  • every day i am more and more proud of being an indian!!!

  • this video is great

  • woo! Would so watch this :) Arjun reminds me of Aladdin a little bit. This is not quite anime but it's got the atmosphere of one. The characters look more disney-ish. Either way, I do want to see it :)

  • @JTeamjesters nice observation.

  • It's been more than a year! WHEN IS THIS COMING OUT???

  • @star4galaxy Never....its being developed in India. People here are a little slow. They don't believe in long terms projects.

  • for the first time after ramayan-the legend of prince ram..i am feeling that an indian epic movie will be accepted by us.its great work ,nicely executed ..a lot lot better than all those non creative ,sucking indian animated movies.............but when will you release this one??

  • Now that 's lot better than Ramayana the epic, which is really disappointing.

  • I have been waiting and waiting to see this movie but can't seem to find it anywhere.

Does anyone know where i can find it? Is it even out yet?

  • @ZeroZangetsu23

  • Whts the release date of this . looks interesting. I wonder how come so many animated movie trailers are out for Epic characters Ram, Arjun, Bheem, ,Ravan etc etc.. the still designs , animations look superb but the character features and movements looks pretty down market. And all these trailiers seem to have made by one company .. wonder they shud improve their characterization art and then make movies..still long way for indin Animation industry . Best Luck .

  • Wow.... Awesome...

  • when it's gonna release ?

  • The trailer is Awesome!! Let's see how's the movie..

  • 5*****

    when'll this be released?

  • "ANURAG" he Arjun hai. Krishn was a sadguru and Arjun was his disciple. It is definitely not what we have been taught till date. Think - can god kill anyone? If so, can he be God? Please try to listen to Yatharth Geeta, never has Gita been explained so clearly and in so much depth. It is hence called as "Yatharthgeeta", you can download the mp3 of your choice of language at yatharthgeeta. com to OR get search for 'yatharthgeeta' right here on youtube to get a quick preview. God Bless You!

  • THE promo only took 6 month to reach up 2 the mark of Hollywood,,,,good job by utv toons animation guys. y de r not releasing it,

  • good

  • Arjun is the best. I want to see this movie.

  • I'm not sure if I would want to see this movie. The promo looks pretty weak to me. None of the emotions hold my interest and I'm tired of letters on the screen telling me this is a SAGA, an EPIC, about a HERO, a LEGEND.... if it is all these things, how about SHOWING some of that?

  • Awesome movie......

  • The magnitude of the Arjun's endeavors needed someone to dream big .. really big.. and it looks this movie aims to do exactly that with some deviations though.

  • hey is this movie released or not?

  • I really really really want to see this movie on big screen!!! Does anyone have the foggiest clue when it's coming on?

  • good

  • somebody plz save me from this brat called Ganeshadevotee!

  • awsome fatte movie waiting for it ............

    want to see legend soonnn

  • when this movie is going to be released??

  • also read ayodhya kanda chapter 84

this is where guha welcomes bharat to have sweet meats and honey.

  • @anirudhkrishnamani Sweetmeats are candies dumbass!

  • @Ganeshadevotee

    OMG!

    LEAVE ME ALONE U BRATT!!

  • @Ganeshadevotee

i knopw what sweetmeat is you bloody motherfucker!

    it said sweet meats!

    it read mamsa YOU ASSHOLE!

  • @anirudhkrishnamani Yeah right. Just like how you "Know" Rama ate meat

  • @Ganeshadevotee

    leave me alone..

i don't want to argue with a retard

  • @anirudhkrishnamani I refuse to leave you alone until you stop posting blasphemous comments on this video. And I you report me, I will report you for calling a fourteen year old boy a retard, asshole etc. And who do you think they will believe?

  • @anirudhkrishnamani I refuse to leave you alone until you stop posting blasphemous comments on this video. And if you report me, I will report you for calling a 14 year old kid a retard, asshole etc. and who do you think they will believe?

  • @Ganeshadevotee

as long u leave me alone u prick.

but whatever u may say rama ate beef.

