"Yeah, yeah... Uh, well, we can tackle the question about the pronunciation in a second."
Such pomposity from such a nerdy little twerp. You'd think he would be grateful that someone wanted to interview him at all, rather than saying, "No, you dunce. You're butchering the languages! And that's my job!"
@WalkingHazy I'm sure that he is grateful. He has to be. What I should have said is that his gratitude ought to have been enough to stop his pompous, "I'm an author and this is my world, so respect it" mentality from coming out. He just needs to bite his tongue.
It's like if you're at someone's house and they cook you dinner, and you say, "Yeah, nice try. But it could use more ginger and basil. And you call this a red wine reduction? Please..."
I'm rereading the trilogy before Inheritance comes out and I have completely skipped a lot of nasuadas chapters. I just don't care for her like I do for eragon and roran
@dekead same only i skipped most of rorans chapters aswell after the first read =| definately gunna read them all in full again before november 8th though =D
i honestly really like the movie but, i think they need to remake it they missed out on important events and characters, which means if the 2nd comes out with orik, elva and they are there talking about the blessing and stuff like that, people who haven't read the book are going to be saying "what the heck are they talking about?"
I was rereading the eragon series for the 5th time and I was reading the part when he was talking to solembum and solembum said he would go to the vault of souls and I was thinking maybe he sees broms soul and he talks to him and he tells him that his mom didn't die
@tombstone312 Actually, you're thinking of stories based on star wars. None of the other released books or stories continuing the story shown in the films are made by George Lucas. So in a way, they did end with the Return of the Jedi movie.
Man he pronounces the names so differently....I don't really like the way their supposed to be pronounced. I pronouce them (roar-en not rooren, and ary-uh [y part is the longer sound like cry])
@alvarez73726 brom would be better... we don't know anything about galbotorix so it would feel strange, and we wouldn't really feel a connection with him... Brom on the other hand.... when he died you put a curse on the Ra'Zac in the ancient language O_o
@t260y like i said, he should make a prequel about the fall of the riders from Brom's perspective :) to be truthful, he could make a whole trilogy of books based off of brom exclusively: him growing up with morzan would be the first book. Second would be the fall of the riders, and third would be him hunting down the foresworn and beginning the varden, ending with him going to carvahal. It would be a great prequel series, and i would enjoy it greatly
@tombstone312 But I hope he take a different appoach than sta wars. THat way, he can get some heat offf of him for putting allot of cliches in there. But he left so much stuff out, that I really want to know. Like how the forsworn and glabatorix destroyed all the other dragons, the banishing of names...but I don't want to know about Vrael getting kicked in the balls by galbatorix
@t260y yea, he has way to much of a star-wars-theme going on, and anyone that denies is blind. anyways, any prequels to the series I would gladly buy, as it is a good series
@tombstone312 I know one thing is for sure: this better not be some stupid, lame, half butt ending where Eragorn is too afraid to take a human life and how he's haunted by the people he killed and can't kill Galby; that would be the most disappoiunted, rediculous ending there could be. And I don't want no lame Harry potter ending either where he kills himself with some stupid spell, I want a duel that lasts a long time and is ultimately decided by whatever
@jl4562a well, he won't die. if you remember, angela said he would live for a long time (over a thousand years) and he would leave alegaesia to never return. also, he is completely set on killing galbatorix, so i don't think he's going to mess that up. chris isn't an idiot, so he's going to make the battle with galbatorix a huge battle.
@tombstone312 Yeah just making sure. For me the probably most disappointing endings of all time was harry potter and star wars. Hate them both now. I hope his writing is different--which I think it will be
@jl4562a lol, the ending to the starwars movies is NOT the end of the story. It is much, much more vibrant and amazing than where the movies left off. there is a point in the story where luke actually becomes a sith lord. Also, there is another point when a new sith lord arises, and no one can stop him, not even luke, or else luke will turn to the dark side. so he has to leave the task to his son to kill the sith lord, yet his son isn't strong enough. jus don't worry, lol
