However, if you really want a challenge, try fighting through Arcade mode vs All Gold characters. Then beat order sol

I haven't been able to do that yet, I was doing great until I reached boss Gold I-No, then I managed to get a game over. Boss characteristics stacking over standard gold characteristics makes for an insanely difficult fight on Maniac. I never actually killed Boss I-No, I won by time out every single time. She regenerates her HP faster than I could damage her!

214K. Look at your number pad on your keyboard. That's motion you would make: Down, Down-left, Left otherwise known as 214.

For Gold/Boss Order Sol, you have to have 50% Tension and input: 214214S. Only Gold/Boss Order Sol can do this.

this is hardly an awesome sol. the sidewinders are all about the timing and you're trying to combo too hard into them. too many hits and they'll go above the clean hit line. try more hits to lift them up when you start into a 16 beat. other than that keep trying man

It also helps to watch videos of some of the best Sol players in Japan like 012, Isa, and P.C. Watch what they do and try to replicate it. It'll take a lot of time and practice to be as good as them.

Time release = Unlocking things by how long you've been playing the game. Pretty much just sit in Training mode without pausing it and wait hours on end to unlock stuff.

Gold Sol/I-NO are straight out difficult

Gold Zappa's infinite Roau is totally cheap

But the worse IMO is Gold Slayer, who's basically God as he restores health with every hit he does to you. And he can survive a Gold Johnny Mist finer.

Most of the golds are scary. In general, I worry more when fighting the Gold versions of I-no, Slayer, and Sol, due to their insane healing <_<. Of course, that is not to say IK specials (Johnny) or infinite Raul are not.

It's difficult to nail down an absolutely effektive means of beating a healer. rush them and you'll fall into a Rape trap, take it slow and they regenerate adn you'll lose by default. toughie, bu tdoable

Normally, he wouldn't do that much damage. In his Gold form, his attack, defense, and speed is increased dramatically. He can also regenerate health and his Charge Gauge slowly increases.

Best plan on beating most Gold characters is this:

- knockdown

- dash in low kick/standing kick(if they backdash, they get tagged with the second hit of the kick

- rinse and repeat

Just think of it as a matter of luck as opposed to skill, since the CPU isn't really utilizing its tension use properly.

It depends on what character you unlocked for their Shadow/Gold color. I did it via time release; leaving my PS2 on for a long time with saves in between. I'm not good enough to get very far in Survival. The farthest I got was Level 440.

It's a time release unlockable. You first need GG and GGX modes unlocked. After you get those, you need to unlock all the characters EX forms. Then you need to unlock the Shadow/Gold characters and after every hour from there, you will unlock a Slash/#Reload stage.