  • @anirudhkrishnamani See? Smart comments like that wont make me leave you alone. All you have to say is "Leave me alone please" and get of this video. No need to call me a prick. Also, stop saying Rama ate beef. You have made your false ideals quite clear

  • @Ganeshadevotee Everyone knows Rama wasn't a Vegetarian..because Rama was born as a Kshatriya, a warrior and One of the important chapter of Ramayana, The Kuga or Kughan, chapter states Rama ate fish dipped with honey which was presented by his devotee. This chapter comes even in a 6th std kid school book and everyone knows it..and if you want to stick on to strict colouration, go buy Amar Chitra katha and read..be happy people take interest and belief in god & show it 2 hours ago

  • @anirudhkrishnamani Rama only hunted and killed animals which were actually heavenly beings under curses. That is in kindergarten books. Look it up

  • @Ganeshadevotee

there is a saying: kill to eat or from being eaten.

what your saying is that rama was a sadist who liked killing animals for fun

which is really a bigger sin.

the person who eats the remains has not wasted the animals life.

abt kindergarten book... this shows that even little children know that ram ate meat then.. boy r u so immature.

ask your mom and dad to read the ramayana(unedited & original) for u and ask them if ram was vegetarian.

    so please leave me alone.

  • @anirudhkrishnamani Oh, so you think liberation is a sin. No wonder you don't like God!

  • @anirudhkrishnamani In the Ramayana it states that Rama killed animals which were heavenly beings under curses. He killed them to liberate them from their pitiful forms. I know you hate God, but nothing you say will change what has already happened

  • @Ganeshadevotee

i love lord rama more than any other thing in this filthy world.

i love him even though he ate meat.

i love rama unconditionally regardless of what he did.

  • @anirudhkrishnamani If you really loved the lord you wouldn't make up so much lies about him

  • exact verses from ramayana which shows that rama ate meat.

    ayodhya kanda chapter no. 20 verses 17 & 18

  • anirudhkrishnamani & Ganeshadevotee's SAGA continues.....Veg Vs Non-Veg!!!

hehe just joking guys, dont take it serious! ;)

  • @iamvegeta2008 Hehe. Thanks for noticing.

  • @iamvegeta2008

    hehe! XD

  • Rama is a divine being that only eats vegetarian food.

Especially, he did not eat beef since that is cow and since the cow is a sacred animal of krishna and rama and krishna are forms of vishnu, rama would never eat meat, especially the cow.

this is 2 agains one so back of non-believer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @sadfasdf84 thanks for the support. This guy is impossible!

  • @sadfasdf84

you can read the original ramayana.

there rama tells vali that meat eating people will kill animals and there are five types of five nailed animals which humans can kill and eat.. so this proves that he ate meat(it also inculdes monkeys).

  • @anirudhkrishnamani The original Ramayana was written 4000 years ago, so you couldn't have read it. You are a lier posing as a false prophet leave this video and go back to your beef eating you motherfucking asshole

  • i'm 23

  • Why does he look chinese?

  • Illiteracy and religious fanaticism are two biggest diseases of modern India, and evidently here we have a not so bright specimen of it. Name calling wont do any good my friend, you will always get the worse of it. :-)

  • Haha, question..how do you think one can 'pose' as a Hindu, is there a particular dresscode, or hair do? If there is please do keep me posted. Myself and all my posing, scheming, fraud hindu friends will be enlightened. If it comforts you in any way I am a vegetarian, so consumption of any meat is rather not an option for me. However I have spend an amount of my time on proper education of myself, so I approach a concept with objctivity

  • What is this? A tennis match? What did I lose exactly? The biggest fault we commence when we criticise an epic is we try to view it from our own point of view or to be more precise, from the point of view of our own age. We must remember consumption of meat and wine was essential social practice back then. There is nothing wrong with that, its a practice of nobility. One example, when Hanuman visits Sita, he informs her that Rama due to her absence has stopped eating deer meat.

  • And at any rate why my religion or my nationality would matter when I read and try to understand the epics. They are quintessential part of global history and literature.....my birth right.

  • Eh???????? How do you know I am not a Hindu? Divine revealation?? Must be. Either way if it offers your narrow minded mentality a light of orginilaity Ganesh, I am a Hindu. Just tidy more open minded than you. Either way I agree with Anrudh, that discussion with someone like you is pointless. Just a suggestion, free your mind from the ropes of age eold believes and try thinking of the epics with creative and pragmatic thoughts.

  • Tremendous.........

  • In vedic era Indra was the main god as we can see in Rig veda. As I sid the divinity attached to Rama and Krishna happens much later due to Bhakti tradition. The idea of Sita knowing the deer is a demon is absolutely ridiculous, and have to say humorous. Its nothing but failed try at over simplification of the epics.

