Bravo Bravo very good loved it so if i may ask you how did you learn those songs ive been looking for sheet music and only found parabola i love all the tool songs
@andrewj8408 Hey, thank you very much :). Well, I started with tabs from Tooltabs dot net. Next is a mixture of watching live Tool footage found here on Youtube (very valuable), other people's covers (not all correct, like tabs), and my own ear. Hope this helps...good luck.
@mayopubesandwich Glad I could help with the playing. Sure, I like putting the songs out there to show that I can play them, and I also like to have a personal record on my channel of the songs that I have played. But guitar covers on YouTube should be foremost about helping people that learn by watching. I can't stand those covers that are dark or the people are standing in such a way that you can't see them...what's the point? Anyway, thanks again :).
@mayopubesandwich Ya, the tone...not only is Adam's playing style very unique, and of course the progressive/timing aspect, but the tone is near impossible to duplicate. Check out the guitar forums on the net and there have been many, many threads started by people chasing Adam's tone through the years. Even though most of his gear is known, his tone is a big mystery. My consensus, is that a lot of his tone comes from the way he plays, the rest is from gear and very unique/clever settings.
hey great job man, the new recording equipment sounds great! definitely your best sound quality yet, and yes it is nice to get a better look at your guitar in hd. What is something like that worth? I also hate the direct in approach, which by the way what kinda amp do you got? I had to laugh because i know what ya mean about your mouth moving, i have the same uncontrollable problem, whats up with that? never noticed till i recorded myself.... later
@TheMrjohhnyonthespot Hey thanks man. Ya, the mouth thing...people have been making fun of me my whole life for that. Can't help it, but it's still embarrassing. Weird how some people do it and some don't. PM sent :).

@mayopubesandwich The timing in every Tool song is a bitch :). Some worse than others...I have the hardest time with The Patient for some reason.

@TheGrapesSour Cool...you should put up some guitar covers. If they are anything like your bass work, they will be good :).
