  • since when did the midwest, become part of the east. fucktard

  • The selfish rant of an idiot. The Niger delta people are not Ibo neither are they biafrans. In the typical greedy igbo-man fashion. Okoroman seems to claim Niger-Delta as part of Biafra. does oil have anything to do with this? Me thinks so. lol

  • @manibaba manibaba i have a land in niger deltan and i inherited it from my uncles u are a fool am half delta igbo half igbo dont deceived urself we have alot in common with igbos dont talk for us when nigeria breaks up u will see who is who lol

  • @manibaba You are right, the Niger Delta people of so-called Nigeria are NOT Igbo. However, the Niger Delta people DO NOT want to be part of Nigeria anymore, FACT. Hopefully, these people suffering will stop when Nigeria break up.

  • "The YCE (Yoruba Council of Elders) should be the ones apologizing to us after their son; Olusegun Obasanjo wiped out Odi with innocent civilians and stole our commonwealth as Minister of Petroleum ... Is the OPC threatening to attack any Niger Deltan or particular state or tribe there? We have Itsekiris, Isokos, Urhobos, Ijaws, Ibibio, Igbos, Efiks, so who do they plan on attacking first?" - Jomo Gbomo [MEND Spokesperson] . Daily Sun Newspapers Wednesday July 22, 2009.

  • @Okoroman Thanks for the information. You are correct. As much as I don't want to look like one is attacking the Yoruba folks. I must say that, the Yorubas because of financial gred and religious faith club, they seem to be in bed with these evil Northern muslims. So, sooner or later, the Yorubas MUST decide which side of the fence they are on. For when the time for breakup comes, we are going to WIN this time.

  • You guys need to calm down really, ha. We are people before being Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, Ijaw et al even Black, white, red!!! Please for goodness sake cant we for once forcefully withdraw our mind and head from being controlled or manipulated by the devil. God brougthus together to form the Rep of Nigeria for a reason. The devil is testing the strenth of our brotherly love and we need not to blame it on any tribe. God bless Nigeria!!!

  • what happened in jos recently is very sad indeed may there soul rest in peace but at the same time middlebelts joined hausa fulanis to fight biafra middlebeltans were in power at the time and now what happened in jos in their own soil the same way they slauther biafrans mothers and children is happening to them now,i can see NEMESIS.......

  • Ikwere and Ijaw, the Ibo man says don't worry be happy. Fight your problems by yourselves

  • biafra exists in name only

  • @ATTAHJERRY Then don't be worried. Leave the name alone.

  • there will be no peace in naija not until we learn to live together as one,if we accept each other and forget the mistakes our elders has made in the past,we can move forward and do greater things in life. yoruba igbo hausa,we gonna come together as one

  • @cladower. Why does your type make senseless statements. living together in harmony has failed for 64 years and cost about 4 million lives. Who are the elders you refer to? Were the mobs across Nigeria that mass-murdered Ndigbo in 1966 elders? Can we say they never knew what motivated them? And please mass-murdering 100,000 people is not a mistake. Launching a genocidal aggression that cost 2 million lives is not a mistake. Ethnic hatred inNigeria is deep. Thats what you are unable to handle.

  • "The paradox of Biafra was that the Igbo themselves had originally championed the Nigerian nation more spiritedly than other Nigerians. One proof of this: the British had thrown more of them in jail for sedition than any others during the two decades or so of pre-independence agitation and troublemaking. So the Igbo were second to none on the nationalist front when the British finally conceded independence to Nigeria in 1960," -- chinua Achebe. Daily Independent News. Saturday January 30, 2010.

  • Okoro man fuck you

  • @malalawan why are you stressing yourself? lol be carefull before ur blood pressure rise beyond repair....

  • I wl kill you okoroman! Coward show your self to the public if the hausa fulani that you keep insulting have'nt kill you.

  • @malalawan. You uncircumcised idiot!!! Have you forgotten your lot? Can you challenge one thing Okoroman published about Hausa/fulani that is a misrepresentation? True to your moronic type, threats, violence and murder are your trademarks. Shut Up! And who have assured you you can kill him? You do not know what Okoroman is capable of if he meets your type and that is a mild advise. Be gone!