  • Who is saying that consumption of wine and meat is sin? It was the way the society was back then, hunting, waging war, death in battle field, honour....Kshatriya dharma. Even beef was in the menu back then. If we do put chronologically the proceedings of Ramayana before Mahabharata, and take them as historical accounts, then it puts the timeline of Rama very into Vedic age.

  • it was never released :(

  • But you are right though, Kshatriyas did ate meat and drunk wine. In Khandav dahaan Parva, it is shown the Draupadi and Subhadra dancing intoxicataed and there are svral mentions of drinking among friends like Krishna, Arjuna or Karna Duryodhona. Back in those days remember people, like most other cultures, were natural phenonmenon worshippers, i.e. rain, wind, fire, water etc. The divinity which we find now in Krishna and Rama comes from Bhakti tradition which chronologically happens much later

  • So? Jesus drank wine as well yet Christians say he was sinless, thus it can be inferred that drinking wine is not a sin if you apply that logic to it

  • @Ganeshadevotee Drinking wine is NOT a sin to Christians, that is a common misconception in fact we always drank wine on sundays at church when I was growing up a Chrisitan. But, I am not a Chrisitian anymore.

  • @Royak I never said it was. I said that Jesus drank wine and he is sinless to christians so drinking wine is not a sin if looked at from that point of view

  • @Royak

don't argue with this idiot he is completely demented..

this guy does'nt even know that jesus had meat and drank wine just like rama.

  • Why does someone has to be an Indian to read and analyze the epic? It is not only the greatest literature of the world but also an essence of history. And everyone has the right to look back into the history and try finding his/her own answers. Beowulf, the norse epic, is taught in English honors around India, so by your calculation, we shouldnt read it? Or Illiad, shouldnt we vn touch it becausee it is other country's 'property'?

  • arjun was a muslim actually

  • nice

  • OMG!!!!! MY NAME IS ARJUN!

  • Mind Blowing

Who has done the animation for this? Anyone knows? It's awesome man . Looks like it will be a 2010 release.

  • i wonder why non of the people have "sindoor or thilak" on the foreheads ???

they all look like Siamese people ...

    wats wrong with the animators?

why cant u guys jus put a red dot on their foreheads ?

  • awesome stuff

  • in mahabharata its written that arjuna shot the fish seeing its refection but its not been mention that its on a wooden wheel or anything thats .... in the serial mahabharata, it has shown all about these wooden wheel u r talking about.....in this film i think arnab is trying to keep his own point of view in the movie....every director has his own way of directing and giving a new point of view to the viewer... film.....cheers to arnab

  • really awesome.

  • trailer seems to be awesome. the idea of presentation. next time if possible do research on mahabharata from ashvathama point of view. it shows the lord krishna in negative role. and if u'll study this concept u'll find it true.

  • damn i would love to see this, hope they complete this within this year.

  • when is it going to release??its already 2009 and about to over.. Is it only trailer or indeed anime movie??

  • guys... on this yrs asifa event they showed 2 more scenes of the movie..... it was really amazing... the animation, characters dialogues... an theres 1 chariot scene..... man tats really hot... this movie gotta do sum revolt in indian animation i tell ya...

  • seems like its going to be excellent. Cant wait to see.

  • someone should make an animated trilogy of the Mahabharata war, with Krishna in it too. that would be tremendous.

  • the great warrior.

  • this film really seems to be good.

i have very much expectations from this.

i'll pray, it'll work in India.

  • but when is it going to b released??? Any idea??

  • i hope it'll release next year.

  • wow....arnab i really want to c the whole movie soon...... well wishes for making this film....regards sayantan...

  • I wanna watch this!!! Damn it looks nice!

  • This movie looks good, but is extremely inacurate

  • In what manner are you telling that its inaccurate !!

  • First of all, Arjuna did not shoot a real fish. Second, he shot a wooden fish rotating on a wheel with five arrows by seeing its image in a mere pot of water

  • i agree with you brother but how can you be so sure that the movie wants to show the same thing ?? This could be the one of the moments of Arjun's life.... That is why in the beginning of the trailer they have showed us that many ppl are gathering for a kinda competition.. okay anyways do you know when is it going to b released??

  • I dont know when it will be released, but even if It depicted another event in Arjunas life it would still be inaccurate because Arjuna, a follower of Sanatan Dharma, would never kill another organism, in this case the fish, unless they attacked him first and he had no other choice but to fight back.

