002, well actually UNFORGIVEN was a setup match for NO MERCY, but taker jobbed to lesnar then

  • @MJWP2334 Again, I said "not wanting to." He ended up doing it, anyway. I'm glad HHH didn't.

  • @m1k38706 oh ok lmfao my bad man

  • @m1k38706 Undertaker lost to Lesnar

  • @m1k38706 taker lost to lesnar

  • @m1k38706 EVERYONE who faced lesnar when he was unified champion pretty much had to job, lesnar is a deuce even on ufc hes a deuche he didnt touch gloves with a few people before the bouts, which is completely disrespectful and on wwe he even made HULK HOGAN job to him, HULK HOGAN DONT JOB TO NO ONE!

  • @deathkinggodfather=Shut up bitch

  • @m1k38706 wcw had that title before wwe and since in 2001 wcw ended mr mr. mcmahon copied off of the tile and called it the world heavywehight championship

  • @svrmanrawnxt if that's a copy u are a jackass ,cuz wwe own the rights of so called wcw.....

  • @mnsymsilen Very true. This is not a copy but an updated version of the original WCW title that NOW sports the WWE logo on it but still says "World Heavyweight Champion" on it. In truth, it is really the "WWE World Heavyweight Championship" but the WWE isn't said in order to distinguish it from the WWE Championship.

  • @m1k38706 um taker lost to lesnar clean a few times and hhh lost that triple threat at global warning

  • @hbk2hhh Read it carefully, or read my reply to another poster re: this same subject earlier.

  • @m1k38706 i did read it carefully the only i can take from it that i might be wrong is that i added a triple threat?

  • @m1k38706 Techinically it was the NWA World Heavy Weight Championship first

  • @m1k38706 But didn't Taker job to Lesner a few times?

  • @m1k38706 The old WCW belt just looked good period.

  • @m1k38706

    Undertaker did job to Lesnar.

  • how awesome would it have been to see HHH vs. Brock Lesnar during this time?!?!?! thumbs up if u agree with me!

  • @TZPEAZOA

Agreed, but Triple H did not want to job to

Brock Lesnar, and that is why they became

    two separate heavyweight titles.

  • @AttitudeClassics316 ya he just wanted to become world champion

  • @AttitudeClassics316 You know what? As long as Triple H, Vince and Stephanie are in the WWE, it's gonna continue to suffer. TNA is being reborn this Thursday, now WWE needs to do the same......but if Vince doesn't get the DAMN MONEY SIGNS OUT OF HIS HEAD AND GET SOME SENSE INTO IT, the WWE as we know it is gonna die soon.

  • @AttitudeClassics316 Thats bullshit.Triple H jobbed to everyone as heel,he would have jobbed to Lesnar aswell.Vince wanted 2 belts again thats all

  • @TZPEAZOA it was a PPV in Australia (i think) that was called WWE World Invasion, search it

  • @TZPEAZOA it was a PPV in Australia (i think) that was called WWE World Invasion, search it, the main event was TRIPLE H VS THE ROCK VS BROCK LESNAR

  • @nocopienminombre

It was called WWE Global Warning Tour.

The Rock won the triple threat match.

This was before Brock Lesnar became

    Undisputed Heavyweight Champion.

  • @nocopienminombre it was globle world tour

  • @TZPEAZOA they was in a match (HHH vs Brock vs Rock) . but i agree they should've had a match .

you could always make them fight on SYM or HCTP .

  • @ElWiiTard MIZ is a joke as champ just like Sheamus.

  • wwe was awesome threw 1999-2008 to me now it sucks but it looks to me like its strating to get good again but these wwe days will beat todays wwe anyday

  • the whole point was for the rest of the raw roster to hate hhh because he was given the title so shut up

  • like him or hate him bischoff made raw very very entertaining and fun to watch now its fuckin anonymous

  • @uguess94 Yeah we need Eric back.

  • The Big Gold Belt>>>

  • Now I am HHH fan, but this is bullshit. Giving the belt to HHH, WTF! Have a RAW tournament or PPV main event or something if HHH's going to get it, fine, have him win it in a believeable way instead of giving it to him. Do a battle royal like on Smackdown when Batista gave up the belt for injuries and Angle won the battle royal and became World Champ. But this here is ajoke.

  • @videozfann

    My thoughts exactly.

  • @AttitudeClassics316 thanks and thanks for this post which i had heard about but never seen until now.

  • @videozfann

    no problem. :)

  • Comment removed

  • @videozfann This is a standard way of turning someone heel, it's scripted so that it makes HHH look like an undiserving champion.

