He's dead? What a shame. I had a short email conversation with him once about this track. He was quite proud of it. It's arguably the most epic and daring pieces on the early London Symphony Classic Rock records - which were in turn in another league compared to today's easy listening...
Man, when I first heard it at the age of about nine I was blown away. Pert made it some kind of Strawinsky sound-alike. Twice as long as the original.
