You know what I find both amusing and sad at the same time is all these deadheads crying in their beer over a stupid ending theme. "Oh boo hoo! My life has no meaning because I can't listen to the captain planet end credits." Personally there's nothing special to those end credits, the tune is nethier catchy nor memorible, and the rap is annoying and forced and it doesn't even make use of a full orchestra. So kids GET OVER IT!

I used to watch this when i was 6, haven't watched it ever since it ended, i'm 19 now and I still remember the tune and some of the words. If that's not catchy, I don't know what is. Kids don't care if they make use of a full orchestra! unless you were some over-matured child who over-analyzed things, which ruins the whole point of "being a kid", then I feel sorry for you.

@nktali I critcize those who 'go off their nut' over something as piddling as a closing theme. Now, some of my earliest memories of shows like GI Joe and the Transformers was the music, such as the closing theme to the first GI Joe mini series which made use of brass instruments and a brief piccolo solo and both shows made use of a full orchestra and I remember that fondly.