  • You fool Biafran7, Biafra? try it now why are you wasting time, then you would know how the hausa fulani armed forces will deal with you babarian carnivals

  • malalawan look at your stinking mouth like hausa fulani blah blah blah blah if they bring that shit down to biafran land u no what will happen? hav you hard abaout missle that got names writting on it,like me personally i will write all the saltan of sokoto medugri bauchi, niger kano kaduna including ur local iman in ur village will all have there name in my F16 JET TWISTING ARAOUND n the air each state i will drop one it so fast that all arewas towns and villages will be on flames big time....

  • @Malalawan. Am not interested in your empty internet threats. This is not mob-action lynching of women, children and individual-men. Can you state your opinion on any political, economic, historical, cultural, religious or social issues raised in these broadcasts? If thinking is difficult for you, it is not surprising that civilized behaviour is. Why claim the Nigerian army. Your fellow Nigerians now are even more convinced of your narcissism. Idiot. You are a curse to Africa and humanity.

  • It is now clear that hausa fukani are terrorists. malalawan you are a terrorist.

the hausa fulani are now terrorizing jos.

  • Yes of course, i am. We have'nt said we are not terorist even to the americans, what we said is that; it depends on how they define terrorist, is you the biafran monkeys that are afraid of america wallahi we are not. Let me tell you one thing that i think you never knew, muslims live under two conditional statements i.e " Dont oppress and do not be oppressed" that is why we are not cawords we fight oppression no matter what it may cause us, in afganistan, jos or Biafra that you always propagate.

  • Get your own muslim nation. Christians are not interested in your one Nigeria. If you truly love you Allah, you would want your Shariah nation, do you or not?

  • I think you need to build your church and start preaching to your christaian fellows, because i knew that gowon is more christain than you, and he fought the biafran war and kill over 500000 biafran christains. Obasanjo also formed the anti niger delta militancy force that kill over 200 militants b4 yar'adua the muslim come and save you. So even if you started it again is your christian brother janathon that will send the muslim forces and kill you again. dnt u c dat u ar just created 2 serve us

  • what good is and educated muslim other than a terrorist?

  • do you know that many Igbos are now in the US army? Gues what- Amrerica and Britain will choose sides next time around, for Igbos are the premier anti terrorists

  • @malalawan don't forget the civic war if not for British helped the nigeria even gowon was about live nigeria cos biafiar soldier closer to him if not of the british. go and read history not to talk about today hell will fall on u hausa people.

  • "But the whole problem(of resource control) that we are experiencing now could be traced to the "Land Use Decree," which was promulgated by (Olusegun) Obasanjo regime shortly after he succeeded Muritala... Obasanjo had the support from the north because they all knew that with the decree, the Federal Government owned everything and by that, they could all share from the resource of the nation at the center." --- David Akpode Ejoor, Ex-Gov. Mid-West. Sunday Punch Newspapers.

    July 3, 2005.

  • @Biafrans7 This guy is a loser

  • Awolowo dismantled fiscal federalism in 1968, and as the author of Gowon's economic policy from 1967 - 1970, he stripped the Southern Nationalities of the Niger Delta of their resource rights and control through the Dina Commission.

  • Does he have to be leprous?

  • "Igbo domination" is nothing but a corrupt and malicious label to cast reproach on an entire people for unjustifiable reasons. It is an ugly bid to vilify and criminalize culture, ancestry, identity and attainment.

  • "What the Niger Delta is saying is that ever since the independence of nigeria, you have not recognized their ownership of what is perhaps a prime national asset. There is no way anybody can deny that they haven't got rights over it." ------- Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu. Vanguard Newspapers. Saturday September 25, 2004.

  • "Awolowo is a devil and his policies led to the present problems that the people of Niger Delta are fighting.." ---- Asari Dokubo. Champion Newspapers. Tuesday March 22, 2005.

  • is Niger Delta Biafra now?. if the Niger deltan collude with Igbo to secced to Biafra, what is happening to them wpould be a child's to what greedy igbo people would do to them. read Elechi Amadi novel on Biafran war

  • Vincentajayi has laid his unsubstantiated claims devoid of historical or contemporary evidence. But what are the facts? - Awolowo dismantled fiscal federalism in 1968, and as the author of Gowon's economic policy from 1967 -1970, he stripped the Southern Nationalities of the Niger Delta of their resource control rights through the Dina Commission.

  • fuck u

  • these guys steady keep pushing us to the wall ,while we steady, ready keep the rexisting thru text writtings ,but while my finger is still moist ,sweating ,heat from the frustrations seems not to be recorgnized, one day i would not recornize peace no more.

