Teeth whitend ....ahhh not Church approved ?

  • we are living in the 21 st century. The core message is love, prayer, and love. I wish you true peace.

  • Our Lady Has Never talked to a Bleach blond Novus Ordo bimbo in makeup \

and PANTS !!!! I can hear heresy as she speaks. Don't be afraid . This is not Catholic at all. You better fear you are going to a invalid fake protestant "mass"

Investigate La Salette be concerned with

    APPROVED APPRITIONS not these

fake ones. duke I will debate you ANYDAY.

You may have felt something but it was not

of God. He said he would allow fake wonders and liars in makeup and pants

    This will fool many

  • There is no evil or good. Just about human evolution. For rats snakes are evil, for snakes rats are food. Human still evolving as a species to understand their diabolique creatures ( most man kind is suffering mental illness anyway.)

  • I just wonder, Muslim respected Mary mother of jesus because her name was called 30 times in Qur'an, but st. Mary never told the muslims not to prosecute the christians ? Wierd.. she is busy putting her self as a center of apocalypse ?

  • The SECRET was revealed not too long ago.

She just was not ready to share in front of all those nosy interviewers that she had just purchased a very sexy pair of Victoria's Secret thongs!

  • Its over by 1:32, waddya mean?

  • check out 1:32 to 1:38 see that shape in the tree above her head that looks like a crown? It is a demon mocking her, i see them doing things like this all the time. Christians say i can discern blessings and signs.

  • When i watch it a second time i can see them making facesin the background too... It' like exorcism of emily rose

  • oOEIGHTOo,I don't know what you see,but I know who you should see.If you can discern blessings and signs, please don't share them, because you will be wasting precious time.If you see demons doing things all the time, apparently it is in your head. Please get help along with the supposed christians that encourage you.Poor Soul!

  • Your far from being able to help me. You are far from knowing anything if you thinkGodisn't real. First rule God was always existingand eternal. Second rule you can't get something from nothing. Once you start to open your eyescome back tothe community. Maybe we can help you.

  • only this week i got this video, truly didn't know this was taking place, iam sharing it with my email friends,God continue to bless you.

  • fantasticno znas engleski :D

  • marija2m, what do you mean in English?

  • pray for the salvation of the world and for the release of souls in purgatory

  • And for democrats.

  • democratsruleusa, the dems sold their souls to the devil when they made abortion their platform

  • Well this was used as an excuse to spread Catholic-Croat-Nationalism sentiment so it was good that they took her in for investigation.

    Long live SFRJ!

  • Some of us dont have to go to Medjugorie or see a miracle to believe. But there those that have so much hate , that we have to pray every day for them. Like the blesed Virgin said.

  • OH LETS BE HONEST...give us the blooming miracle and be done with it.

or haven't you visonaries made enough money yet?

Medjugorje will NEVER be recognised by the true church.

God help you all when the lie finds you out

  • U believe in the truth church and u don't believe in visions??? She doesn't get any money for this. She's just telling what she saw and what she hears. The church is working on this place, it takes a lot of time to proof the visions and miracles, also Medjugorje is the place of Muslim prayers.

  • mik12467, you don't need a miracle, because I doubt that you and people like yourself would know a miracle if it were on the tip of their proboscis. People with faith have the tolerance to wait for things, which the faithless lack. I was in Medjugorje twice, but I did not pray or ask for a miracle, but for my Blessed Mother, Who appeared in the home where we were residing, for great faith and holiness. If you have faith, then you don't need miracles.Pope John Paul ll, believed in Medjugorje.

  • give us the blooming miracle ? before the miracle there is to be a warning..i wouldn't want to rush the warning if i were you.

  • Si es real la Iglesia la reconocerá.

  • Apollo, (shows how "catholic" your parents are) I don't hate anything but how ignorant people are. I'm sorry I have hurt your feelings but I have offered to get you into a real Catholic situation and you report that as hate ? You won't even DEBATE ! You know I am right. Have you seen the lastest video B1666 being annointed by a Pagan Witch doctor?

Do you approve ? I'm sure you do .

  • "You know I am right. "

Sadly for you...no. And what do you know about me? Nothing.

As for my name, it is Apolloni. It is an old Italian name, but it is derived from Saint Apollonia. Do you know who she is?

Please, stop embarrassing yourself. It is better to be silent and thought of as a fool, than to speak up and remove all doubt. You have, sadly, succeeded in removing all doubt.

Promoting hatred toward another is not Christian, and is also against Youtube rules.

    You have been reported.

  • I asked you a question. You have yet to answer:

Tell us, was it ok to kill just one Jew?

And here are a couple of questions for you

    1) Have you ever been to a concentration camp?

    2) Have you ever had your family hunted down by Nazi's?

I can answer "yes" to both. Can you?

    Answer them.

