You know, when I heard the last few bangs on the door, and Herry crashed through it, knocking it down, that's when I was like, "Holy crap!" 'Cause that made me jump!
That's true. Herry must've been extremely anxious to play with Farley. If that was true, then I guess Herry should've asked Farley that when he broke down the door and came inside. All Herry was doing was holding Farley's arms from behind him. (Maybe the reason why Herry didn't saying anything to Farley when he was talking is because, he probably didn't want to interupt Farley when he was talking to the audience which is why he didn't ask him if he wanted to play).
You're right "my dollies and me" sounds like a funny line. Maybe one of the dollies that Herry was talking about was his doll "Hercules." (Hercules has been in some skits with Herry).
I know in another skit, Herry had a toy ball which he left alone, and Ernie found it where Herry kept interogating in an angry way to Ernie what he knows about the ball. At the end when Herry said that it was his ball, Ernie ran away (just like Farley here) where he wanted to play catch with Ernie.
Farley's cutout shape in the wall is what used to scare me.

This goes to show that no matter how scary someone looks, he can actually be quite harmless and nothing to be afraid of.

It wasn't so much the loud pounding at the door that scared me as a kid, but the way they did the Farley-shaped hole in the wall.

This was scary, but not scary enough to make me run out of the room. The Crack Master on the other hand....

I'm a huge fan of Jerry Nelson. I like him as Robin the Frog and Gobo from Fraggle Rock.

Notable fact: Both Farley and Harry Monster are both potrayed by Jerry Nelson, who also potrays Count von Count.

Lol. I think Herry was knocking louder, is because Farley, lets face it, took too dang long to answer the door!

At first Herry knocks gently, but then makes rough scary knocks. He must really wanted to play with Farley.

I remember this from the early 70's. A real lost treasure indeed!
Pretty scary skit for little children.
Hilarious line, "...my dollies and me!"
Farley's mom will be upset when she gets back from Aunt Mildred's and sees the front door and the wall!
And Herry wiping his nose at the very end? Heh, they just don't make em' like this any more!

I've seen this from a Season 13 episode. But the quality was bad and there were several dropouts during the clip. Nice to see this in good quality!