  • what so important about been from nigeria,a country where every single phone call ever made is about problems, funerals, sorrows, poverty, prison, begging ,joblessness, hopelessness, homeless, bribery, brutality since i was in my mothers womb ,noting good about nigeria.

  • over-populated,too much unstable,no models,no native own inventated nigeria technology,no native nigeria thrive industries,no sensible logics, over rated -most dyfuctional highly inflation,

  • i swear ,i still have not found one nickle that will propel my energy to start having the urge and not even one pound of strenght left on my whole self to cherich nigeria.

  • stand up against the government and say enough, not fighting one another here!

  • Go and stand up against the government, and not come here to act as if you know what your problem is.

  • I'm a Nigerian first b4 i say Yoruba and if i were the president today, i would make sure dat all states control there resources, becos its pure logic why depend on one resource when we can all develop what we ve in our states? cocoa was what we depended on b4 why stop? we depend agriculture once why stop? i just think we have a bunch of fool leading us. Nigeria would be the best place if we all with common views (i am sure we'll be more than 50million people)

  • I am not Nigerian; I am Biafran! Nigeria is evil; Nigeria is wickedness withoug equal anywhere in the world.

  • "[I am not a Nigerian and God never created me a Nigerian, so if Nigeria is tensed up that is the business of Nigeria. I am an Ijaw man. That is where God created me. Ijaw nation was forcefully taken over by the British which eventually lumped it into an entity called Nigeria.]"

Asari Dokubo, Nigerian Tribune, August 17 2008.

  • waado well done youu talk well make egbesu bless us kiagbodo olomoro boy like me if money day i go send am give militants make they kill army

  • @Okoroman (GabriyahYsrayl)bro am having a little bit problem, trying to figure out how come about these countries of africa that have similar words in comon.. like BIAFRA, GAMBIA,ZAMBIA,NAMIBIA AND ETC.. NOTICE THE BIA,, AND BIA MEANS COME IN IBO LANGUAGE,,,DO YOU HAVE ANY CONTRIBUTIONS HERE?

  • The pity is for you and your useless country, the failed state that provides nothing for those it calls its citizens, but always sheds their blood. Should you not be ashamed of yourself, and you evil country, Nigeria?

  • A lot of hatred flowing around here i must say! i wonder how much progress we'd make if d anger is directed to our main problem. In abuja we corrupt politicans from all ethnic groups in nigeria, stealing and u guyz r here generalizing on past issues. 75% of yorubas, igbos, hausas, fulanis ijaws etc, are according stats are all leaving under $1 a day, instead of uniting to face d issues dat matter, you r here calling each other names and so on.

  • If there is fire, how do you stop it? You first remove the source of that fire. The problem is not the many politicians you see in abuja. Many of them are recruits of Hausa/Fulani oligarchy, and Yoruba. First move away from them, then you can address your problem.

  • A 2,565-mile "Trans-Sahara Gas Pipeline" is to be laid from Warri, across the country of Niger to El Kala and Beni Saf on Algeria's Mediterranean coast. This project involving NNPC, Algerian National oil and gas company, Sonatrach, and Russian gas company, Gazprom, is to supply Arab and European- world energy needs. Where n't people complaining about the pipeline from the Niger Delta to Kaduna?

  • It always anger me to see that for so long many nations have been doing so well for so long while other nations like Africa has been left behind to suffer. This evil that is behind all this will pay in the end. We are living in some crazy times, My prayer goes out to your nation. God bless you all..

  • The Ijaws and southerners should retaliate by killing the Hausas where ever they find them. That is the language the moslem president, soldiers and their military leaders will understand. Now all the southerners should lern to vote a southerner for president next time!!

  • Your Okoroman does not advocate the killing of people as your Okoroman is not willing to take a life. Biafrans are not interested in Nigerian census, elections etc. We are Biafrans, not Nigerians.

  • SHUT D FUCK UP!!! IF U DON'T KNOW WHAT U ARE TALKING ABOUT!!!

    FUCKING RETARDS DUMB ASS BIAFRA!!!!

  • @TheBashir85 He won't shut the fuck up. Its called free speech, you cretin. When will backward muslims like you realise that your so-called Nigeria will cease to exist soon when the Southerners eventually breakaway from the Northern part (full of uneducated backward savages).

  • Why did they use bombers and gun -boats that kill indiscriminately? If you are after Militants why not send your soldiers and police to carefully select out the so called Millitants from innocent people. The oil money was used to bild Abuja, islamist city overnight but the same money cannot be used to help the oil owners! The southerns should unite and prepare gradually for war and liberation even if the preparations take decades. They must prepare!!

