That was beautiful, though I spotted a bit of self plagiarizing by Prokofiev. On minute 4:52 he plays a theme which is also found in the Alexander Nevsky Cantata (played by a girl). Still, gorgeous music.

@mrpossibilities yep, sounds like the field of the dead theme mixed with a motif from the symphony no. 2, prokofiev is always full of surprises

Beautiful.
Even though Bessmertnova is a fabulous dancer, I think she might be a bit old for the part of Anastasia.

@balletnut WELL SHE WAS MARRIED TO THE DIRECTOR AND DANCED WAY PAST HER PRIME BUT HEY THAT WAS THE RUSSIAN SYSTEM TO RESPECT THE DANCE STARS!
