Saw them last night at The Liverpool Philharmonic (didn't play this, I don't think) and they were brill. Ian McCulloch and Ian Broudie sang an accoustic version of Bowie's 'Sorrow'. Magic!

It's so wierd.I start remembering the Lightning seeds and look up a couple of tracks to remind me of how good they were,just when I'd almost forgotten them and they seemed to have been consigned to history they pop up with a new album! This is wierd and seems to happen to me quite a lot,Ithink about something I havn't thought about in ages and a few weeks later.....It's like a wierd sort of deja vu,seems to happen a lot these days.Getting wierded out by it actually.

I remember 95, working as a dispatchie and an afterwork conversation at the pub with our dispatch manager and a few of the other riders the jist of which was,"so Blur or Oasis"to which I replied Lightening Seeds and got a laugh and agreement from everyone,even the Londoners who generally hate scousers and geordies.Jollification was great,particularly this and open goals.