  • If this report is true, then this is absolutely genocide. This same Army, gave up Bakassi...backing away fromconfrontation with Cameroun, a country of 16 million people. This Army generals should be tried for genocide, Yar' Adua, if he abetted this murderous rampage should be tried.

    This is certainly unbelievable.

  • Wouldn't been the first time.

  • why we african never lean? we kill each other because we want to make europeans and americans rich and so that we can get rich quick at the expense of poor people...why, why why????War!!! they bring war in africa yet they are leaving peacefully...please africans wake up and protect your people, we all are brothers and sisters ooooo..GOD please, please help us. The thing is God already helps us but we refuse to accept Him.

  • CONSEQUENCES OF COLONISATION. When English Crown arrived in Africa,it looked down upon fact that there were different Ethnic Groups in Africa and that each Ethnic Group had its own country with defininate FRONTIERS and Language.Colonisers saw Africans as just a bag of sand, yet even sand is different from one beach or land to another.Same way China of Mao Tse Tung FORCED four or five families to live inside about 3sq.m room and share external kitchen & shower with hundreds of other Chinese!

  • okoroman. i think u are a fool, and u are not what we need in mordern Nigeria. u are biased and hopeless even to your self. is there any area or section in nigeria that is doing well? u act like there is problem only in Niger delta. i love hausa, fulani, yoruba, ibo, efik, ijaw, ibibio, etc they are all my brothers

  • why i like the war against niger delta is that they ran away from the igbos during the biafran war. they now claim to be biafrans. hahaha. next it would be the turn of the yorubas, then the hausas; maybe after then we will talk.

  • You should know your history before making careless statements (Assuming you are not Yoruba). It was an Ijaw, the late Frank Opugo, that suggested the name Biafra for the republic.

  • okoroman, frankly i am not in support of the niger delta genocide...

but the riverine werent sincere with the igbos.

the biafran war was fought by the igbos alone.....

the yorubas and south south denied us during the war.

  • tHE NIGERDELTER ARE REALLY OUR BOTHERS AND SISTERS DONT MAKE SUCH STATEMENT IAM BIAFRA TOO UDO DIRI GI

  • i salute ur comment...

they denied us during the biafran war

    now its their own turn.

    next the cowardice yorubas

after then we talk......much love and respect.

  • hey

  • who is stopping you, go on and kick them out. But for those of us who are more knowledgeable than you are, we are moving out.

  • "The dead cannot cry out for justice; it is a duty of the living to do so for them" - Lois McMaster Bujold, Diplomatic Immunity, 2002

  • History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people. Martin Luther King Jr.

  • Yoruba are the ultimate beneficiary of Nigeria,as the hausa continue to fight for them in the Niger Delta,Indigbo have been rendered impotent and useless...I love Nigeria.

  • There is a saying that "illiteracy is a disease", but your disease is perhaps beyond cure because you are part of the cause of that disease, and in fact part of that disease

Who are the people that make up the "Niger delta"? The Niger delta is made up of closely related ethnic groups, and these groups are radically different from the people of Northern Nigeria, thousand miles away. The Biafra Charter supports Self-Determination for the peoples of Biafra.

  • Who makes up the "Niger delta"? The Niger delta is made up of closely related ethnic groups, and these groups are radically different from the people of Northern Nigeria, thousand miles away. The Biafra Charter supports Self-Determination for the peoples of Biafra.

  • "The Biafran peoples possess the right of self-determination, and by virtue of that right freely choose a social, economic, political and cultural future according to their needs and customs." (Principle 2, Biafra Charter)

  • Just as you annexed them, is stealing their resources and is butchering them? No, we are moving out of Nigeria to live as human beings and develop at our own pace. We have no business in the Niger Delta oil which you seek, and which you are ready to kill for. Let them stay in Nigeria or their own if they like. But the question is this. "who are the Niger Delta People? Ijaw, Efik. Ibibio, or Igbos?

  • good question onyibeb. nigeria is a land of savages. we dont have leaders. its oil they are fighting for. lets see how long oil dependency will last.