  • @ThaOneChrisJONES HHH does deserve the title though heel or face and he was already heel at the time.

There were better ways for him to get the belt like i mentioned in previous comments, scripted or otherwise.

  • @videozfann I know, Im just saying that this was basically the route they took. Either way, it was successful at helping his heel'ness.

  • @ThaOneChrisJONES If I remember correctly he held the belt for almost a year after this point losing it to Goldberg in 2003 and then winning it back from Goldberg in a triple threat match with Kane at Armageddon 2003. What title reign number was it at this point cause I know he is 13 time champion?

  • @videozfann

This was his 6th reign as Heavyweight Champion.

He held the title until the 1st EC match in 2002.

Then he reclaimed from HBK almost 3 weeks later.

Triple H then spent the next 4 months as

heavyweight champion, before Goldberg ended title reign 7.

  • @videozfann

    *Next 9 months as champ.

  • @AttitudeClassics316 I thought he lost the title to Goldberg in Sept. 2003, a year later? Also what title reign number was this in 2002 when he was given the belt?

  • @videozfann

He did, but this was title reign 6 when he was given the belt.

Number 6 lasted from Sept. 2002 thru Nov. 2002

His 7th title reign was from Dec. 2002 thru Sept. 2003,

    which Goldberg ended.

  • @AttitudeClassics316 Oh yeah, ok, now I remember when you said title reign 6 ended in Nov. 2002. It was to HBK at first elimination chamber Survivor Series right? Then HHH won it back (title 7) at 3 Stages Of Hell Armageddon 2002? from HBK and kept it until Unforgiven 2003 and losing to Goldberg. Then HHH won #9 title at Armageddon 2003 in the triple threat with Kane and Goldberg right? Then kept it until WM 20 and losing it to Benoit.

  • @videozfann

That was exactly what happened. :)

  • @AttitudeClassics316 Thanks! Took a bit but it came back to me. LOL!

  • @videozfann Around his 10th title I think ?

  • @ThaOneChrisJONES 6th, LOL! Already found out!

  • man fuck all of yall triple h and shawn micheals are the greatest of all time

im fucking tired of cena's bullshtie and edge

we need to get rid of both of them

wwe needs to create more contreversy make cena a heel and i will learn more respect for him

and edge needs to stop being smack downs triple h

  • It's Funny how back in 1991 Ric Flair Debuted with The World Heavyweight Championship and declared himself as The Real World Champion. But in 2001 when WCW went bankrupt and out of business, WWE used The World Heavyweight Championship as their title and still til this day i find it funny. LOL.

  • Huh...funny, wasn't Triple H part of WCW years ago and Eric basically fired him

  • This was bullshit. People complain about the Miz, but this..

  • @mmscott9 The Game being handed the World title is way more credible than the Miz "winning" it. At this point, HHH was a 5-time former world champion and a leader of the attitude era, not an annoying ass frat boy from mtv with a 6th graders haircut.

  • @SitarHero8988

Agreed, but to be fair, its the fault of the writers that

The Miz is not considered a credible heavyweight champion.

  • @SitarHero8988 I agree. Though it was hypocritical when he said WCW made the title a joke, but that was probably the point

  • Cena know that he doesn't belong in the same ring with guys like Rock, Austin etc, Cena knows that he can't hang with guys like Austin and Rock in this ring, as a matter of fact Cena doesn't even belong speaking their names. And the fact is that the second Austin and Rock left WWE to go into acting respectively. WWE knew their days of Cena maintaining entertainment were numbered so kiddy Cena fans took their Cena merchandise and ran with their tail between their legs.

  • @kotulakj2 LMFAO im not a cena fan at all but stfu man. suck the rock and stone colds dicks more. cena is just as big just as fast as rock in the ring and austin was never a great wrestler he was just a great character and had pretty much the best finisher in history so it didnt matter that all he did was punch kick and basic moves. you dont like cenas character thats fine i agree rock and austin had wayyyyy better characters but be real cena in his prime would have a shot vs either of them.

  • triple h is the 1st world heavyweight champion in history (2002-present)not talking about the nwa/wcw world title

  • Triple H with the WCW belt was very odd indeed.

  • Thank you for putting this up.

  • ok triple hhh does have an ego problem but edge and cena also were in the title picture from 05-09 and at least hhh and EDGE can ACTUALLY WRESTLE

  • @MrWrestlingfan342

i never had a problem with edge

hhh is great in the ring, i just hate his ego

and simply, i fucking hate john cena

  • @AttitudeClassics316

Tough because he's gonna be in the wwe for a long time winning top titles and in the process becoming a 20 time world champi