  • mapollo, It is not right to kill a Jew, whom I love, and our Lord Jesus was a Jew. I was never in a concentration camp, but when in Korea, I endured things that were comparable. My mother had a Hebrew name, my sister was raped and killed by the nazis. Do those things make us special so that we deserve special favors. Jews are not the only people that were persecuted. The christians were fed to lions.Blacks were slaves. Because of my ethnicity...catholic faith, I still have to fight for equality.

  • "mapollo, It is not right to kill a Jew, "

My question was to SAYYOURROSARY, and it was rhetorical. He hates Jewish people. I do not. Because of my ethnicity I fight for equality as well. Pope John Paul2 is my mentor and name sake. I fight in his name and that of Jesus.

My family fled the Germans, my grandmother was beaten by the SS. My uncle was a partisan. So I understand you. But SAYYOURROSARY does not. Killing anyone is wrong. Bigotry is wrong. Hatred is wrong.

  • You follow the Dimond brothers in their so-called monastery. Here is a bit of truth for all to see. The place was founded in 1967 a former Benedictine monk named Joseph Natale. Natale entered the Benedictine Archabbey in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, in 1960 as a lay postulant, but left months later to start his own Holy Family Monastery. Natale left before taking vows; he never actually became a Benedictine monk.

Thus he was not in communion with anything. Beginning to sound interesting?

  • "Apollo, (shows how "catholic" your parents are) I don't hate anything but how ignorant people are"

The ignorance is of your own making. You hate my parents, and you hate my name. Discern the nature of your hate, it is neither holy or Christ-like.

  • This so fake! Our Lady Has Never talked

to a bleach blond covered in makeup in pants no less ! Why not focus on FATIMA?

At least that is approved by the Church.

Wear a Scapular ,Pray your Rosary.

This so fake . It is a V-2 fakeout. I'm sure the V-2 New Oder Cult will approve it real quick, especially if the Apparition approves of Vatican 2 evil...

warch B16 annoint the hair this Ash Wensday on EWTN? He is pure evil in

    carnate ....wake up DEBATE

  • "This so fake! Our Lady Has Never talked

to a bleach blond covered in makeup in pants"

And you know this because the Dimond brothers told you?

    Get help. You need it.

  • By the way, you have been reported to Youtube folks for contravening the rules regarding hate mongering.

  • SAYYOURROSARY,how can you condemn, without knowing.I went to Medjugorje, and experienced the miracle of the sun.I am a catholic, and don't accept anything until it is virtually true or I am able to be convinced by investigating or experiencing the phenomenon.People say this and that is happening, and some people in their ignorance and hunger believe it immediately without trying to verify the truth.I went there to seek the validity of the apparitons, and I am certain, without doubt, they are true.IHS

  • Fasting: Mary said at Medjugorje to fast every Wednesday and friday on Bread and water. Read below for some of the benefits. "If you are not able to fast on bread and water, you can give up various things" egs "T.V, cigarettes, alcohol and other pleasures." "You know what you must do" .

  • "Faith cannot live without prayer" !!!! "The world has forgotten the value of fasting and prayer; with fasting and prayer wars would be stopped and natural laws suspended" " only the seriously ill are free from fasting " "You should pray and fast on behalf of the sick. It is easy for God to heal them, but not for man." (messages from Mary in Medjugorje)

  • Messages from Mary, mother of God. "Read the bible in your homes every day and let it be in a visible place there so it always encourages you to read and pray".

  • Messages from Mary the mother of God:

"I cannot cure you. Only God can heal. Pray, I will pray with you. Believe firmly. Fast and do penance. I will help you as far as it is within my power. It is God who comes to your aid. Iam not God. I need your prayers and sacrifices to help me." "I ask you to show your love by coming to the mass and the Lord will reward you abundantly"

  • I know the apparitions are authentic because of the changes in my life that happen as a result of following Mary's advice in the apparitions. So for all who believe, I will be posting some of the messages which really spoke to me. Hope they help. "Pray, Pray Pray! In prayer you will come to know the greatest joy, and the way out of every situation that has no way out".

  • This is fake as a 3 dollar bill ..........

Our Lady don't appear to blond bimbos

selling sodas ! FATIMA is 100%

  • "Our Lady don't appear to blond bimbos"

You know this because you are Mary?

Pride is a sin. Humility is a virtue. Try it sometime.

  • Mirjana's life speaks for itself. Fakers couldn't go 27 years without betraying themselves in some way. All these visionaries live lives of self-denial, fasting twice a week, going where people need them, fulfilling the missions Mary gave each of them, living good lives and raising their families. I've been to Medjugorje and heard Vicka speak. I've heard Ivan speak here in Hawaii. They are normal people, with no show-business aura. I think they're authentic.

  • a message speaks a thousand words. Thank you, very much for sharing this pieces through out the world. lol..... god blessed.

    qoproductions.

