My family is very artistic, my uncle e.g. is a very good artist. But it is all about training - as in every area of something you want to achieve - if you do it a lot of times, it will get better. It just needs time and passion, I know many people who told me that they sucked in drawing, but they didn't give up, and already after one year they saw a difference.

So - go for it!