  • only two thing can stop it; Biafra's exit from the evil enclave - Nigeria; or he oil stops flowing. Those wicked rulers of Nigeria will never let go until one of those two happens

  • isaac Boro(cntd)

It is no use to repeat that Isaac Boro who was jailed by the Maj. Gen. Aguiyi-Ironsi government on recommendation by the supreme court of Nigeria was pardoned by Lt. Col Yakubu Gowon's government and later commissioned by the Nigerian Army as an officer to help liberate southern territories under Biafran control. He recruited Rivers men who volunteered to serve under him and gave them brief training at Escravos

  • Isaac Boro was responsible for the victories (on the Nigerian side) in the riverine areas against Biafra. He fought on Nigeria's side believing that he was fighting and saving his people from the threat Igbo domination. Following Boro's military success, he was assassinated by Nigeria's Benjamine Adekunle (Black Scorpion), a Yoruba who claimed those victories as his.

  • The Ogoni MOSOP activist Ken Saro-Wiwa, (who was also a supporter of Gowon's war against Biafra) was hanged by Sani Abacha, an Islamic fundamentalist.

  • Isaac Jasper Boro was born to a Kaiama family in present day Bayelsa State of Nigeria, in 1938 and died in mysterious circumstances on May 16, 1968 while fighting to unite Nigeria. [1,2]

Boro was he who shortly after the Jan. 1966 coup declared the first Republic within Nigeria called the Niger Delta Republic that lasted for 12 days. It was an attempt to liberate the Niger Delta people from the socio-economic oppression by the then eastern regional govenmen

  • dapo, you are stupid i mean naturally retarded.........you are a propaganda and opportunist, you lied just to make you exactly what you are ,you are a descendant of unstability grand son of coward.,

  • Question: Who is waging war on whom? Answer: The Islamic Hausa/Fulani-Yoruba led Feudal government of Nigeria is waging war on our hapless people.

We love peace however peace is only achievable when there is JUSTICE. Peace is followed by JUSTICE and not the other way around. There will be no Peace without Justice. "Justice" means restoring our rights and FREEDOM.

  • Reject War and encourage peacefull seperation and save the peoples from further destruction. You prevent war by encouraging and upholding Freedom and Justice. Nigeria is the opposite of Freedom and Justice.

  • Bros, let me just make a little point.......the Aro engaged in slave trade on a large scale, but they never ruled the entire Igbo land at any point. They would raid neighboring communities to execute their deeds. However, this was not a situation peculiar to just the Igbo. The Ijebu were known to sell the Egba during the slave trade, in Yoruba land. The situation repeated itself all across west africa. Thank you.

  • What do you expect from the Dapos and Rotimis (Oil parasites of Nigeria)? There is a very high chance that the beneficiaries of the failed State will work hard to defend the failed, sick colonial construct called Nigeria. Notice your Okoroman ignored him on this matter. Yet closely related peoples of the niger-delta (regardless of their ills and good) have little or nothing in common with people of northern Nigeria ( from thousand miles away), who have now colonized these peoples.

  • Northern Nigeria controlled government of Nigeria committed genocide on our people. They killed Millions of our people including old men and women, and even children. They planned to exterminate our people. They are still killing us and making life hell on earth for us. This is Genocide we are talking about.

  • tablibsbs, that is a misplaced question appropriate for the Hausa-fulani and Yoruba Oligarchs that has ruled Nigeria since 1960. Okoroman has done nothing wrong here. Why charge the victims not the perpetrators? Why this evil disposition amongst some Nigerians?

  • no worry, this one no be fight,if you get proof show me,if i get i go show you,we all want make nigeria better.one luv.i can be a fool too,it depends on who is remoting me.

  • u ibos are only a fool,u allow urself to be use by this oyinbo, biafra war to me is only a war between the british and the france, they only use you.think to my words or make research.

  • You are a moron for lumping all Igbos to be fools. What type of incoherent petulance were you spewing up there? fcvking retard.

  • dapo, I dont want to dwell in this kind of conjecture with you. As an Igboman, I am obligated to react accordingly when someone tries to push an unnecessary agenda against my ethnic group and it is your duty to address Okoroman accordingly if you think he is making false claims against Yorubas and Hausas not me. You need to read your history and with an open mind I must add.

  • go unite with your own very yoruba brethrens we and you guys dont have nothing in common.stop preaching disasterous unity,it dont solve no problem.

  • Yoruba's then are fools for following Awolowo, the arch-tribalists, even in his grave; and they are also greater fools for idolizing Abiola, a blackmailer, who got his boss drunk, took pictures of him in drunken stupor to have him sale his position. Now cladower, maybe you know how it feels to make stupid statements.

