@RayGettings Check our website, we've got an L82 Pace that just came in with 16,000 miles (undocumented) in that same price range. Really nice car BTW, we have a full set of photos on there as well. Also just got in a 78 Silver Anniversary with 92 actual miles that should be on the website later today or tomorrow.
@silentpounce When was the car appraised and by whom? We just sold the nicest 78 Pace I had ever seen (NEVER EVER driven EVER, 5 original miles, stickers still in it) for mid-$30s.
my grandma has one of these sitting in her barn. It's been there for the last 8 years, and every year i try and get her to sell it to me. I think this might be the year, i really freaking hope so...
Correct me if im wrong but didn't the 1978 corvette pace car come only with a L-82/350 engine which delivers 220 horse? Because you mentioned 185 horse and only the stock anniversary L-48 '78 corvettes delivered 185 horse....??? unless its a pace car "replica"?...
Built April 21, 1978 - two days before I was born! I've always thought it would be nice to have a '78 Limited Edition Vette, just to mark my birth year.
Thankfully, there seems to be no shortage of very well kept examples.
Yep, I don't see there ever being a problem getting a hold of a low mileage 78 Pace -- they build 6,500 of them, and it seems that at least half of them got put away in storage by the original owners.
I've watched a number of videos these guys have posted simply because I'm a Vette fan. Owned 4 during my youth. The C3 is my fav, and If I was to buy another Vette, I'd buy from these guys. I've said before as great as Corvette Mike is, these guys are serious competition. Good Luck.
Great looking Vette! Even if it wasn't the fastest model built, it's still a great cruiser car. Plus it gives a people chance to own a Corvette without having to pay big money for it.
@Elixr9 Nope....it's still there :(

@huntnbux Uh yeah, I'd jump on that. Pace Cars are probably the most valuable out of all the 1978-82 Corvettes.

@legit41 Nope -- there were no restrictions Pace Car engines. Many of them were base L48 cars.
