I have the DVD of this prod and I have to say Keenlyside was the best singer/actor with Pamina, the Queen, the 3 ladies and Monostatos. The rest could be better!

this is so sweet, it is incredible how he can play such different characters like papageno or hamlet or don giovanni. but he sings so beautifully everywhere and (may be not only) for an opera singer he is such an amazing actor. Comedian too:-)))

Wow! The first time i watched this version of the Opera, I actually thought he was German. He speaks (and sings) german very well! And I love his voice! :)
