I wonder robin, do you still grow? the last 6 months I'm not growing anymore, as hard as I try. Some say steroids is the only thing that helps you when you've reached ur limits? I don't know, I eat loads of foods and train hardcore lol, but I can't see to get any heavier.

  • Am I right in saying, don't follow specific guides in the gym, just do what you feel works making sure to work every muscle, e.g when you lift up free weight's turn your wrists putting strain on all the muscles used to turn etc strengthening a whole set rather than the basic up / down methood used. Roids & swimming would be imence, you'd put so much strain on your internal organs that way xD

  • I Wanted to know what's best for bodybuilding I hear that 10-16 reps or to failure on heavy weights are the best but after I tried this I don't feel any sore after, all I feel is like I'm doing some intensive work at the time I'm doing it ... Is this normal and is it the best way to get mass? I have been doing sets with in between med and heavy weights

    To failure which is 30 reps then I continue and try to do in sets of 5s until I can't at all after wards you feel the soring and lasts for a wee

    All rep ranges have benefits. I think it's wrong to say a certain rep range is ideal when it's all about intensity, how your body responds and reaping the benefits of all rep ranges.

  • @StrandRobin yes all rep ranges have benefite, but all the benefite are different, there is no point in doing 30 reps and expecting to build muscle from it cause it will rarely happen

  • @CrazyRIQ if you do 10- 16 reps that wouldn't be considered "Heavy" what heaver means is anything you can do to failure about 4-8 reps meaning to cannot do a single rep more that 8th rep should be the last rep you could possibly handle

  • @CrazyRIQ well depends on what you want out of it tbh, 12-16 is pretty much for strength, 6-12 using a solid count like 2 positive 4 negative with the heaviest weight you can do with good form in the rep range will give you the best mass i feel.

  • @CrazyRIQ and dont worry bout weather you get sore or not . not all people's bodies get sore. my upper body stays sore for a maximum of 30 min or so but my lower body stays sore for abotu 2 days

  • @CrazyRIQ 4-10 reps is ideal for mass gain, but you wont gain weight if you dont consume more calories than you burn. i always say if you want to be a monster you have to eat and lift like one!

  • Hey I know your a bodybuilder but I was jw what your lifts are at bench, squat, deadlift etc

  • @ejc310 I rarely max out, but from what the 1RM calculator tells me (by using my 5RM) my max bench is about 265, squat is about 345 and deadlift is about 425.

    Might not be %100 accurate though, but it gives you a good idea.

  • Hi, I think you have a lot of bulking up to do, definition is there but you only look about 10 stone. How heavy are you? Not sure where it is your competing but standards must be pretty low there, If you went into my gym you would stand out for being small, even when taking your age into consideration.
