@kkaavvee The old singer (JP) left the band many years ago to form his own band , Charon. Charon disbanded this summer though :/ But JP and the new singer of Poisonblack (Ville Laihiala) are still friends as far as I know. He probably just wanted to leave the band for his own personal project. There should be a video in YouTube of a PB live performance from this year with the old singer actually.. :)

@orgasmicpotato Not the exact info. Charon existed years before VL has found Poisonblack. The fact is that touring and further work with Poisonblack would risk interfering with Charon stuff, and he had to decide. So he decided to left the project, and the guy who plays guitar here, aforementioned VL, decided to takeon singing duties.

the singer isn't Ville becouse it's Juha-Pekka Leppäluoto(also known as J.P or 'Jippe') who originaly sings in Charon and has a side project in Northern Kings. J.P was in Poisonblack before Charon, or betterly said, he joined it as a somekind of project. He sang along with Ville in a lot of Poisonblack songs. Respect,both Jippe and Ville are heck of artists. \m/