  • The sad truth is that Nigeria is ruled by the three ethnic groups of Hausa, Ibo and yorubas at the expense of the ethnic minorities that provide the bulk of Nigeria`s wealth but have nothing to show for it. If u want justice then fight for all the poor masses of Nigeria who happen to come from all ethnic groups. But ur struggle is for an Ibo dominated Biafra at the expense of the minorities from the oil producing areas. I pressume u will need their oil and port for survival, just like nigeria.

  • The bitter, and often hidden truth (the real truth) is that Nigeria operates a feudalistic system of government, which is owned and run by the Hausa/Fulani-Yoruba Oligarchy, who are under the control of the Sokoto Caliphate.

  • These criminal Hausa/Fulani-Yoruba led successive governments have been destroying Biafrans at the slightest opportunity. Name them - Abubakar, Obasanjo, Abacha, Babangida, Yaradua -They have all unleashed unprovoked mayhem on Biafrans. In order to succeed they recruit criminals sell-outs, common outcasts of our societies (who care less or are clueless about the customs and traditions of our people) into their so-called government to create the impression of One-Nigeria (an oxymoron).

  • With their puppets installed all over Biafraland they try to control our people. Since these installed criminals don't care about our people ,the people suffer hardship due to negelect by the irresponsble and incompetent leadership(s) installed, when normal leadership should normally protect & promote the peoples customs traditions and interests/needs, and development/progress in general.

  • Of course this neglect (lack of concern about the wellbeing of our people by the so called leaders) is part the anti-Biafra policy of Nigeria. What an efficient way to destroy our people , with our own criminals and outcasts.

  • Once totally corrupted with stolen Biafran money given to them by the owners of Nigeria, they do anything that the Hausa/Fulani-Yoruba owners of Nigerian government tell them to do, including deceiving and killing our people. While the owners of Nigeria go on destroying our people, the greedy men and women of our own Biafran societies that are used (especially those living aborad in Lagos, Abuja etc), promote One-Nigeria.

  • Keep reminding us where your interest (only) interest lies: "Oil". Should one expect any better from the Dapos and Rotimis of Nigeria?

  • Biafra is about Freedom. It is about freedom to choose your own cluture, social development, your economy and your political development without interferance. The Biafrans have acted to exercise their power of self-determination.

  • Why should any sane Biafran today aid Nigeria in its continuing to destroy our land and our people? Why should any Biafran continue to insist on one-Nigeria for our people? Why should any Biafran fail to ask for Biafra actualization today to relieve us of destructive enslavement by Nigeria?

  • It should be obvious to our people that this is the solution to our awful predicament in Nigeria. In fact, the root-solution is Biafra actualization. A Sovereign Independent Biafra for our people gives us back the control of our land and gives our people back their life, that we may repair our tattered culture and battered society, and in so doing, start on the journey back to our wonted Tradition.

  • A Sovereign Independent Biafra puts us directly in charge of our own destiny, thus to restore Security in our Land and to our land, and allow us to come home, live at home or leave home, in confidence and prosperity, on our own terms, and for reasons other than lack of security.

  • It is this process-cum- principle of Self Determination that we want to win over all Biafrans to, as our ways to Biafra actualization, in order to stop our maddening misfortunes, reverse our course, and return to Life and living. Biafra actualization is the answer; Self Determination is the way. Biafra!

  • And you have everything to contribute humanity with the murder of innocent children, women and the aged, and raping young girls; you have something to contribute by being a rogue nation, stealing what belong to other people by force of arms? You Nigerians are shameless!

  • NDelta: 3 more Ijaw communities razed

...4000 additional troops deployed to beef up JTF

    From MURPHY GANAGANA, Abuja

Daily Sun, Friday, June 5, 2009

  • baba god in heaven, please bless me and truly nigerians, please dry off this evil oil from our land and let ur peace come.amen

  • Amen

  • It is not the oil that is "evil". It is the issue of thieves/aliens invading our land and destroying our communities and enslaving the peoples. It is about aliens mismanaging other people's property and damaging their ecosystem and their means of livelihood by destroying their - land, forests , streams and animals that inhibit this land. These aliens have also tried to liquidate the culture and social structure of the peoples. It is about the evil act of Nigeria.

  • People seem to make it seem as if it is just an issue of oil but there is a lot more at stake. The problem with the oil however is about the problem of land and the rivers: It is that the rightful owners are not managing it. It is that it has been forcefully taken away by the rightful owners.

