Very helpful instructions - love how the baby giggles as he's being put on. Just pleeease don't tie straps in a bow - it's not safe! Always tie top and bottom mei tai straps in a secure square knot. You can tie any leftover strap length into a bow on *top* of the knot, but a bow on it's own is not a good idea.
No way would your baby fall out. People have been using these asian style carriers for thousands of years. Wraps are wonderful for smaller babies, but mei tais so much easier than wraps for older babies and toddlers who want to get down frequently. Give it a try. I know you'll be a convert!

yes however if it were me, i would bring it around the front and tie. too easy for a toddler to pull !
