Thanks alot man, my "steady pulse" double bass is my signature beat,

check out Cozy Powell, that's my best example of the "bounce" or "pulse"

Rage against the machine, another example, just watch the crowd bounce.

That is the Drummer.

At least that's what I think, but i could be wrong.

the steady pulse does sound great in a song, but idk necessarily about a solo. think it's an atmosphere thing :P

great solo save a few.

like said, keep the double bass guessing. not just the same over and over. gets boring

toms sound amazing, but integrating a couple snare fills in there between beats can be incredible if done right, which you definitely can, but the one seemed prolonged.

last thing is that when you were only going top 2 toms and double bass really hard, sounded tight, but if you worked the cymbals pretty hard in there, it'd be a huge difference of sound.