  • I find the timing of these "visions" very suspect. I have been to Croatia and Bosnia several times. Before the war the Croatians were not a super religious peoples. I find it amusing that after the war and their independence that there has been a Catholic fervor in the country. Part of their identity that separated them from the Serbs was Catholicism. It is interesting that Medjugorje suddenly arose from this time.

  • Medogorje apparitions started before the war!

  • I have seen my own Croatian family members go from being practically atheists to fanatic Catholics in a span of ten years because of Croatian nationalism. I am sorry to say it but it is true. The Catholic religion is at the center of Croatian Nationalism.

  • Medjugorje might be a holy place but humans are not holy. This Mirjana comes across as a scam artist. The secret thing is so bogus.

    Why not tell people?

  • Why not tell people? Its not up to her when to tell people. Don't you think a scammer would want to tell people and maybe profit from the information?

  • Her face looks so insincere when she sees her "vision". Visions don't come regularly like clockwork that's why they are miracles. When she performs for the camera she looks like a total fraud but people want to believe so they do.

  • her visions do come at planned times, yes they can be regular

  • She is responding to the emotions that she gets when Mary appears which are overwhelming. It is not a voluntary act as you describe. There is nothing fake about this, believe me. Mary appears to many people in the world.

  • Every cult has it secrets.I have the secret, follow me and one day i'll tell you it.But that day never comes. They are seeing some entity, but what entity it is we will never know. People are God itself. We just don't remember we are and we look for external answers.

Maybe this path is what some need.

  • More from Mirjana: I personally had a such a great honour to be able to speak with late Pope John Paul II [in Italian] ... we talked and among other things he said to me, "If I were not Pope, I would be in Medjugorje a long time ago. I know everything, I have been following everything. Ask pilgrims to pray for my intentions. And take good care of Medjugorje because Medjugorje is the hope for the entire world...

  • From a talk by Mirjana ...

Our Bishop first of all is our Bishop. We pray for him and we respect him because that is the way our Heavenly Mother has been teaching us. ... What I can say is that we have a letter from Vatican that whatever our Bishop says about Medjugorje is going to be accepted in Vatican as his own personal opinion, but not opinion as a Bishop because Medjugorje surpasses this Diocese I would say and it's been brought into hands of Vatican, because it's a world phenomenon.

  • that is so beautiful. thank you sing. more than you will ever know, thank you.

    Mary is wonderful

  • the Mother of Jesus is the devil you say?

No. The Mother of Jesus is the Mother of Jesus. It doesnt matter what you or I say.

If she sees someone or not. Honor the mother of the Son.

  • there is no secret in Medjugorje it's always freud like anything that has to do with religions or gods.

Medjugorje is in Hercegovina a region where only snakes, rocks and ustasha grow, home of some of the most fanatics racists bigoted catholic croats. These people have committed vicious crimes during the war including the destruction of the beautiful old bridge of Mostar.

  • what I meant is that Medjugorje is a fraud

  • ha ha,, what a crap

  • Acts 2,17-21

In the last days it will be, God declares, That I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams. Even upon my slaves, both men and women, in those days I will pour out My Spirit; and they shall prophesy. And I will show portents in the heaven above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and smoky mist.

  • qopproductions: I just wanted to ask a question about Marian apparitions. Many people have become believers or stronger believers because of these Marian apparitions etc. Why hasn't Mary appeared to other denominations for e.g. Lutheran Missouri Synod. Mary could tell them the RCC is true and they should go home to the church.

This is not unreasonable...remember what Jesus said to Thomas who SAW and then believed.

  • You know it is a worry with the financial system, is it a normal event or something calamitous? I pray every day for the world and my children and hope you will do the same

  • I believe Medjugorje lost no men in the war nor were they ever bombed attacke ect.

  • that's correct that's because the town is 100% catholic croat in an area of Hercegovina considered a stronghold for croats therefore serbs had no militairy claims anything west of the Neretva river.

  • This is the End...

  • ok, if you say so. but then, at least, teach her english. just a bit:)

  • and Oscar goes to...

  • Mirjana's amazing, isn't she? She has such a profound disposition that cynics like you think she must be acting. But the difference between Mirjana and "actors" is that actors have many takes to get it right. For Mirjana and the other five seers, this has been happening for most of their lives. Science has proven that they are not acting. I would urge you to investigate further and find the amazing, beautiful truth: Our Lady is appearing in Medjugorje, and she wants you to know that God is love.

  • How do you know how many takes she had? ha? I know that God is love, I don't have to see this lady.

  • How do I know how many "takes" she had? Because I filmed it. She is not acting. I've been blessed enough to be present at many of the apparitions and to interview most of the visionaries. This is very real, and I would urge you to reserve judgement until you go there and see for yourself. I promise you, Medjugorje is real and I would wager my life on its authenticity.

  • The second visitation in the video - look in her eyes. You can see the reflection of Our Mother.

