Yes shes screaming = dumb kid didn't listen to the cops and was arrested. She got what she wanted it looks like. Is it the new fad amongst the kiddies to F with the cops like they have the right??? Is this the "revolution" thats been sooooo tweeted about? Grow up kids...
i know the girl in the vid heres here story.....i wish i could post the pic that goes with it
"For just under one hour I walked in solidarity with my friends and other protestors. Then, the march began to separate at Spadina and Richmond. Half of the group seemed to be following the police guided route while the rest attempted to move further down Richmond"
@zeburne123 . It became confusing and crowded. I felt disoriented and claustrophobic and was separated from my friends. People stopped moving as rows of riot police blocked the front of the march.
I stepped up onto the sidewalk to breathe, attempted to locate my friends in the crowd and to get a look at the police activity. I was standing beside several reporters and cameras.
@zeburne123 "behind the main blockade. Frustrated, I tried to make eye contact with the riot police and to ask one if he even knew what the G8/G20 was and if so why he felt compelled to protect their summit. Of course he did not answer. I was disturbed by the fear inspired by their armed, intimidating presence. They were not called there to protect me. They were there to protect the unjust delegates and their institutions that I was protesting. "
@zeburne123 "Then I began talking to a few people beside me. We smelled vinegar and saw that many people were taking out soaked handkerchiefs, used as a precaution to protect against tear gas. I am particularly uneasy about gas as I have asthma and contact lenses. Someone loudly said, “They’re bringing out the gas!” So I turned around and reached into my backpack to get my gas mask. At this point my only concern was putting it on and getting out of there."
@zeburne123 " I did not even consider my close proximity to the riot police on my left. As I began to put my mask on I was abruptly and violently grabbed by number 52. He was a huge man, wearing no name tag. I was picked up and bent face first over a café patio fence. With his knee in between my legs and his shield firmly on my head and back he held me there for over one minute, pinching me between the fence and his shield and body. "
@zeburne123 "At this point I was not very interested in resisting arrest, I was actually not even thinking about the fact that I was being arrested. I was only thinking that I was being attacked by someone and that I needed help. I was very scared and screaming loudly. I heard him yelling back and forth with the other police, arguing or trying to determine what to do. "
@zeburne123 " I recall “Get her out of here!” and some confusion. I think that they were irritated at the media behind us and the people filming the ordeal. Eventually he picked me up and heaved me out of sight, behind the police blockade and around the corner of a building.
It was a brick building and I was roughly pushed against it, despite my inability to resist"
@zeburne123 "which resulted from an incredible size and strength advantage on his part as well as the shock that I was in. He smashed my face into the bricks before putting on zip ties so painfully tight that I later had blisters. I could feel my lip was split open and blood was filling in my mouth. As he and another man coarsely led me to a vehicle I firmly repeated, “Why am I being arrested? Why am I being arrested? You have to tell me why I am being arrested.” He shouted his reply to me "
Look at any video of someone resisting arrest, especially someone who has been briefed on how to resist arrest and you'll see them screaming and yelling, leaning away, turning around, grabbing their hands etc. There's a video of some guy being restrained by LCBO security and her's yelling "I CAN'T BREATH!" at the top of his lungs... irony much?
What happens is that someone will resist arrest and then get hurt and then show off the bruises as "evidence" of police brutality.
There no mystery as to why the cops took her. - terror. This is a terror tactic eployed by a teror/police state. Employed to terrorize her and the rest of the protesters. Meant to chill free speech. To establish state power over not just the protesters but the street. This is the state saying we own you and we own your city. Your democracy was just an illusion.
There's at least one Toronto journalist interested in linking to your video (not me, btw) - but the word 'molested' is stopping her, because while the cop is obviously hurting & frightening the young woman, it's not clear that she's being sexually molested. If you re-titled the clip with another word ('attacked', 'overpowered', 'terrified & hurt'?), you might find it is distributed farther, serving your aim.

It's quite common for people to yell that at cops, even when they brought it on themselves. Often activists will seek to cause a scene. I think this woman was creating a fuss and acting like she was being forcibly bent over the fence and acting like it was against her will. In any case, I don't think it's molestation at all. Cops will put someone up against a car, over a car or whatever is handy in order to cuff and frisk them. In this case it was a fence and it ended up being a bit awkward.
@ThomasMeatball yes you are right, she bent herself over the fence just so she could scream and make a scene. <-sarcasm. By the way, noone could even see what was happening to her because the police like to hide what they are doing to people, which is why I had to film between their legs.
@Sunpeaches78 how would you describe the way she was handled? we aren't the ones that want trouble. but when the global system is destroying all life on earth, stealing money and resources from it's people, and forcefully silencing dissent, you have to be a very selfish, ignorant person not to 'go'.

It's hard to tell whether the cop is forcibly bending her over the fence, or whether she is deliberately leaning over the fence in order to be difficult and screaming hysterically for effect.

that woman was just screaming to get attention. She probably was embarrassed at letting herself get arrested.
