Legendary group. Never got to see them live. Bought the album and lived and worked in their Manor. The estate this was filmed on was the legendary Cathal Road and Hollydown Way Estate in Leytonstone, pulled down in the late 90's replaced by shoebox houses. I lived on this estate, and was its milkman as well for about 10 years, made some bloody good friends there. Long live the 'East London Sound!"
Possibly played or heard this tune several thousand times over the years (as it's one of the all-time great UK Hip-Hop tunes!) but NEVER saw this video before. BIG props for the upload!!
The sad thing is that they never get a prestigious enough mention when there is a uk hip hop retro..saw em about 10 times, they rocked the phoenix festival back in the day supported the chumbas as did credit..blow away hardcore hip hop 3 blindin albums god knows how many singles incredible live show rix played with his feet once if i remember
I shot/directed/edited this vid. on an old hi 8 for about 800 quid with Douglas Hart (mary chain)....the mic. was broken on the cam so any lip sync. was by eye...great tune, great vid...Carl x
Classic tune! Bring back the hardcore!

Why did the urban English sound go from this dense, energetic, interesting sound to the boring, thin, gay-disco sound of "UK Garage"?

Proper British hip-hop. When British hip-hop had real edge and originality. Not like now.

...Love this video, I saw it on Snub TV when it came out
but I've been playing this out and on radio since I got it.
From the intro from Deathwish to the rock breaks over
RustyBryant's FireEater drum break-Crackin'.
If anyone Diggin is for this then may I suggest either
Ebay or Suspect Packages website, Enjoy!