  • All the finger pointing is really not christian like. Judge yourself before you judge others.

  • These are the fruits of Mary's apparition in Medjugorje, Bosnia-Herzegovina: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control and this is what Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV is trying to tell. The fruits of the Holy Spirit. These are the works of GOD through Mary, not a deception from satan and his angels.

  • From Our Lady, September 25, 2008

"Dear children! May your life, anew, be a decision for peace. Be joyful carriers of peace and do not forget that you live in a time of grace, in which God gives you great graces through my presence. Do not close yourselves, little children, but make good use of this time and seek the gift of peace and love for your life so that you may become witnesses to others. I bless you with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call."

  • ma perche' non sparisci anche te che e' meglio

  • Why are they the only ones who can see Her?

  • And no, I dont belive in the three days of darkness,(I belive thats what she is speaking about at the begining)lol, man made idea. We Humans will kill ourselves off before that ever happens. Simple Truth, stick with the teachings of the bible, something catholics like to twist for some reason.

  • On what authority do you base your claim that Catholics twist the teachings of the bible?

  • in the authority of one of the 30 000 protestant sects. Christ did not write a Bible, HE founded the Catholic Church.

  • I agree with you stick to the bible, The bible and the catholic teachings are miles apart. Jesus is our ONLY mediator and our ONLY intercessor so where does Mary fit in all of this.

  • Like someone posted before, "Jesus didn't give us a bible, He gave us a Church." It was the Church that gave us the bible. Every day the scriptures are read at Mass during the Liturgy of the Word. The Church teaches that Jesus is the only mediator with the Father. Any prayers we offer to the Father are through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

  • At baptism, we become members of the family of God. Jesus is our brother. That makes Mary our Mother, too. Just like at Cana, Jesus listens to his mother. At the wedding feast of Cana, Mary said, "Do whatever He tells you." True devotion to Mary always leads us to Jesus.

  • I dont believe that, The whole bible is about God and Jesus, no where in the bible does it say to pray to Mary. Sorry to hurt you but thats the truth.Jesus said "I am the truth, the life and the way". Thats it

  • Nowhere in the bible does it say that the bible is the only the only source of knowledge of God. However it does say in the bible that all of the things Jesus said and did cannot be contained in the gospel.

  • So you never asked anyone, your mother, or family or friends to pray for you or someone you know and love who is in need of prayers?

  • No, He is our Saviour He died for us. He is our Salvation. I dont ask anyone to pray for me, I pray (talk) to Jesus everyday, every hour he is on my mind and he is all i think about and need. I have problems too, i used to pray to Mary, but about 1 year ago i gave my heart to Jesus now since i pray to Jesus only my life has changed incredibly for the best.

  • That's good that you try to always live in the presence of God. I do that, too.

  • Mary always leads us to her Son, Jesus. So now that you have been drawn closer to Jesus, you diss His mother? Do you think Jesus would approve?

  • yes he didnt tell us to pray to his mother, there is no where in the bible that says pray to Mary. sorry.

  • good for you. And I hope you still read in the bible that Jesus said while He was hanging in the cross, "their is your mother". And I hope you would not dare to blasphem Jesus beloved Mother. Because Jesus loves her so much. That she was hand pick by God to be Jesus Mother. Now your mother.

  • amen

  • That means that the first Christians must not have been saved because the Bible did not exist for the first 300 years of Christianity.

  • The bible is a catholic book. So how can catholic teaching and the bible be miles apart? when the bible was written, there was only one christian church with one set of rules for 1000 years. This was the catholic church. Every other denomination is a result of a breakaway from the catholic church.

  • When the Bible was written, by SO many different people, there was NO such thing as Catholic. Jeshua Ben Jussuf, or as he is otherwise known as " Jesus" was a

Jew. So, if you follow the teachings of Jeshua, you follow the way of a Jewish

Rabbi, a Prophet in the eyes of Islam, and an Enlightened One in the eyes of Buddhism.

There IS NO OTHER DENOMINATION except God/Allah/Buddha and their gentle messages. No Inquistions or tortures or witch-burnings there.

  • To munichlady: Thanks for your opinion, although i think at least 3 billion people would disagree with it..The bible was written by the early christian church. It was not called catholic because there was only one christian church at that stage so there was no need for christian denominatoional names. Jesus was a Jew but Jews had him killed. If the Jews accepted Jesus as the Son of God, there would have been no need for a new church. Judaism and christianity would have been one.

  • Ah, and there I´m afraid I would have to disagree with you again. I believe Jesus was a great Prophet and an Enlightened Master, as were many " Sons and Daughters of God" to this day. I also see no reason why the Jews as a people, and the Pharisees, ( who had Jesus killed) should be given the blame His death. We will never find a common denominator for anything if we do not accept the Plan of the Cosmos, and forget the intolerance of some " organised" religions.

