I still have one Hit Records single from when I was 6 years old. It is "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" by the Cords & "The Sun Will Still Shine" by the Chellows. I know the first side was originally done by the Animals but I've never found out who originally did the second side.
@caa71661 I remember when I was 6 years old my parents getting me Hit records at the grocery store. Even though I was only 6 I thought it was weird getting records at a grocery store.

I used to get mine at Woolworth's! I also found them at drugstores in the record rack.

I got into these by finding them at thrift stores. Also there were other labels that did cover versions. It's really cool to listen to these tunes!
