Trust me dude, I definately suck at life. I am a guy, and I get hit on my guys who overcharge me for haircuts, not girls. I drive 1 hr to class everyday, only to hit deers on the way home. I'm probably not going to get into pharmacy school because my grades where they should. I pretty much would have 12 people show up if I suddenly fell off a cliff tomorrow, If there were an award for the biggest loser (not the fatty show) in the world, I would be very competitive and probably win.
I feel the same way! I did something to a friend that I can never forgive myself for, I deserve to suffer, please tell me how terrible I am! I suck at life and deserve to told how bad I am....

I found when I was working,I was a much more vibrant person,because I had to be for the social interactions needed!Whether it's real or you're just performing the social arts,being around people relieves us of the time on our hands,that when alone can engulf us with self doubt.A job,volunteer,just a regular walk but getting out of the house really helps.I have to force myself the longer I dont do it.. helps.You'll be fine John this stuff is cyclical it will pass.'Cause you care so,you wonder! :)
I might say, try defining what not sucking at life would look like to you.
I read or heard that somewhere. In doing your art (your life) you must define your criteria for being done or finished with a piece or else it can go on forever, ever changing. In the case of your life,of course you want it to go on forever, but maybe you could define what success looks like to you,so that you have something you are working towards, so that you can set goals. Thats the fun part, living for a reason!
I agree with Lauren, you are a decent person. A few years ago i thought about your questions and found it was worse to have too much time on my hand. May i suggest a casual / part time job? It increase your interactions with a variety of people who can provide different perspectives to your situation and take your mind off from overthinking. It provides funding to support your lifestyle when you DO know what you want yet you still have flexibility to test/trial your ideas? i'll stay quiet now