  • wacko

  • "When the Bible was written, by SO many different people, there was NO such thing as Catholic."

With all due respect, you may be mistaken. Ignatius of Antioch talked about the Catholic church in his letter to the Smyrneans. This was written a generation after the Resurrection. Also, he was a student (as well as Polycarp) of John the Apostle, and he (Ignatius) was installed as bishop by Peter himself. The evidence is compelling.

  • And, respectfully also. There is no evidence for a Resurrection. The only person I would think would be halfway interesting for a report on that is Jeshua´s wife Myriam. But, her Gospel was ploughed under , as were all women who ever presumed to be a " vessel" .

Fact is. NOTHING can be proved. Its all hearsay, and hearsay is not presentable as evidence in ANY court of law.

Maryam, the Mother of Jeshua, is honored in Islam, Buddhism and in any enlightened circles as a mother should be.

  • So Jesus had a wife? were you born into a christian family munichlady?

  • I was born into a normal family with a normal mother and a normal father. What does " Christian" have to do with this ?

  • Comment removed

  • I'm just wondering where you get the strange idea that Jesus was married

  • Why do you think this is a " strange " idea.?

A " Rabbi" as Jeshua is referred to in the Bible, mid 30´s would be an odd presence if he was not married.

Myriam is the only one who was constantly without fear at his side. When his other " apostles" were cowering or denying him, she was there. Only a lover, or a loving wife, will do that. Jeshua´s message was love and tolerance. The Cosmos makes NO mistakes. No torture, no pain, no anger, just an open heart for love, and love is myriad.

  • "Only a lover, or a loving wife, will do that "

Not necessarily so. An understanding of the social structure and norms of that period is helpful in understanding interpersonal relationships. For example the word 'brother' is often misinterpreted to mean that Jesus had blood brothers. But a review of the taxonomy of that word, in context with that culture, can be (and has been) applied to distant cousins etc...similar to our First Nations people (Indian) here in Canada.

  • You have not been able to refute the fact that Jeshua was a Rabbi, and sowith, being mid 30`s, most likely married with kids. Why should he not have had brothers and sisters for that matter ? NOWHERE in any Scripture has it been suggested that his mother ( bless her heart) only had one child. Fact is however, that ONLY His Mom and his Wife and his hrother were there when he was dying. BTW, My deceased husband was Ojibwe, and I lived in Petawawa for many years so First Nations is my home

  • "BTW, My deceased husband was Ojibwe, and I lived in Petawawa for many years so First Nations is my home"

Then you understand the point I made. You would also understand the folly of imposing the values and norms of your society on one which operated over 2000 years ago. Subjective conjecture will not prove your point.

I lived, and continue to live, amongst my Chippewa and Ojibwe friends. I have done this all my life.

  • "Hearsay" is how information & knowledge was transmitted in those days. It was very much an 'oral' society. Literacy was practically non-existent and even more so among the poor to whom Jesus and the Apostles ministered to. The compelling evidence exists in the writings of the first Christians who were closer to the events than we can ever hope to be. Ignatius was one of them. And of course there exists the writings of Titus Josephus, non-christian, which certainly points to that event.

  • The " Bible" was written,( scientifically proven) at least 80 to 100 years after the passing on of Jeshua. I.E. they were not CLOSER to events. It was, also in their situation, " Heresay" which is, might I remark, how much information is also transferred today and is NOT relevant in a Court of Law. If you have not personally met Ignatius,Titus, Josephus, or Jeshua, then your arguments are also based on " Heresay". You weren´t there. You dont know.

  • "If you have not personally met Ignatius,Titus, Josephus, or Jeshua, then your arguments are also based on " Heresay""

No, we have their documents to rely on, and much scholarship. Taking your approach you also cannot substantiate your conjecture in a court of law. But that is not where faith is found.

  • Also. Whats the use of saying its a secret, your not going to tell us them anyway! What im saying is, why make us wonder, what do they get out of that. And...if the secret is about chastiment, why not tell everyone, so they can scare them to convert. If Mary is speaking to her, whats the use of telling her about chastiment warnings, if she aint gonna tell anyone! Does not make sense.

  • These people are seeing nothing my friends. Its just a con. Why do visions like this only happen to a few people, why not most good people. Becuase it does not happen,(to anyone) thats why..great way of getting people to Medjugorje huh, the only holy person to walk this hearth was Jesus. And they look upon this lady as some kind of Idol, shame on you catholics!

  • My friend, I disagree with you in part. It does happen, but not because people are so holy. Like Mary proclaimed in the magnificat, God raises the lowly to high places (Luke 1: 46-52). Sometimes he chooses the weak to make them strong. But every claim must be tested. The events at Medjugorje cannot be affirmed. Bishop Zanic and his successor, Bishop Peric both found sufficient reason to doubt these claims.

