  • Dude, playing this piece with a broken finger licenses you to do whatever the hell you want with your tongue. Bravo!

  • I agree with other commenters that the tempo needs to be increased very little, if at all. When Horowitz played this it was electrifying, but more because of his incredible tonal control and rhythmic effects, less from speed.

    A very satisfying rendition!

  • OY VEY MARIA

  • This was orgasming!

  • wow impressive :)

  • Votre tempo et votre articulation sont très intéressants et on découvre un Prokofiev enfin joué comme un néo classique. J'ai beaucoup aimé.

  • Don't worry so much about your tongue habit. If it distracts you from playing, then I guess you should work on getting rid of it, but if it doesn't, don't worry about it. If the audience is too preoccupied with you instead of the music, they have problems.

    Excellent playing btw.

  • Where'd you go on your mission? Sounds nice.

  • Oregon.

  • Great Job! I am learning this too. Hey I am studying piano in Weber State...(if you know where that is.) I have friends in the piano program in BYU! I wonder if you know them

  • Really nice performance, and I have a lot to learn from you 'cause I am now learning this piece.

  • Great recording. I really like your interpretation and tempo, it's great to hear all the notes and the articulation that really needs to be shown.

  • this on the othe hand is extremely good :D

  • Bravo. Good tempo and very accurate !

  • Hey, This is a good effort and shows how well this works at a slower tempo - it does not need to be played at a breakneck speed to work. I would only make two suggestions - at the slower pace, the EVENNESS of the tempo is critical (Solokov has that) and watch the 7/8 - you are playing this as 14/8 - and at the slower tempo there is a real opportunity to catch the irregular rhythm (most pianists miss that in this piece) and that, combined with an even tempo, can result in a stunning rendition.

  • I believe that is because within two measures of 7/8 the piece requires you to accent some notes, making it sound like two measures are one, creating the 14/8 effect. I'll work on it though.

  • Very impressive performance - no need to make any of the apologies in your description. I can't imagine why someone so gifted has to lose access to his piano for two years but it is sad to hear. Anyway, nice playing.

  • sounds awesome, you're talented indeed

  • Wow ... beautiful phrasing .. I got the same as your habit, too. it's everytime i got fixated in the pieces. Music is a wonderful thing right ?

  • This is not superfast, but I really enjoyed it!

  • Very nice, I rather enjoyed the slower tempo. Somewhat makes a bit more sense to me now.
