Amazing job , but that´s not our mostly reality, is true about the poverity, but Belo Horizonte is one of the most richest citie of Brazil. Think that all metropoles around the word has theyr problems with drugs e poverity , and WE DON´T FEEL MARY JUANA SMELS WHEREVER ...

I have been to Brazil and worked in such Favelas. The first time I walked into the Favela I broke down and cried. The children are precious and just want to be loved. The violence is heartbreaking. One family invited me into their home and it was concrete floors and walls with bullet holes in them. Broke my heart, and it's still there. Some day I want to go back and continue to work with the ministry there.

Thank you for showing Belo Horizonte, the city of my heart. My husband & I lived there for 3.5 years in the 80's (plus 6 months in Sao Paulo) & I've never forgotten its beautiful children, nor the terrible scourge of sin that blights it. Sadly, we lost our residence visas & had to leave. However, we took with us much more than memories: our daughter, whom we adopted there.

I used to evangelize in the favelas too. The children were so openhearted! Please pray for Brazil, for Belo, for the kids!
