Ok. A lot of people have been having issues with uploading the texture. All you have to do is drag and drop the texture file into sculptypaint. Then select to upload as a texture. This feature was added into the new version.
I have tried everything, but after making a texture in PS, all I have in the upper left corner of the Sculpty Paint UI are "save" options - sadly, there are no "load" options. I can certainly import this texture into Second Life, but it's a gamble whether it's going to be OK or not at 10L a pop. Anyone know how I can get the "Load" option up there?
I downloaded sculpty paint and I made a sculpture I saved it and when I Loaded it again It looked huge and completly different and I know it was the right sculpture because it is the only one I made and made and made trying to figure out how to fix it I can not. Please help me.
Thank you very much for this tutorial. I love it when tutorials rip through a ton of info. I can watch it 20 times if I miss something. Great! Full of good tips.
your mouse wasnt even on the god damend screen when you zzoomed in god damnit lol lets click on save texture.. then why are we looking at something completely differnet then where we are suppoed to be clicking. lets look outside the door "then why are you in the fucking closet" lol
yea tim figured out where it was 2 weeks ago on his own, no thanks to the person who was making the video. Fact of the matter stands, he said click on save texture, but was aiming the camera at something completely different while doing so and he should have been showing people where the save texture button was

ok 7 minutes and 37 seconds, where the hell are you clicking for save texture, i clicked all 3 of those and i didnt get a gad damned tga file i got obj and png. oyur mouse donset click on anything
So, I loved the tutorial, but one question... unless i missed this in another tutorial... Do you ahve to upload both the sculpty and the texture for the primative or does it save it with the texture on it...
Gimp is an open source image editor that is very comparable to Adobe Photoshop. Note the use of the word "comparable", because Photoshop is a way better program. However, Gimp is free. Totally free, and the software is available for every operating system (including Lynix). I think Mike has done tutorials on Gimp. Regardless, googling "Gimp" or "Gimp Image Editor" will help you find this wonderfully adequate Photoshop alternative.
And by "available for every operating system", I meant Windows... and only Windows. Sorry for the broken promises. Apparently I spoke too soon. But Gimp is pretty awesome, in its own way. Sadly, I'm not aware of any alternatives to Adobe's Photoshop for other operating systems.
huss huss but There's a crack for it you can sreach for it. But becareful manny are viruses.youl need to beawaer PS. is in GB rang no KB or any thing lower most liekly a virus.

You can scale the sculpt down to what you believe was its original size by using the scale 'x,y, and z' options in the stone tool. :)

The sculpt map is a separate file from the texture map, so you will need to upload two files.