  • Hey brother i don't know these much... i haven't seen Mahabharata from first to last episodes, so can tell you anything more then that..... By the way thanks for these info abt Arjuna. i ll find it on Google. bye thanks

  • doesn't the Mahabharata show Arjuna and the other Pandavas hunting?

  • No, they never hurt an animal in their lives exept when they did so in self defense. Even though they could hunt they didnt because it was so sinful

  • @Ganeshadevotee have u read the mahabharat, he killed the fish.

  • Comment removed

  • @Ganeshadevotee it was real!!!!!!!!!

  • No, he shot a wooden fish. Why would he kill a living creature for no reason, even if he was a kshatria

  • all kshatrians were non-vegetarians and wer hunters as well, including rama.

so they didn't have much of remorse for animals.

    source:Ramayana,Mahabharata

  • Yes, but in the Mahabharata it clearly states that Arjun shot a wooden fish and since Rama is the surpreme lord, when he kills animals he is actually liberating them

    Source:Ramayana,Mahabharata

  • true about the wooden fish but still Rama even ate meat and drank wine like any other Kshatriya.

all Kshatriyas ate non-veg infact we hindus were even consuming beef it was in the gupta period that we stopped having beef.

but b4 that it was Krishna who stopped the consumption of beef.

    sources:Ramayana,Bhagavatam

  • If you are looking at it from a historical point of view then maybe, but from a religious point of view, Hinds never ate cows and even kshatrias who were allowed to eat meat would still be sinning,. Also Rama only ate fruit, roots and vegitables

    Sources:Ramayana, Narsimha purana

  • nope rama hunted and ate as well..

    do some research on ramayana

  • btw you are saying this probably because you are a brahmin.

even seeta loved deer meat thats why she asked rama to go hunt for it.

  • @anirudhkrishnamani once again i am a hindu caste has no importance to me ... hahahaha you know anyone can make up stories ... only a few can back it up with proof ... you will make a good story teller ...

  • whatever it is you are an american and thats it..

you aren't an indian so please keep your mouth shut..

    btw

everybody knows that Kshatriya always had meat and drank wine.

  • @anirudhkrishnamani

hahah... why are you getting defensive ... lol ... i m Indian and i don't need someone with superficial knowledge about the Ramayana or Hindu religion to tell me i am not... you can't provide a single reference to back your statement up and you get mad when someone challenges your view ... seems to me like you don't want to fact reality ..

  • Actually, I don't care about the caste system. Frankly, I wouldn't care whether I am a bramin(Which I am not) or an untouchable. Sita asked Rama to CHASE a deer not hunt it, because she wanted it as a pet. The reason she asked Rama to shoot it if he was unable to catch it is because being an incarnation of Lakshmi, she could see that the deer was actually a demon in disguise.

  • I don't care whether I am bramhin(Which I am not) or an untouchable. Sita asked Rama to capture the deer alive so she could have it as a pet. Read more carefully next time you decide to turn our religion into a pissing match OK?

  • but rama ate meat period!

    read the ramayana carefully..

when he does say that any meat eating person will kill animals indiscriminately when he kills bali..

read the scriptures.. if u don't believe me i can show you the exact verses from the ramayana which says this..

  • @Ganeshadevotee

hehe this proves your extremely narrow minded..

give me one proof of lord rama being vegetarian.

in the original valmiki ramayana it does say that he ate meat.. end of discussion!

i will not argue any further as there is no point in arguing with a person having a blocked mind.

  • give me proof that he DID eat meat. The reason you wont argue further is because you cant. Face it man, you lost. Just because you pose as a Hindu doesn't mean that you are. or maybe you are a Hindu but you are trying to convince yourself that the lord ate meat so that you can eat beef. Take your pick. Jai shri Rama

  • @Ganeshadevotee

    you fool!

    i proved it to you!

    TWICE!

    u're an idiot for sure.

  • @anirudhkrishnamani proved what? that you dont know what you are talking about? just because you write meat and Ramayana as your sources does not prove anything exept that you are blowing off steam.

  • @anirudhkrishnamani Also, in the Ramayana it clearly states that while Rama was in the forest he sustained himself on vegetables, fruits and roots only. If you think that Lord Rama ate meat, the Ramayana you were reading is probably written by some westerner who thinks they know something about Hinduism

  • @Ganeshadevotee

I AM NOT INTERESTED IN ARGUING WITH AN IDIOT!

    PLZ LEAVE ME ALONE!

    I BEG YOU!

    GO AWAY!