  • I agree with you. Just to make money thats it. Catholics run as soon as a tiny miracle happens dont they just lack faith. If you believe in Jesus you dont need miracles to believe. Faith by sight thats what it is.

  • No so. All Catholics do not run to alledged miracle sights. I'm sure there are a lot of non-Catholics in the crowd at Medjugorje as well.

  • oh ye of little faith.

  • that was directed to 'tealmarlin', not to anyone else. :)

  • I Put my faith in the bible, not people, if this is how you base your faith then you go ahead, but I will tell you that the bible warns about such visions, look it up your self. Your faith is very shallow if you belive this.

  • May the peace of Christ be with you.

  • You can read what Bishop Peric has to say about Medugorje on the diocesean website.

By the way, your quote is incorrect and inappropriate. For me, no explanation "will suffice" if it is rooted in error. Searching for the truth is more important to me than defending what I would rather believe.

  • Well, you did not do enough research. Bishop Zanic wrote about his interviews with the children.

  • And how would you know what he has or has not done to investigate?

  • So who presided at Confirmation throught the years and gave the homilies that have been recorded in Medjugorje?

  • This is still the current status of Medjugorje. Wrong information about it is going around, apparently to discourage people from going there. The church is definite about saying that it's perfectly all right for people to go to Medjugorje as a place of pilgrimage, just not officially, as a parish group. Hundreds of priests and bishops go there themselves. When I went we had 3 priests in our tour group and there were many others there. It's not banned or even discouraged.

  • I've witnessed the visionaries see her. My father interviewed Mirjana, and I saw it. I believe what she says, and "with respect", the Church is sometimes slow with these things. Look how long it took to approve Fatima and Lourdes.

  • With respect, the church (through the local bishop) spotted things from the beginning. If you truly want to know what the church says about these events, listen to the local bishop.

  • At this point, the local bishop is not the last word on Medjugorje. The Vatican Secretary of State in 1987 was the current Pope, Cardinal Ratzinger. He was instrumental in removing jurisdiction from the local bishop and placing it in the hands of the Conference of Yugoslav Bishops, where it has remained to this day. In 2006 it was announced that the bishops must wait for Rome for any decision to be made on the events.

  • Ratzinger's frei erfunden. In 1998, when a certain German gathered various statements which were supposedly made by the Holy Father and the Cardinal Prefect, and forwarded them to the Vatican in the form of a memorandum, the Cardinal responded in writing on 22 July 1998: "The only thing I can say regarding statements on Medjugorje ascribed to the Holy Father and myself is that they are complete invention" - frei erfunden - (O. P., p. 283).

  • If this is about Cardinal Ratzinger, it probably refers to other statements ascribed to him and the Pope, and not to the removal of the Bishop from the investigation.

Some overzealous people have tried to say that either Cardinal Ratzinger or Pope John Paul II "approved" of Medjugorje or the visionaries in statements made by them, and were told these rumors were false, as they apparently were. Certainly neither of them would make approving statements when the investigations weren't complete.

  • From the bishops' statement in 1993: "We bishops, after a three-year-long commission study accept Medjugorje as a holy place, as a shrine. This means that we have nothing against it if someone venerates the Mother of God in a manner also in agreement with the teaching and belief of the Church. . . Therefore, we are leaving that to further study. The Church does not hurry." (Glas Koncila, August 15, 1993).

  • This is all that's going on about Medjugorje currently. The local bishop has absolutely NOTHING more to do with the discernment of the visions or the visionaries. It's all in the hands of the Conference of Yugoslav Bishops, but now with the direct oversight of the Holy See. I don't see what the fuss is about. The church is at a certain stage in the investigation, and this is it. What's your problem with it?

  • Dream on. What reason do you have to ignore the discernment of the local bishops?

  • The local bishop (singular) isn't involved in Medjugorje. Period.

  • Bishop Peric most certainly is involved in Medjugorje. Medjugorje falls under his jurisdiction.

  • Only in the sense that any town falls within any bishop's jurisdiction. The events of the visions there are not up for his discernment in any way except a personal one.

  • Says who? Where is the documentation to prove that the local bishop has nothing to do with the discernment?

  • It's obvious that you're not going to accept any documentation that doesn't go along with your preconceived notion that the bishop of Mostar is somehow involved in the Medjugorje investigation when he's been removed from it.

All I can suggest is that you look it up for yourself. If you're so determined to make victims of a dead bishop and his successor, do it on your own ... nobody will ever convince you otherwise.

  • I have researched it. It is you that has the preconceived notion that the bishop is wrong in his discernment and falsely believe that authority has been taken away from him. It is you that won't accept any documentation that goes against your fancies. Then you turn it all around and accuse one who listens to the rightful auhority. I find it difficult to believe that you will accept the final decision of the church.

