If only the later Vanderbilts know how to handle the old money that has been given to them for ages for sure until now they will rise, but sadly they abused it and didn't manage it very well. They are considered lucky for such a beautiful mansion like the Biltmore Mansion and an incredible fortune.
I love Biltmore Estate. I could just get lost in all of the beauty. I hop to go there again soon. I love the way you captured the elegance and added all of the changing colors.
Simply beautiful! Ah, Life before INCOME (UGH) TAXES!!! I am going there with my brother, on the 14th of April, this year. I am looking forward to it! We plan to eat at the McDonald's, that is like a fancy restaurant. Check it out! They bring your food to ya, (But, No tipping, if you please)
I don't know where you got that, but it's not very accurate.
By all historical accounts, the Vanderbilts were pretty happy, and apparently treated their staff and the town very well.
There are many written accounts, both first-hand, and from the descendants of staff, of kindnesses to them - they were pretty well liked by the people who worked for them. Very rare in that day and age.
i didnt say anything about there staff! im sure they were treated great! i was talking about the later vandebilts! google gloria vanderbilt and get back to me!
Certainly,,, but in keeping in context with the vid, which was not about the Later Vanderbilts, but George Washington Vanderbilt, one could only assume you were referring to the video on which you commented - because you really didn't clarify. Just sayin.
