They're both good but here is my 2 cents. Daft Punk has been around for a long while and are considered legends in the genre of techno. deadmau5 hasn't reached that status to me especially if he is remixing Daftpunk's songs. Secondly Daftpunk has transcended the genre with the tron legacy soundtrack composing a score with an orchestra. Deadmau5 is amazing and I am making his helmet for halloween. But if you think he is better then the Daftpunk duo your fing retarded.