  • DECLARATION from the third Commission (1981) by The Bishops of Yugoslavia:

"From the very beginning, the Bishops have been following the events of Medjugorje through the local Bishop, the Bishops' Commission and the Commission of the Bishops' Conference of Yugoslavia for Medjugorje. On the base of studies made so far, it cannot be affirmed that these matters concern supernatural apparitions or revelations." (continued)

  • continued..."Yet the gathering of the faithful from various parts of the world to Medjugorje, inspired by reasons of faith or other motives, require the pastoral attention and care, first of all, of the local Bishop..." continued

  • 3. continued..." and then of the other bishops with him, so that in Medjugorje and all connected with it, a healthy devotion towards the Blessed Virgin Mary according to the teachings of the Church may be promoted. The Bishops will also provide special liturgical and pastoral directives corresponding to this aim. At the same time, they will continue to study all the events of Medjugorje through the commissions. Zadar, 10 April 1991

    The Bishops of Yugoslavia"

  • As for Bishop Peric (the local bishop), his local Bishop's negative comments about Medjugorje were addressed directly in 1998 by the Holy See in a letter to his Excellency Mons. Gilbert Aubry, Bishop of Saint-Denis de la Reunion. The letter states that Bishop Peric's position on Medjugorje is his personal opinion, which he is entitled to as local Bishop, but remains his personal opinion.

  • My husband and I saw Ivan speak here in Hawaii and Vicka in Medjugorje. There's no doubt in my mind they're genuine. They have no ax to grind. They fast on bread and water twice a week, pray and only travel when they have to. They have normal lives and families and don't seek publicity. They submit to testing whenever they're asked and have gone through hundreds of tests. Mirjana said one test had more than a thousand questions in it!

If they're faking, it's a tough way to do it.

  • One of the most famous Medjugorje conversions was that of Lutheran Wayne Weible, who was watching a video of the Medjugorje visionaries when Mary spoke to him and told him that he was her son, and she wanted him to tell the world about her Son, and that it would be his work from then on, if he agreed. He went on to write several books about the events, and a few years later he and his wife became Catholics. She still speaks to him, though he's never seen her. We went on tour with him in 1999.

  • Many conversions to Catholicism happen through Mary, some completely out of the blue, like a friend of my sister's who was visiting the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington and suddenly saw her. She turned up at the rectory a while later and told the priest Our Lady was with her and was telling her she had to become a Catholic. He instructed her over time and eventually it happened, as it did to her daughter and son-in-law who were there that day. Go figure.

  • As to whether the visions at Medjugorje are real or not, my bet is that I'll find out before most of you, since I'm 80 years old, and chances are the ten events won't happen until after I'm gone. Mirjana is only in her 40's, Father Petr is only in his 60's, and they're the ones to announce them; it could be decades more before they occur.

I'm hoping at least to watch them from upstairs.

  • The church will do what it always does, look at it long and carefully.

It always seems to be part of it that whatever visionaries there are have to suffer a lot. Bernadette, the three children at Fatima, and now these six, who have been through a lot, including being scared half to death by the Communist police, locked up, called liars and crazy for years. They hang in there, though, which is one reason I have to give them the benefit of the doubt.

  • The apparitions in Zeitun, Egypt went on for three years! The president of the country went to see her. Muslims, Orthodox, Coptics, Catholics, everybody was there, day and night, mobbing the square by the church. The government began selling tickets and she left. She wasn't having any of that, apparently.

  • why are all these messages a secret? apparently she comes to earth with a message yet it is always some big secret?

  • The messages are secret because God doesn't choose to reveal them for now. They concern events in the future, and they'll be revealed when they're supposed to be, in God's good time. Mary does tell us many things in her messages which aren't secrets.

The purpose of her visit is the important thing, and the secrets not so much. Returning to God is what it's all about. If we follow her instructions, some of the future events can be mitigated or even removed entirely. That's why she's here.

  • I was at a Christian conference last week where a Jewish convert talked of his conversion to Catholicism. Part of his conversion entailed a dream where the blessed Virgin Mary appeared to him. One of the reasons he subsequently became a Catholic, as opposed to any other Christian denomination is because of the reverence we hold for Mary. The convert's name is Roy Shoeman.

  • Why does she only appear to Catholics? I never have heard of any other demonination claiming the Mother of Christ appeared to them with a message. Never.

Does anyone else besides me find this a bit odd?

Not only this, but that Fatima one was fishy.

  • She doesn't only appear to Catholics. She has also appeared to Orthodox Christians and others, I'm sure.

  • no do some research she only appears to catholics

  • yet I heard that when they asked her if the catholic church was the true church, she said that the church of god is the one that follows the light and that of her son, she did not say the catholic church. Yet maybe thats what she meant.

  • catholics are always looking for signs, not for GOD,it makes them feel that they're a special holy people, but really they're being fooled by satan!

