The only not-awesome thing about this game is that you have to make a modern dual core CPU squeal to slow it down enough. I had to run two slowdown programs side by side to be able to ride Twon-Has, man.
They went bankrupt, there sposed to be a sequal already. Side note, this game (made in 1999) used a lot of the 'next gen' graphics features you see in games, like parallax mapping, only it was all software and rendered on the cpu. No video card required.
Makes you wonder what graphics devs have been doing these last 9 years :/
Voxels make my eyes hurt. Perhaps it doesn't look much worse than other games, but Unreal Tournament and Quake 3 for example look much better, because they only incorporate polygons (AFAIK)
ok i can understand that but it is also a catch 22 voxels are still inferior to polygons and models in IQ but only because they are the dominant and therefore voxels have not had the amount of people working on them in order to learn new ways of creating them at higher resolutions and faster speeds. While AA methods would be made obsolete, if voxels could be made at sizes equal to a pixel then it would actually benefit us better because a lot of techniques used to create images now would be auto
need a new stund double (:

The game is sooooo good that even the "outtakes" are nice.
It shows how much the developers liked what they've made.
In every site site about this game I see people ask for a sequel. Someday the producers will have to make it somehow!
