Since this reply is rather late, you've probably already found the answer. Anyway, here it is:
Pa-Kua Zhang (8 Trigrams boxing, also spelled Bagua Zhang) is an internal Wudang style often practiced together with Xing-Yi Quan (Form Intent Boxing, also spelled Hsing-I Quan).
Pi-Gua Zhang (Axe Hitch Boxing) is an external Hebei style often practiced together with Baji Quan (8 Extremes Boxing).
Both rely on circular movement, but are fundamentally different in attack range and strategy.
Since this post is pretty late, you've probably already found the answer. Anyway, to answer your question:
Pa-Kua Zhang (8 trigrams boxing, also spelled Bagua Zhang) is an internal Wudang style, often trained together with Xing-Yi Quan (Form-Intent boxing, also spelled Hsing-I). It is somewhat more close-range in application.
Pi-Gua Zhang (Axe-Hitch boxing) is an external Hebei style often trained together with Baji Quan (8 extremes boxing). It is somewhat more long-range in application.
I like the concept idea but this looks more like slapping and the actual flow of energy keeps getting interrupted by the angled moves. Atleast that is my impression.
Im motivated to have a closer look into that art, can you recommend any masters in Germany or China?
The essence of Zhao feng shou is not getting stuck if the attack is blocked and moving right away to the next attack. As soon as the attack is blocked or deflected it changes and comes from another direction. In the video you can see one attacking while the other is feeding him with blocks, and than they change rolls
Thanks!

So are both of these practitioners using pigua?
Is this how pigua would both attack and defend?
Any more info on the DVD?
