  • Excessive heel is cool, but slow.

  • this ir wron the boat must sail on one pontoon with 30 knots of wind aprox.

  • Wow you guys are pushing that thing to the limit!, Good Shit. Wish my paper tiger went that hard!

  • my hat off to you.what a badd ride.awsome thanks for posting

  • what the f...ck is a ponton?

  • @sailin1934 the outer two hulls are called pontoons, or amas

  • two handed sailing? is there any other way? of you mean the pole thingys, call them pole thingys next time. less confuzin to mah brainz

  • @okboy100 two handed means two people on the boat, like singlehanded sailing means by yourself

  • @Slocketman oh lol thanks xD ive never sailed or gotten into sailing so... :P

  • the music? is enough to make a sailor puke!

  • A great boat for a disastrous prize.

  • Sweet!! I just bought myself one of these!!! Much smaller though, 17 feet long, found a used one for $3500 CDN. I can't wait to take it into the great lakes!!!

  • @ohsohighnow Great lakes? Why not The Atlantic Ocean? :P

  • Oi what's up with that music? That's how you ruin a good clip!

  • muito massa doido...aventura 100%

  • that would feel so awesome.

  • How much does one of those sell for?

  • i'd guess over 200k

  • i found the prices. here it is

    €152400 (approx: £112802 Sterling / $223773 US / $254418 AUS)*

    there is info about speed

    its a copy and paste

The SeaCart 30 is a carbon trimaran designed by Marc Lombard for one-design class racing, and is intended to reach speeds of 30 knots and more. The current [Oct. 2007] speed record on the boat is 27.4 knots, held by Patrice Vivient in France.

  • would a trimaran with a canting keel be more stable??

  • is that a serious question? do you know anything about boats?

  • what i meant was would it help when the yacht is reaching

  • Thats a fair enough question, not everyones an expert! Trimarans are kept upright by the fact they have have three hulls. The 'Keels' are daggerboards that keep the boat from drifting sideways on a course, or they are hydrofoils to make the boat 'fly'. Hope that helps.

  • what's the music ??

  • Impossible Train

    By Innocent Kru

  • what if it flips?

  • Ussually nothing happens. This is big, so you won't be able to get it right back with man-strenthg. But most probably nothing will break,

  • then youre lost ^^

  • Multihulls are even more stable when they are up side down ;->

When ya hear stories about multis flipping, it's `cause their crew survive. Ya don't hear so many disaster stories from the mono-maran folks `cause dead men tell no tales...

  • What a load of crap

  • @lockhughes just be sure and put a hatch on the bottom so you can get to the single malt while awaiting rescue

  • Yes Sir :)

The sense of relief/peace (after ensuring everybuddies OK) from the thrashing environment of beating the boat through wind and water, to resting on a huge raft... it's a bizarre feeling... But yah, gotta have yer survival plan mapped out. Always. Any boat.

  • it cant be ideal to sail with that much tilt

  • ideal for pointing hard upwind but not ideal for speed

  • not ideal but massively fun!!!!

  • We have a corsair trimaran, and have to say, this is rather impressive.. but i wonder how this thing handles rough weather..and really how transportable it is?

  • that gotta be the one of the coolest boats iv seen

  • Sweet! Anyone know what tune this is??

  • Comment removed

  • Yerh. Looks impressive, but probably go faster if sailed flatter. They usually do. Nice toss anyways.

  • get out on trapeze its really fun

  • at a boat with this size it wouldnt change anything

this boat weights probably a ton

just 180 hundred kilos are not gonna change much with the power of all that sailing area

  • I WANT THAT BOAT!!!!

  • Awesome video, the helmsman part is the best.

  • i think somone needs to learn how to use a trap... but nice vid i rate it 5 stars!

  • That's amazing. But one gust of wind...and that thing doesn't look like it'd be easy to pull back up...especially if it turtles. Still amazing though.

  • Trimarans are most stable when upside down...

there are techniques for righting one, but it ain't pretty.

  • it has a keel to prevent that.

  • trimarans dont have keels.... only daggerboards and centerboards. Righting one is about the hardest thing a sailor can attempt to undertake...

  • Man!!! I'm fouling in love for that boat!!

What is the maximum angle that she can get before capsize?

The wind appearance to be around 15 knots, I'm I right?

  • Nice work. Crankin' soundtrack :D

  • For a brand new sea cart 30 youre looking at 320 000 New Zealand dollars.

  • Christ, don't want to be takeing your hand off the mainsheet sailing at that angle do you.

  • cool boat,pumpin song

  • great tunes, awesome boat! how much does one pay for that model?

  • Bold announcement rsoppy - lets have a clash anytime :-)

May I ask 'rsoppy' when the dragonfly 35 is faster?

  • Cool Boat, Tunes ??

  • great boat i want one

but the dragonfly 35 is way faster

    crap song

  • dragonfly=daysailer

  • This is what happens when you loan your tri to a cat sailor for the day.

  • lol never thought of it that way lol go

  • I agree great looking piece of plastic however, tunes shite....

  • nice boat - crap tunes!

  • If I had the coin it would work for me. Thanks for posting.

  • Nice boat!