  • Criminal Nigeria, using greedy exploitative colonial as well as deliberately punitive policies in the form of its so-called Land Use Decree, claimed and took possession of all of Oil-producing Niger Delta land as Nigerian Government property, specifically so that it can take control and ownership of the Oil.

  • Note that such a decree had never been applied to any other part of the geographical expression called Nigeria; the Nigerian government could never dream of even claiming as Nigerian territory what Northern Nigerians regard as their own holy Muslim Land of their own Nation of Islam.

  • Yet, that was not all. Nigeria, in its ongoing policy of subjugation, looting and punishment of Biafra, uses all of the revenue from the Oil to develop and modernize the Northern part of Nigeria and some parts of Western Nigeria, and to enrich Northern Nigerian military and feudal leaders, as well as a few Western Nigerian individuals ...

  • ... But out of sheer malice and loathe for Biafra and her peoples, Nigeria vehemently refuses to spend any proceeds from the Oil for the benefit of the Niger-delta, let alone for repairing the disastrous ecological and biosphere damage done in the region as a direct result of oil exploration therein.

  • "After its 2nd Assembly in Portharcourt, Rivers State, the 150 delegates of the Niger Delta leaders in a statement issued yesterday by a prominent monarch, King Alfred Diette-Spiff and Alabo Tonye Graham-Douglas, declared the (Nigeria)military operation a "genocide"... ---- Guardian Newspapers. Thursday May 28, 2009.

  • you say Biafra. How can we trust Biafra? How can we be sure that the leaders of Biafra will not turn out to be the same or maybe even worse than what we are already experiencing. Southern leaders are no better than Northern or Western leaders. What exactly are they doing for the states they govern? Your words incite hatred and anger, do you know? Step back and let love reign in your heart. Everyone has their own share of blame in Nigeria's crises. Please, stop creating more division.

  • We are not creating division. Firstly, One-Nigeria was and is an oxymoron. Look up the meaning of oxymoron. Secondly, we are not Nigerians. We have our own State of Biafra. In 1967 we declared our independence from Nigeria.

"We the peoples of Biafra have resolved to atualize, renew, re-affirm and continue with Declartion of Biafra of May 30, 1967, with all the implications thereof." See the Biafra Charter.

  • KeiiArz, We don't trust Nigeria and for good reasons do not want to have anything to do with it. Your hypotheticals are nauseating. Many ifs and lack of available and abounding evidence of facts. What leaders do you call "Southern Leaders?" Be specific. What is Hausa-fulani and Yoruba Oligarchs doing for Nigerians they govern except give them corruption, poverty and death. Exploitation, Oppression and genocide do not incite hatred and anger, it is the complaint against them. Who owes what blame?

  • **rolls eyes**

Okoroman, you are such a drama queen

  • 'People know that Nigeria does not exist as a true nation. But our leaders are fraudulently holding up to the country because of the oil in Itsekiri land, in Ogoni land, in Ilaje, Ijaw land and Urhobo land and in some parts of Iboland. There was a civil war in this country and the fight was mainly to hold on to the oil. What is holding this contraption called Nigeria together is the oil and for so long our people has been used.."

  • "But the whole problem(of resource control) that we are experiencing now could be traced to the "Land Use Decree," which was promulgated by (Olusegun) Obasanjo regime shortly after he succeeded Muritala..Obasanjo had support from the north because they all knew that with the decree, the Federal Government owned everything and by that, they could all share from the resource of the nation at the center." -- David Ejoor. Former Mid-West Regional Governor. Sunday Punch Newspapers. July 3, 2005.

  • "Awolowo was a devil and his policies led to the present problems that the people of Niger Delta are fighting..the Yoruba instead should apologize to the Niger Delta people for the federal government's policies the late premier of defunct Western Region influenced against the interest of the Niger Delta" --- Asari Dokubo. Champion Newspapers. Tuesday March 22, 2005.

  • Yoruba need not apologized for nothing, it's the duty of the government involved to do the apology (if any) We can't continue to live in the error of the past, we as a nation should find solution to the problems facing Nigeria not just on a particular OIL AREA. I agree on some of ur grieviances about Nigeria policies respecting the distribution of national oil and other resources revenues, BUT not on slanders or tribalism involved in your argument, we all one Nigeria (until Biafra is recognised)

  • Why do u nigerians lie so much to the point of delusion? U know damn well that nigerians can't stand each other. There's intense inter and intra ethnic rivalry, u know it. So why come up here and say such rubbish as "we are all one nigerian." Are u delusional?

