You have to have quick fingers when you play piano, and stuff liek that, song songs are really fast. I take piano/Keyboard lessons every tuesday and I have to be quicker then what i am now , so I'm being taught lmao

why would u waste your money taking lessons? Theres hundreds of instruction videos on youtube for free, and you can also choose the music u want to learn. I played piano for 8 years and guitar for 3 and niether of them have i taken lessons for :) Use Youtube or tabs . Practise makes perfect.

I'm just going to put it out there that, in my experience, musicians who learn from music lessons tend to learn faster and become very good at playing the songs they're taught with good technique, while self-taught musicians gain more skills in composition and improv, and a more unique playing style. (I'm a self taught pianist, and I'm a music teacher, so I know both sides) It just depends what you're looking for in music :)

@Aluminumemu Agree your comment, I have also run across some who read music, but for some reason they can't play by ear even after playing for a long time. It's odd how that happens, don't really understand why, must be something in the way someone's mind accepts things as they learn. I'm self taught, play by ear, but when it comes to reading notes off a page, I just don't have the patience to learn sight reading. You make a good observation and a good point in your comment.

no mister , utube's lessons are all about jamming , To properly play an instrument u need to know it's little secrets and of course theory. Only some1 who's standing next to u , corrects ur mistakes and cheers u up can do that. Utube's lessons are kinda useless...

Practice and create Chill-Out music by recording that snake fulte sound and sampling it like Enigma does :-) If that sound is used right, you can make chilling music. :-)

Enigma uses a sampled shakuhachi flute, which is a little different than a regular wood or bamboo flute. But yes, VERY catching!
