I personally had some contact with the vocal of thie band "Tang Bo" few years ago,but now seems like everybody lost them :) haven't heard them for a while
I wanted to add, I'd be HONORED to tell YOUR STORY about the Rise of Rock & Roll in the Asian Underground. If you go to theactsofprovidence dot biz you'll find my contact information on the bottom. See, as much as I don't like to admit it the Growlers are everywhere, from Africa & Asia to Australia as well as the Americas too. It is not THE Trend but A Trend that I owe respects too. I release on Black Friday 2011. The offer is SERIOUS, THINK ABOUT IT! 谢谢-停留大 以及 岩石上
@paladomus - I want to APOLOGIZE to the Band so am glad you responded. Your VOX, she shocked me, that huge deep growl coming out of tiny little her... The BEST/DEEPEST of the Growlers in Asia & your audience LOVED her. The instrumental aspect of the tune ROCKED too. I was raised in & am in "The HOOD" of Seattle, the US Home of Jun Fan. I had my kids in Wing Chun Do the moment they were old enough to go. I do understand Cultural Differences so I THANK YOU again for your forgiveness.
It's not that I am being narrow minded, it is that I hear the Growl (as many call it) all of the time, it's not new to US over here. More of a thing that everyone has heard for about 20-years and kind of moved on. Your audience LOVED your VOX, I caught that but I am seeking more as yo may see in my blog... just go to My Space /therollingrochaus for starters. You may also see that I actually wrote kindly of Chinese Bands in particular!!!!! You hae STYLE & SOUL but are also capable of MORE!!!!
@THEACTSOFPROVIDENCE I agree, VOX is lame. Though I don't agree that everyone has heard it. It's just a recent fad that hit China. They're catching up man... lol. I would say if they came out with this 20 years ago, they would have been pretty popular.
Also, the Chinese language is a pretty soft-spoken language. It's difficult to find a good voice for this type of music. There are some good ones though, but haven't really come across any superb singers. Who knows, there are over a billion people in China. I don't think Mao would have allowed such music to enter his country during his reign... lol.
Man, the Best Chinese Band so far then came that GROWL-COOKIE MONSTER VOX/I won't call it "Singing" because it sux that much to me. If you can think of a Chinese Band with a REAL SINGER - I'm in the middle of making a Worldwide Rockumentary film - but I won;t use a VOX like the one you hve. The Sound sold for SLAYER about 20-years ago - Think ABout It and GOOD LUCK!!!!
@THEACTSOFPROVIDENCE You're too much narrow-minded about vocals to make a rockumentary. It would reflect to much your own preconceived thoughts. I hope it'll never get out, until you open your mind :P
@THEACTSOFPROVIDENCE While I'm not a big fan of the growling vocal style either, I must admit this is a very talented band nonetheless. For non-growling, I know of a Chinese band called Silver Ash & they're a fave of mine (singer Ling's voice is lovely. : ) Ironically, Silver Ash has a song titled Lunar Eclipse.

I'm impressed. Most of the metal bands I've been hearing from China are "Mehh" to say the least. But this wraps up really nicely.

@heyZeck What a pity. I noticed that they had many line-up changes, but I didn't know they have split up

it comes to my mind that some parts sound like they were stolen from moonsorrow ?
Good music anyway.

very interesting. it does sound a little bit like pagain/viking metal like moonsorrow for example. maybe they are influenced by scandinavian bands.
