So go do your maths homework,because Clio RS 2 Phase 1 is 166 bhp, called 172 which is 156 hp/ton, because its weight is 1060 kg.

Clio RS 2 Phase 2 is 176bhp called 182 which is 1090 kg and 161 hp/ton so....

The other thing is in what condition the Clio is... many people don''t know how to treat their cars...The Civic exhaust system isn't sounding quite stock also"even i am sure it is an aftermarket one ..just checkout the sound!.I cant hear the Clio at all! So moded Civic vs std Clio!

Im really not a fan of Hondas to be honest. I own a clio 172 and ye ye build quality is an issue but i definatly feel the clio is more fun to drive than a CTR. Top marks for the sound of that thing tho, its one of the best sounding exhausts ive heard!

M power engines are definatly legendary. Butin response to the video that type r sounds very nice! although after the first attempt was the clio really trying, the ctr seemed to pull away faster than in the first run.

I own a Honda. Vtec is fun. BUT...these two cars in the video should be more a less identical in terms of performance. See the official stats. Maybe the ctr in this vid has the advantage of starting in tec ( In the high rev range ) 3rd gear pull in the ctr is pretty damn impressive. Hope you all think this is an honest ( and correct ) evaluation...

vtec is the best naturally aspirated engine developed. it destoy's 2.0litre turbo's aswell. if the type r had a turbo it would be an animal. just appreciate the vtec for what it is, reliable and fast. once in the vtec it stay's in the vtec.

I'd rather have the VYEC for reliability but both of those cars are a bit gutless when it comes to mid range torque. The civic especially has to be treated roughly to get the best out of it. Whoever made the 'hillclimb' comment is absolutely spot on. My Gti-6 gave the older Type-R's a good run!

The Clio has nearly 30 hp less and it`s obvious that the the Civic was slightly modded. I know that the CTR doesn`t pull that hard on the Clio RS. Besides, the CTR is a bigger car than the Clio. It should be compared to the Megane 225 Trophy or F1 modell. Those are sick Renaults, they beat the shit out of even the new Civic Type R on the track. Just go and read.
