Oh nvm my 1st post here's an easy way to change background and make the 88:88 sign disappear..

You can change the lockscreen background using ur default background that u choose on settings..

This method works on higher firmware i guess.. But still try it... Maybe it will work on lower firmware too..

Using iFile... Browse

/var/stash/Themes.q8WtSh/Typo phone 4.theme/

Then edit style.css

background-image:url('LockBack­ground.jpg');

Replace LocalBackground.jpg with this :

/private/var/mobi

To fix the 88:88 just change the wallpaper of the lockscreen theme- get iFile (or other apps like it) - browse to /var/stash/themes/typophone 4/ - paste the background picture u like. - locate then edit "stye.css" - replace "LocalBackground" with the name of ur background picture in "background-image:url('LocalBa­ckground')"

Thats it and ur done..

@regfregf iFound a fix for 4.1.2 bt you have to ssh into your device. It fixes the 88:88 flashes and background issue. Go into the theme folder. 1. Open up style.css 2. go to the line that says:

background-image:url('/private­/var/mobile/Library/SpringBoar­d/LockBackground.jpg');

3. Change it to:

background-image:url('LockBack­ground.png'); That fixes Flashing.
