The truck seemed to be going helluva fast in the movie but the commentary said both vehicles were POS! Neither was fast at all and if one was running the other would break down.

@KaciiKawaii The road is located in Dunnellon, Florida. 180th avenue rd 34431. The only thing on that road is a high school, an elementary school and the entrance to a state park. The road is about 7 miles long with nothing but fields. I went to the high school on that road and nothing ever happens in that town so people still talk about it to this day.

Yeah unfortunately the road is narrow and has a SPEED-LIMIT. Thus you'll probably crash if you "smoke him". Secondly, I doubt he's even trying. I mean, he did get them in the end? He knew he'd get them. He didn't need to speed.

This is actually two films in one. The suspense and chill of not knowing what is the Creeper then the downhill momentum of finding out it's just a winged demon. Jeepers Creepers 2 is "better" in that the whole movie flows. The first half of part 1 is unbeatable, though.

@ruffrida100 LOL That truck's packin a Supercharged V8. A little italian sports car would definitely beat that heavy thing, but you wouldn't smoke him. He wouldn't pass you, but he'd be riding your bumper the whole way.
