@BossBossly Well I don't think it's worth the price you paid. The artwork isn't very impressive. It's just a bunch of cardboard, paper and a coaster! Come on! I like your channel anyways, you have very good tastes and knowledge, except for this purchase... It's your right to enjoy it.
@harleyjamesg I actually got it in a trade so it didn't cost me anything. If I hadn't though I would have just picked up the regular edition, the Caveshop extras are just a neat bonus.
Your really going for 360 Cave goodies in a big way heh! And why not...Cave present there Ltd Editions beautifully, the artwork's gorgeous in my book. Another "Package Time" triumph mate, just love'em in all honesty. Would love to see these Cave 360 shmups hooked upto your cabs oneday...how cool will that look! :)
Man you pick up some high quality items. That MVS kit was georgeous i have an AES but seeing the boxes complete with the artwork is making me want an MVS machine instead.I have never seen anything quite like that 360 CAVE box set would it be rude to ask how much something like that was worth? :)
@darrenwalshsock Hey thanks! I started out with the AES and moved to MVS once the games I wanted started getting very expensive. Plus not all games were released on the AES so if you want all original carts and not conversions MVS is your only choice. That Akai Katana was only offered online through Caveshop and sold out very quickly. I believe Play Asia had some of them on release and they sold for $180, haven't seen any for sale since then though.
Awesom pickups as usual Boss, you still wear the pickups crown! I have been looking at that Mushi stick too. Love the Akai kit, that games is getting a PAL release soon YEAH! Great stuff man.
@futurematt5 Thanks Matt! The Mushi stick is very nice, especially if you swap out the buttons for Seimitsus. With an LS-32 already in there it becomes the perfect stick for shooters, and any other arcade style game you may want to play for that matter, and it's got Mushi art!
@ENGLANDTHEGREATEST I'm not a sealed game collector so they'll be opened and played but kept in top condition. I prefer to get games already opened since they're usually cheaper that way but I picked up the new 360 games I recently got in a trade.
@shenmueso Hey, thanks. If you're looking for a nice TV to play retro games on than CRT all the way. Sony made some of the finest sets out there and I like JVC too. If you're looking at picking up a consumer level TV Sony Wegas are awesome and people are practically giving them away these days. If you really want to go hardcore Sony PMV monitors that have RGB inputs are awesome, you'll just need to make or buy cables for the systems you want to use.
@BossBossly well yea i want to do it proper. .like the best possible set up for my consoles. doesnt matter if it costs a bit more, cos hopefully it will last lol
ive got a megacd 1 and megadrive 1, dreamcast and n64 as far as retro goes, and i just want somethin that all 3 will hook up to and be displayed in their best possible output. the n64 especially looks absolutely gash on my lovely sony 40 inch lcd ... sad face..
Awesome score bro! That complete kit is very nice! Game On!