  • @anirudhkrishnamani You sound like a girl. Do you even have a penis? You probably want to convince yourself that Rama ate beef so you can put your boyfriends meat in YOUR mouth

  • @Ganeshadevotee

    oh wow!

i never knew that ganesha's devotees speak like this!

  • @anirudhkrishnamani How can you reprimand me for using language when your username has the word KRISHNA in it, yet you accuse your lord of eating meat?

  • @anirudhkrishnamani Face it, you are as bad a sinner as me. In fact, accusing the lord of eating meat is ten times worse than any profanity I can write down

  • @Ganeshadevotee

    OMG!

JUST LEAVE ME ALONE YOU PSYCHO!

  • @anirudhkrishnamani I will leave you alone if you stop accusing my lord of eating beef on this video

  • @Ganeshadevotee

fact is fact if u like it or not so fuck off!

  • @anirudhkrishnamani WOW! you are cursing and blaspheming the lord? Man, you are going to hell for sure!

  • @anirudhkrishnamani And its a fact that Rama was a vegetarian so FUCK off! If you want to make fun of of our God, do it in your head you beef eating fucker.

  • @anirudhkrishnamani Rama was a vegetarian whether you like it or not, so fuck off.

  • @Ganeshadevotee

    whatever asshole.. leave me alone!

  • @Ganeshadevotee

if you have the slightest self respect you won't answer back.

  • @Ganeshadevotee

    hhahahahahaaa!!

    your just 14?? LOL!

no wonder your arguing like a child! hehehe!

but your views seem to be like an orthodox hindu priest hehehehehehehe!!!

  • @anirudhkrishnamani Hehe, yeah, isn't it awkward that a 14 year old is beating you in a debate? Also, if Rama ate meat then how come he is a VEGETARIAN?

  • @anirudhkrishnamani Do you have any self respect? I mean, to feel good about yourself, you have to argue with a 14 year old. Speaking of which, are you a pedophile? maybe that is why you want to convince others that Rama ate meat. So you can put your meat into little boys mouthes

  • @Ganeshadevotee

    hehehe

its okay kiddo run home to your mama cuz u just proved u really lack self respect.

now plz leave me alone u punk!

  • @anirudhkrishnamani Just because you get drunk and debate children on youtube does not make you God you self righteous asshole.

  • @Ganeshadevotee

hehe i'm really enjoying this argument now.

    u're really dumb.. wow!

hehe your so narrow minded for a 14 year old.. hahaha i can't imagine.

  • @Ganeshadevotee

i hope u learned that whatever u may say i'm not going to change my opinion on lord rama eating beef.

    so lets end with this..

  • @anirudhkrishnamani And I hope you realize that I will not change my opinion that Rama was a vegetarian. It says That he is vegetarian in in the versions of the Ramayana that I have read. Look it up dumbass

  • @Ganeshadevotee

    LEAVE ME ALONE U MOTHERFUCKER!

  • if you can't accept lord rama eating meat then your extremely narrow minded.

many great spiritual leaders were non-vegetarian for eg: vivekananda, ramakrishna paramhamsa, jesus, buddha etc.

even now in temples like kamakya the pandas eat meat infact buffalo meat i've seen it with my own eyes.if you don't beleieve me then go to guwahati and look for kamakya temple.

if you think non-vegetarianism is a sin then your being ignorant.

  • @anirudhkrishnamani once again i am not narrow minded ... spiritual leaders being meat eaters has nothing to do with this discussion ... besides if these spiritual leaders ate meat then it only reflects on their level of spirituality regardless of them being great or not .. for a Hindu eating meat is a sin period ... if you think it is not a sin then you are being narrow minded ... i dont care if the pandas eat meat ... they will be reborn as animals according to their karma ...

  • and lord rama did whatever he could to hide his divinity.

he came as a normal human mortal who cold feel pain, had anger and even went through depression.

he was like any other human.

but still we could see his divinity thanks to sage valmikhi.

  • @anirudhkrishnamani agree he incarnated as madhya purshottam ... and the devas revealed his divinity after he completed his mission ... i agree but that does not mean that he didn't remain within the tenets of dharma ...

  • but still there is a catch.. lord rama did not eat meat and honey(wine) when he was in exile.

as he was forbidden of any materialistic enjoyment.

  • @Ganeshadevotee agree !!!!

  • if you would be kind enough to give the exact reference to this it would be great because all Hindus regardless of caste are required to be vegetarian ...
