I don't understand how people can't figure this out.. Education is the key to keeping people away from hard drugs, not laws. Shit I can go get a bag of weed just as easy as I can go buy a six pack. I've never done hard drugs but I assume it's the same for all drugs. It was way easier for me to get weed when I was under 21 compared to getting alcohol. You have to ask someone over 21 to get it for you. To get pot all you have to do is text your dealer and go get it. There is no age limit.

In fact the constitution was re-drafted from "..persuit of property," to "..persuit of happiness," because they felt the south would interpret property to mean blacks. The laws basically treated blacks as property, so naturally the people used it to there advantage. What RP is saying is remove the law.

Any laws or regulations not defined by the constitution are left to the states to declare/decide and vote on. The federal gov has trampled the constitution for the last 70 years or more. SS, welfare, medicare etc are all unconstitutional based on the 10th amendment.

The way I see it is a lot of the perscription drugs that people use can be just as harmful and addicting as illegal drugs like heroin or crack. The only difference is you can't just walk into the ghetto and buy dangerous perscription drugs like you can with heroin.

Ron Paul is my favorite candidate in the presidential race. However, I think he much too often fails in his execution of articulating his viewpoint. Part of it is that he is just too damn old. If you look at videos of him in his younger years, he has much more power and command in debates and media appearances.
The youth of the country support Ron Paul's ideas, and it will come to fruition when the 18-30 year olds of today become our national leaders. We need a Ron Paul of a new generation.

@mtstatehk14090914 the reason segregation and discrimination existed was because the federal government passed laws (illegally) which went against the constitution. In fact the constitution was re-drafted from "..persuit of property," to "..persuit of happiness," because they felt the south would interpret property to mean blacks. The laws basically treated blacks as property, so naturally the people used it to there advantage. What RP is saying is remove the law.

Any laws or regulations not defined by the constitution are left to the states to declare/decide and vote on. The federal gov has trampled the constitution for the last 70 years or more. SS, welfare, medicare etc are all unconstitutional based on the 10th amendment.

If you don't like the things people are saying on a particular show you happen to be viewing, change the channel. etc, etc.. no one forced you to go to the bar, and most resturants had non smoking and smoking sections with well vented areas. try to stop being a control freak. ;)

Right, and people used to smoke on airplanes and in movie theaters and malls right next to little kids and use the same retarded logic. UNTIL reasonable people were like "wait a minute, if you want to breathe cancer causing carcinogens, be my guest, but you're not going to force others to breathe them as well." The way I see it is a lot of the perscription drugs that people use can be just as harmful and addicting as illegal drugs like heroin or crack. The only difference is you can't just walk into the ghetto and buy dangerous perscription drugs like you can with heroin.

All that criminalizing them would do is crowd our prison systems and more taxpayer money would be spent on them as a result. Perscription drugs can be just as dangerous and they are even advertized on tv. A lot of perscription painkillers are essentially a weaker version of heroin anyway.

Ron Paul is my favorite candidate in the presidential race. However, I think he much too often fails in his execution of articulating his viewpoint. Part of it is that he is just too damn old. If you look at videos of him in his younger years, he has much more power and command in debates and media appearances.
The youth of the country support Ron Paul's ideas, and it will come to fruition when the 18-30 year olds of today become our national leaders. We need a Ron Paul of a new generation.

This is a plea to all true Ron Paul fans. ONE If we truly want to convert Paul doubters, we have to conduct ourselves the way Paul does: calm, cool and with class. If we swear and call doubters stupid, it just pushes them away instead of bringing them in. It also allows the MSM to paint us as crazy, uneducated, fanatical zealots, and that hurt’s Paul’s campaign. Remember, we were once non-believers.

TWO If you’re like me, you fell in love with Paul’s message by actually listening to his speeches and interviews on YouTube. Doubter’s I talk to always quote the MSM and never seem to have seen his speeches and interviews. Therefore I propose a simple and effective strategy to get Paul’s message out in time to win the GOP nomination: Print out pages that read “YouTube Ron Paul, decide for yourself.” No exclamation point. Now tape them to your car window while parked or wherever else.
