@rachaelmatt I don't want to sound greedy, but I was actually unlucky on this day because if memory serves me right, all 3 were due in, only one was delayed I think around India due to heavy rains, and therefore it didn't come in, or arrived after dark. Great video as always. Not sure if anyone else noticed, but when the 1st British Airways World Cargo 748F landed, only the inboard takeoff/landing lights were illuminated. Not sure if that was pilot error. Usually for 747s, both inboard/outboard landing lights are used.
@speedbrds1 A very technical observation there speedbrds1 re: #Boeing747-8 at #STN_Airport. My knowledge doesn't extend that deeply so I hope others are able to comment. I do appreciate you taking time to watch the video and post your thoughts as well.
Nice smooth camerawork banana!!! Those 7478's of BA sometimes take the approach to Stansted directly over the top of Heathrow . Some of the spotters just sit there on a clear day with flightradar24 on and clean up on the Stansted arrivals without ever leaving LHR!!! I saw one of the 748's on approach the other day at about 13,000 - incredible sight!!! I'll try and shoot one from Heathrow at that level and post it for you to see!!! Keep up your great Stansted work

@A190Simulations I guess you watched the video that far in to see that yes it does have a 1.18 intro. That's my style of editing, the intro sequences allow for a certain degree of creativity, in addition I can often use snipets of footage that would not warrant full sequences. I get the impression this is not to your liking, so apologise for that. All of my videos follow a similar style, I hope that will avoid any further disappointment, thanks for taking time to share your comment. Best wishes.

@PlaneStationHD I know, finally we have something new and interesting at Stansted... alas as with everything the novelty factor will probably wear off, however it is exciting to think that #STN_Airport had the first #747-8 aircraft in commercial use and based at a UK airport. It's been a long time since there was anything new and exciting about Stansted.. could this be the start of an interesting year?