  • I am not a catholic, but i know they are not beeing fooled by Satan, people thought this in the early days of the apparitions back in 1981 at Medjugorje. They threw holy water over the apparition to determine whether it was something evil or not. Also you can see today that it isn't because, as Jesus said "you can tell a tree by it's fruits".. Medjugorje being a tree and conversion to catholicism as its fruits. Satan would not bring people to faith.

  • Even satan our adversary appears like an angel of light,to fool people into worshiping him indirectly, without them even realizing this!

Rites, rituals and systematic forms of worship is not what GOD wants, but total obedience and submission to HIM, ultimately leading to a PERSONAL relationship with HIM.I have a PERSONAL relationship with MY LORD,and HE GUIDES AND DIRECTS ME right down to the most trivial of things like what I should wear,or eat, even what aisle I should go down in the supermarket!!

  • During His time on earth Jesus went to the temple to pray and the mountain. He kept the feasts with His community. What he wants, as restated by His Mother,is our hearts not just rites, rituals and systematic forms of worship. As His holy church teaches,Jesus is the mediator between God and us. We Thank God for giving us Jesus through His blessed mother. We Worship God alone. We pray to Him through Mary as one would tell a sister something to get help, support when asking a parent for a favor.

  • I agree 99% of what you've said and i can see your point about asking a sister or mother,BUT we don't need to pray through Mary.

CHRIST has bridged that gap between GOD and man,so we can pray directly to the FATHER. I'm not saying we should not honour Mary,as indeed she should be, but we shouldn't honour her above GOD or JESUS.We should not give her a role that GOD never delegated her ie. mediator between JESUS and man.

    PEACE!

  • That's interesting. You know that God wants no rites and rituals or systematic forms of worship, although Jesus Himself performed them while He was on earth and told his apostles how to perform them ... saying the Our Father, breaking the bread at the Last Supper ... and ordered them to do it? Or are you saying only Jewish rites and rituals are okay with God?

Many of us have a personal relationship with God involving all those things you mention; that's what the word "religion" means.

  • Well personally I'm not a"RELIGIOUS" person I'm a person of faith,my faith being in GOD THE FATHER,GOD THE SON,AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT.

The act of breaking of bread can be done by any true believer, anywhere, the role was not designated specifically for priests to do.

CHRIST said" do this in memory of me",

families can break bread together,on a daily basis, during devotion, when believers are gatherd together, they can break bread, the important thing is to do it in memory of CHRIST,and what HE did**

  • Nowadays anyone can interpret anything any way he wants to, if he believes in individual interpretation of scripture, against all reason.

For 1400 years people believed in the one true church; then all of a sudden everybody became his own Holy Spirit (in the words of Martin Luther, who was greatly distressed by it) and the scriptures became a shambles. Anybody can say they mean anything now.

I'll stay with the church that protected the scriptures for all those centuries, and still does.

  • dorsy2: And I'll stay with the revelation, understanding, and TRUTH GOD has revealed to me,and the protection GOD has given ME,ALL OF MY LIFE!!!

    PEACE!

  • I have known many serious pro-medjugorje people, and I can tell you that many of them are deeply involved in the Charismatic movement.

Also, I believe that Satan would do such a thing, if it was part of a bigger plan to weaken the faith entirely.

Medjugorje has been going on for what, 25 years? I doubt it will EVER end. Theyre trying to postpone this investigation.

The followers and the pro mejugorje priests have been disobedient and defiant of the bishop.

  • Investigations have been ongoing for 27 years, with the visionaries being tested in every possible way at the local level, starting with the local bishop and continuing with the Council of Yugoslav Bishops. Just because you don't hear about it doesn't mean it isn't happening.

The current Pope has now removed the investigations from the Medjugorje region, and appointed a commission last month to begin the official Vatican investigation.

The church, wisely, always moves slowly in these matters.

  • Do you understand that obedience is one of the most important tests in determining authenticity?

  • Of course. Who's been disobedient to the church, and when?

  • I only recommend that you read Bishop Peric's Discernment on this matter, where he spells out clearing the reasons for not approving of these apparitions. Bishop Zanic, who was greatly devoted to the Blessed Mother and was open to listening to the children in the beginning, began to recognize fibs and lies among the children and other things that raised doubt. The Church has always respected and accepted the authority of the bishops in this matter.

  • With respect, this is old information. The Vatican looked into it years ago, and after several years of observing the bishop's activism against the visionaries, in a very unusual step, took the investigation out of his jurisdiction and placed it in the hands of the Yugoslav Bishops. There it has remained until last month, when the Vatican announced the appointment of a commission to investigate the events in Medjugorje.

The Vatican has all the prior information, and will proceed from here on.

  • That is incorrect. The Vatican has always accepted the discernment of Bishop Zanic and Bishop Peric as well as the commissions that were set up to investigate. To imply that the bishop was not acting properly towards the visionaries and therefore the matter was taken out of his hands is a lie.