  • Awolowo dismantled Fiscal Federalism in 1968, and as the author of Gowon's economic policy from 1967-1970, he stripped the Southern Nationalities in the Niger Delta of their resource rights and control through the Dina Commission.

  • The same way you blame Awolowo is the same I will blame Azikwe and latter day Ojukwu for not using their intelligence to construct a true one Nigeria. They rather aided and condoned the unfairness of the British to make the Northerners powerful as an ally. Agunyi Ironsi was much loved by yorubas then. My dad told me the Yorubas and Ibos were the true products of Nigeria until the war separated us and that some yorubas in Biafran army were later killed

  • Omoibile, check facts for yourself through books, journals, newspapers, periodicals and media documentaries and documents. You can now see that most of what you were told, put mildly, were inacurate.

  • Omoibile please check your facts before making a comment.

  • sky1927: What fact you talking about? I'm no researcher

  • Okoro man (the presenter) what an accent?Well for your information Niger-Delta have never been part of south-east.But for the fact that they have oil they are now your brothers from the east. For your information the Niger-Deltans will prefer to live other tribes in the country than with Igbos if you doubt you may ask those in the know.

  • Elnaf this is about Biafra, not South-East or South-South. We try as much as possible to refrain from those divisive Nigerian terminologies but sometimes we relax that to help persons like you follow. FYI there is oil in South South and South East. Biafra has provinces and counties, and not States or zones as is used in Nigeria. Examine them and Master them. The "Niger delta" area is Biafra.

  • Okoroman has not told you if she/he is Igbo, Ijaw, Isoko, Isan, Urogbho, Isan, Efik...

Morover, "Okoro"-man is not unique to "Igbos" as youre ignorance suggests by your comment., so save us from this embarassment. So far if you had been observant you should have heard two of the Okoroman people (Biafrans) in the videos. - Hint: Okoroman is not one person.

  • Elnaf, we can understand that you don't like the accent of the Okoroman speaker. Well, sorry but its hardly easy to find a Biafran with Hausa/Fulani accent.

  • Okoroman does not need to say more(lol) your crude accent speaks for you.

  • "Well, sorry but its hardly easy to find a Biafran with Hausa/Fulani accent."

Until then, get used to it.

  • these exactly not what we want tribalism and or group does not matter at all here the point is to savage this country its high time we left this issue of south issue or rank.yet niger delta has not been able to do it on their own.its time we unite and do something

  • Well said

  • Thanks elnaf, everybody want to associate with Niger delta because of oil wealth. let the igbo look inward and look for what they can contribute to the federation, and stop spoiling our names in all the Western nations of the world. one day here in europe somebody call me drug baron and later apologized when he realised am not Ibo

  • i think you should check all the oil producing states in nigeria check ur map before you start talking something you dont no

  • As a Biafran ,if you are not Mortified by what you've just listened to.....then you're engaged in the highest level of sadism.

I hope this puts an end to your DELUSIONAL one nigeria.

  • wow! Okoroman what is your problem with my comments, i guest you are Biafrans7 Father, if you blocked me then everybody here will know that you're either a fool or a racist too, because i wan't talking to you.

  • If Okoroman blocks you, and deletes your comments nobody will know and/or care to know you. It is a privilege that you leave comments. This page is not for entertaining the enemy, so Soji leave comments wisely as you may not have this privilege for long. We don't like you.

  • Biafrans7... you have a fish brain.. so i cannot continue playing with jellyfish like you. just becareful when you post a comments b'cos every user's IP. can be traced.

  • Your threats will not stop people from leaving comments. Soji if leave any such life threats as this again, be rest assured that you will be blocked and all your comments may be deleted. If you like create 1 million such accounts. We will sniff you out for what you are and what your represent. It is obvious why you created your account.

  • Why would Hausa-fulani Islamic Pogromists; Jihadists genocidists and greedy, avaricious, slavish Yoruba oligarchs wrought uncountable evil against these Nigerians and they take it, but are quick to attack innocent Biafrans because they are civilized? These Nigerians are utter cowards and degenerate fools.

  • It is not a matter of Biafra,. It is a matter of freedom for the people. We are stonger together. But if what is happening continues..... .well it is obvious that we will have to break up before we crumble. Pan Africanism is the solution. Expand the sphere of stackholders. African even outside the continent of Afro disent will give anything to part of a unifying progressive development for Nigeria and the whole black race
