  • I have transcribed this part in Musescore and I have a PDF of it.. If you want it Inbox me and I will send you the DL Link for it so you can print it. =)

  • Does anyone know where I can find this for piano? Please help me.

  • Damn wish I could play this high, started trumpet a week ago can play mary had a little lam and dredle song AND hot cross buns :) #givemepraise

  • @markus122piesuckers those were the first songs i lerned along with twinkle twinkle little star... no one liked my twinkle twinkle little star

  • Have been playing for 9 years....haven't played for about 6 months and I mastered the beginning and end, just that middle part that's got me right now lol

  • I can't play this! I'm giving up and and taking up smoking again....

  • I must say, it doesnt matter at all how high you can play if you don't have a good tone. Good tone is what makes music along with the range of expression, feeling, phrases, and dynamics. One cannot play beautifully without knowing how to be a great musician first. =)

  • I've played for about 1 1/2 year's and my range is low g to high c#.

    just practice

  • Also there is a huge difference between the notes you can hit and the notes you can use. I can "play" an E above high C (the one above the staff), but it sounds awful, as do quite a few notes below it.

  • @BobkerYa Thats exactly where am at in range too

  • More feeling! Lol.

  • Guys it shouldn't matter how high you can play a note were all fellow band members ( I hope ) I'm a trumpet player at galaxy middle school . I'm in symphonic band and it shouldn't matter how high you can play it but how good it sounds so stop bragging and go practice :)

  • OMG thx ive been looking for this for a while now!!!

  • I'm a sophomore and I can play... The D above high C, if that counts for anything? :P At least I'm honest, haha.

  • @steamypancakes

thats pretty good I'm a soph too and I can hit that and a little higher but after the C-D area it starts to sound really bad.

  • can u send the link where u found this at.

  • Why can't you send it? I have Finale if that's it

  • dangit, i can;t play that high...

  • Im a sophmore in Jazz and you guys cant possibly be that good in middle school....there is just no way...and the note that you guys "say" you can hit are not even close to the level you are supposed to be playing...also i started playing in 9th grade. and im at a D above the staff...

  • @lxXParanoidXxl Its a program

  • When i was 2, i was able to play the quintuple H.

  • @halo3masterchieff Oh my god, that was so funny and unique!!!!! Definitely deserves three comments

  • @halo3masterchieff You do realize that in German notation that is equivalent to the B two octaves above Super B, right?

  • im in 8th grade playing 2 years top region band in 7th grade, high E above staff no it wasnt some crappy squeak either it had q

good tone and quality to it

  • The comments = Bunch of liars.

  • Great you guys, you can play play really high notes but it doesn't matter unless the note actually sounds good

  • I could play a quad C when I was 7. I'm better than you.

  • wen i was in 6th i been playing for 3 months i was playing the high c

  • @TheAlton5151 woopty fuckin doo i was originally a trumpet player of 5 years and learned how to play concert frenchorn, mellophone and marching french horn in less than a week.

  • i m in tenth and i can play a high Bb above the high c above the staff (:

  • Triple d 10th

  • Doesn't a B flat trumpet only go up to a high G? How should I play the A?

  • @daxter956 A Bb trumpet has no set highest note. High A is fingered 1 2.

  • @daxter956 I am in the 10th grade and can play a D above the staff.... comon bro

  • @AnacondaAndDavis I'm in the 8th grade, And haven't played in 3 months, also, my technique book doesn't show above G :/

  • @AnacondaAndDavis im in 9th grade and i can play above D above the staff :D im proud of myself, you should be proud of yourself too

  • the tempo should be just a wee bit slower

  • @k3njk ya the high a I can hit but dnt miss the b natural

  • im going to transpose it french horn! thanks! i'll post it here too

  • this is so helpful. thank you mothamaster!

  • @shortijodi8D E minor relative to G Major for Bb trumpet - Concert D minor relative to Concert F Major for all C instruments :)

  • The French horn transposition would have all the notes up 5 notes or down 7 I'm not really sure what is a better horn range but im very good with music theory

  • @bens1325 YESSS PLEASE DO!

  • @bens1325 I play both trumpet and french horn. I would say down 7 would be better.

  • i can hit all the notes it's sounds pretty good if you ask me =) just takes practice that's all

  • THANKS A LOT !! Gonna do a drum + trumpet cover of this =D

  • Is this possible to play on horn?

  • ah my nemesis the A ive been playing fo a year and that damn A still alludes me.

  • @gayhorseseathaaay same, started trumpet last year and im still having trouble hitting that high A

  • @K3nJx Do exercises. It only took me like a week to get it. Before, I could only hit an F with a good quality sound, But now I can do a B.

