@Faddool it is possible but i will dissapoint you 3 people tryied to turbo the CVT(even with low boost) but and the 3 broke the CVT transmition... unfortunately it cant hangle the torque....

@Faddool cvt transmission can handle more than 200 torque... the new 1.8Diesel engine 2010 they have now has 300 Nm on the manual and 180Nm on the CVT..

I have a question:

I`ll soon buy a Lancer Sportback 1.8 MT .[ I had one with AT and it did very low mpg and had very little power. i was disappointed.]

The only thing i wanna do to it , i wanna increase the torque because it's very low. I`m don't want to raise hp much (160hp -170 is enough) but i wanna increase the torque from 170 to 250-300Nm.Do you think i can just chip it or something or i must turbocharge it for that ( cuz it's pretty expansive..)

@Silverrr88 put them to the heater for 8 min. take them out and you will open it realy easy... when you put the leds put it to the heater again for 8 min(if its already cold) and reconnect it.. its easy dont be afraid

well , for those who are buying one , i would advice you to buy the 2.0l as it has exactly the same engine as an evo X , the only difference is that its turbocharged for the evo