  • I still can't hit a high C on trumpet

  • I'm soooo glad the soprano sax is in Bb too...

  • @guralnikownz i agree with cradley51, its alot more difficult. correct me if i'm wrong but as far as i know it would take the same amount of air to produce the high notes as it would to the low notes on alto sax

  • Where is the refrain?

  • if at all possible would you please transpose for euphonium?

  • @Xavier315 if u just read it like bass clef music itll come out sounding right cuz i did it with a trombone and it sounds good. you just have to listen and know where to put in flats.

  • @Xavier315 it is in the C scale then move all the notes up two lines

  • Do you have any other trumpet music

  • @mmlhudson97 what other instrument would you play it on? piano? if yo did of course it's harder on trumpet... or if you used a wood-wind they extremely easy...

  • copy it to noteworthy composer 2 heh great for making sheet music you need a bit of music experience for the terms though

  • This a lot more difficult on trumpet

  • @a11438 do you think its possible for a 7th grade girl whos only been playing trumpet for 2 years be able to play this? i really badly wanna learn how to play this!

  • @TwiTwi100 try and you will find out. If you keep practicign then why not? I am a 7th grade boy that plays alto sax, I just play these same notes on sax.

  • I can get this and I'm only a sophomore in high school. Pretty easy to pick up.

  • THANK YOU!

  • how do you play the high b?

  • @fiveminuteweatherx3 first finger is bflat, 2nd finger is b natural and just make them high.

  • thats so kewel

  • @Jpyfferroen If you're having problems with the e and up, I suggest opening your throat a but more, almost like your singing; and dropping your lower jaw a tad.

  • aah too high!

but i'll work on it. (:

  • I can't get the really high notes which really sucks.

  • anyone know what the graces notes are between the e flat and the d at the end of the phrase before the d g g g....

  • What program is this

  • If It sounds wrong in a few places it is because it was made on a computer and run through a midi engine. It will not sound like a real trumpet nor have the "soul" of the music when you actually play it. When it is played during the song he adds trills and a few more grace notes. That's for you to figure out though. have fun.

  • Good post, an easy fix to not having the patience to figure it out by ear.

  • blowing air isnt really something your practice, how long you hold out a note depends on how well you can hold your breath, i can hold mine for a good 24 beats (6 measures in 4/4) but its A LOT harder to play lower than higher. so you should have an even harder time playing low notes. but that doesnt mean playing it is impossible. if you can hold each note in a E major scale (second octave) for 4 beats it shouldnt be hard to hold out notes

  • I am the only one smart enough to figure out how to get this on to sheet music without receiving it from the person who posted the video

  • screen shot

  • That's what I did.

  • Probably. . .

  • Your the only one smart enough? Well explain to all of us this... why are you even watching, let alone commenting on this video? I don't know about you, but doesn't seem like an intelligent use of your time.

  • yes you are, now can u give it to me?

  • @enVme731 maxass123 was right a screen shot. and BTW it was sarcasm. i thought that was an easy answer to getting the sheet music..

  • Where did you get this? Did you make it? It seems wrong at :19 and :24. I may be wrong though.

  • @kingtuna96 so am i, this is a every easy solo though, and to hit those high notes, just tighten up your lips when your playing, the tighter the higher you go. and DO NOT push the mouthpiece so that its tight on your lips, thats just very painful

  • @bobgobleep i really dont find it very easy because i have a problem tounging at high notes... any pointers?

  • an easy way to be able to play is to start off from a lower note with the same valves as the one high note your playing (example: your trying to play a high A or third octive i think, start off from the low A, or first octive. and work your way up from E, A, C#, Db, then they A) it helps a lot when trying to get them.

  • ....C# is the same as Db....

  • @Nick930930 no, there are very close but not exact.

  • @Nick930930 no the are not. they are very close, but not the same.

  • @bobgobleep c# is the same note as Db . I promise. they are exactly the same tone.

  • @earljohncutterthe3rd oo sorry i thought you said D# for some reason

  • Nice, Love This solo...

  • Does anyone know the notes for Alto Saxophone

  • @clannerX there is no alto sax in this song..

  • I vote we learn how to spell baritone first, then we can discuss embochures. Thank you.

  • is this a midi file

  • Comment removed

  • i am going to learn it and then show off on my cornet!!! i thank u very much for the notes!!!

  • DH Smoke is right. do lip slurs. and all it takes is for you to put that trumpet to your face to build range! im a sophomore and i was really surprised when i could play an F above the staff (not on it) i strongly recommend lip slurs!! i promise you it pays off!

  • @dcantera12 you don't push the trumpet into your face, you increase the air flow and speed to hit high notes. and I doubt that the F was in tune at all. I'm going to college next year and I can barely put a high E (off of the staff) in tune.

  • i love this solo

  • lol s many weak embouchures. Keep doing them lip slurs kiddies

  • thank you very much.i try it on my bariton

  • how would you do it on your baritone just convert the notes?

  • the controls are exactly the same, but the bariton is lower as the trumpet

  • Comment removed

  • @SinpsonsFan4Life no, they are both in treble clef, they can play the same notes, its just that the trumpet can go a little higher, not by much, but a little

  • i dont know if it's the right word i'm from germany

  • it also helps to move your eyebrows up as you try those higher notes, it naturally tightens your mouth

  • yea, your facial expression shouldn't change when your playing a low note or a high note. the only thing that matters is the airstream and how much air your putting through your horn

  • kingtuna96 Dont feel bad.. thats what I have trouble with 2... I can hit it just after a while it doesnt work anymore. and Im a sophmore so dont feel bad... wasnt really able to hit a "good" A in 8th soo dont feel bad

  • kingtuna the A is pretty easy on trumpet just tighten your lips and whan you hit a high note move your head up =]

  • Thats not teaching you anything. That's cheating. Just take a deep breath and try and it hit. If not, youll get it eventually. It really annoys the crap out of me when people move their heads up to play high notes.

  • Cheating? You are retarded.

  • Good job on the notes! But for it to be "more correctly" notated it should be in Cut time. The absolute correct notation of this solo would be to cut all the note values in half (change half notes to quarter notes, eighth notes to sixteenths, ect) and write it in 4/4 time. Just trying to help.

  • or you could put it in 4/2 time and take out every other bar line.

  • can u give me the sheet music or send it. pleeeeeeeeeeeese!

  • ive created my own varaition on the important part it goes Eigth notes: GGGG

    quarter: G Eigth: GAGFE

  • what program is that?

  • it looks like Finale.

  • I'm doing this on a mello :D

  • Wow should be no problem I'm only a freshman, but I know I can play this

  • Comment removed

  • What program did you use? and if you could... this might be a bit much but could u either send me some info on where to get this program or get the trumpet solo from Knights of Cydonia by Muse, been tryin to get that for weeks now o.o;;

  • its finale

  • played trumpet in middle school for two years now a senior in high school ima try this out, i can play it no prob though

  • ive played the trumpet for 1 and half years and i almost play this just having some trouble on the a's above the staff

  • Wouldn't be that hard to play, There are some higher notes in my All State Tryout Music, High D's and C's

  • im almost that good, still a little advanced for me though. thnx 4 the help

  • If you want the music, put YouTube in HD, then hit alt print screen (this takes a screen shot and adds it to your clip board) then open up paint and hit paste. Now use the select tool and just select the music. Hit copy then go into word, and paste it... you can now resize and print of the music (REALY GOOD QUALITY PRINT IN HD)

  • what is this website where you get this music or where do you get it!!!1

  • okay i can NOT play that. im not that good

  • THANK YOU SOO MUCH!!!!!

  • is there any way i can print this out

  • thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i think the beginning is a little messed up. not sure but i think its triplets instead of eight notes. but its good enough to play along with the recording after you get it

    gj thx

  • lol no dude its not triplets. The ending is the only part with triplets.

  • thanks a lot, there were some tricky parts to get down.

  • thanks so much!

  • take a screen shot and post it on myspace so we can print it

  • yes wat they said plzzzzzz i cant really see this stuff but tthanks any ways for putting it on here

  • put it in high definition and its much easier to see. The 3rd line tho for some reason is impossible to see some of the lines making it extremely difficult to sight read lol. But i got it down

  • Tempo was a little too fast....as far as people asking for the music....why don't you just pause the video and copy them down on manuscript paper?

  • hahah thts what i did :}

  • its kinda hard to read once the lines go away lol...

  • is this on smart music??

  • i am very much appreciative of u posting this! it helped me alot in learning this solo. Once again thank you!

  • what website did u find this at, please respond

  • i didnt find it on a website....i made it on finale note pad

  • hey, can you also send me a sheet? My band drirector has been dying to get the trumpet notes, hes a trumpet fanatic, so am i, and i really like this, can u send me a sheet? thanks.

  • that tempo was to fast

  • could u send me the sheet please!! Im pretty good but im terrible at transposing lol

  • What program did you use?

    Please send me a copy:)

  • hey dude do u think u could send this to me please? im pretty good but i want to expand my knowledge of music to play..

  • hey can u e-mail the sheet to me plzzz
