  • for being a dodge guy, thats not a bad looking ford! sounds nice to!

  • this sound is incredible..

  • personally id rather squeeze a cat in there but ... oh well

  • cool sounds like on maxium over drive the green goblin

  • what brand of stacks

  • looks good.

  • lol dude i got to say if you would put those stack on a cummins it would be way cooler and sound like a truck not a 351 small block lol hahaha, but cool truck

  • @thefarminkid8760 lol thats cuz u can hear a cumins cummin apart :)

  • hahaha he buddy that made me laugh haha

  • thats sounds sweet

  • 8inch stacks damnn thats way cool!

  • The turbo whistle is the best part.

  • awesome truck

  • what are you talking about banks makes one of the best chips you can buy. Look up the quarter second times for the other tuners then banks

  • For a powerstroke maybe. SCT has gone a long way for ps's as well. As far as top of the line, efi live is the best way to achieve power. It blows any handheld tuner away. Bad part is it is for the dmax only.

  • I realy like the stacks what are they aussie or longhorns> at least the powerstroke sounds the best out of the rice burner dodge and the duramax you hear a cummins wit a automatic trans. they sound like SHIT!!!

  • fuck you i happen i happen to drive an auto cummins, and my truck does not sound like shit thank you very fuckin much

  • what kind of truck u drive?

  • 95 dodge 3500 12 valve cummins dually

  • nice broidk if i want a duramax or cummins the truck is just gonna be for funn

  • well if ur lookin an the new trucks then i would go with cummins but thats just me, but if your going early 90's to early 2000's and you dont have tons of money to spend on new transmisions for a cummins you should go with the duramax because of the alison transmission...its basicly indistructable but i think the cummins motor is the best diesel engine available but if you are buying a new truck dodge has just about duplicated the alison

hope i helped and i hope you pick the right choice

  • lol okay well seeing as im only 16 im not getting nothing brand new rite now lol. so yeah so u say dnt go with cummins b cuz of the expenses ok i got it. THANKS FOR ALL UR HELP!!!!!

  • iI am a chevy man, but dont take this the wrong way. I am not knocking dodge trucks.. I like dodge as well, but chevy is my truck. The new tranny's dodge has on there trucks are still haveing problems.. Not as much as before, but still some..3 co workers have had some work done on em at around 90,000 miles. It is a better tranny, but seems like it has some bugs. As for cummins, I prefer the 12 valve. I have never gotten into the new 24 valves.

  • ya mine is a 95 12 valve...the 24 is for more economic reasons, the 12 valve makes way more power by just cranking up the injector...but i ripped apart the transmission in my truck completly tore it up stripped 1st-3rd gear and reverse its pretty bad...im currently driving a 82 datsun 280zx with a chevy small block in it...barely runs and the motor is out of some old ass chevy truck so it makes about 100hp and i dont have time or money to mod it

as soon as i get the truck fixed im scraping it

  • Dude, that sucks man!! My buddy has a 12 valve cummins/dodge truck, and he put injectors in it, and it getting 750lb of torque out of it.. I fear for his tranny. I know he is going to destroy it.. I may be a chevy man, but I stil cant understand why dodge cant put a good tranny in there trucks. You have a good truck, with an awesome motor in it. Put a damn tranny in it that will last!!

  • i cant afford shit right now...im 16 and my girl runs my dry i think i run about 750-850lb of tourqe...and thats with around 45 lbs of boost...my dad and i built my truck for a year so i would have something to drive and have fun doing it but he used it to haul trailers all over the states so thats where the miles come from, the way i look at it is dodge trucks are perfect other than the trans im about to undo all the upgrades and get a stock tranny from a wrecker or something...i need my tuck

  • Dude, that sucks man. If my dad did that to my truck,I would be irate with him.. My best advice would go with the standard 5 speed tranny that dodge has.. It would be a better route than an automatic tranny. The standard has 5 gear issues, but that is an easy fix. A nut that holds the gears on, or in will work it's self loosa, but you can tack weld it into place and it will stay. I have a few friends that did it on there dodges.. Who doesnt need there truck. I would be lost without my silverado!

  • not to mention i have over 300000 miles on my truck

  • Get a cummins. Allisons aint worth a damn if you go 100hp over stock. Get a cummins and buy a torque converter and if you have the money an ats co pilot for your tranny. You will have far less issues with a cummins motor

  • haha i got people telling me different? whats ur opinion on the cummins?

  • Cummins has the strongest engine internals you can throw a lot of power at it. If you buy an auto and you plan to add power upgrade the torque converter first. Dodge trannys aint shit just the fins in the torque converter. 6.0 and 6.4 powerstrokes suck ass and duramax aint special. Diesels were not engineered to be put into a v8 design

  • alrite cummins it is haha thanxx

  • my '06 powerstroke has less than $2,000 in the engine and it gets right at 400rwhp and 817tq.. Dyno proven.... It's has this power for the last 40,000miles of the truck and now issues what-so-ever except for a blown inter-cooler (MY fault.. self inflicted..) I'll agree that cummins are great engines.... but to say the powerstroke is a "shitty" engine is plain ignorant..

  • It's had this power for the last 40,000miles of the truck and no issues* freakin typos

  • Maybe to you that comment was ignorant but im sure there are plenty of people who agree with me,my uncles company truck is a 6.4 powerjoke and he hates it cause it has no balls. His truck is a cummins and it runs circles around that powerchoke an when the 6.0 came out it was a disaster. Any diesel that has fuel injectors leak so bad it gets into the oil pan and locks up the motor is a shitty engine. The fact that ford recalled every 6.0 and had to buy trucks back from customers speaks for itself

  • this conversation will go no where just as it never does when it's ford vs dodge.. but to say the engine is "trash" b/c of the injector seals is just dumb.. lol... i've had all major3 trucks and LOVE each one.. cummins for the durability, ford for the power and d-max for speed and quietness... the reason ford is my favorite is because thats what i drive at this moment..... but like i said, to say a truck or engine is shitty is ignorant... each truck has its pros and cons..

  • It may be dumb in your opinion but not only were the injector seals bad. The turbos and ecms were bad to and the egr valves are terrible. I do like the jet like whistle of a 6.0 but thats about it for me. I just dont think that an diesel engine is designed to be put into a V8. Thats why cummins has the toughest engines and you dont see a V8 in a semi. Inline diesels are just more reliable in my opinon. Everyone has there opinion and im just stating mine.

  • i was going to say "to everyman his own opinion".. and all those issues you listed were in the early models of the 6.0... anytime you come out with a new engine it's going to have issues.. look at the 24v cummins when it came out.. it had issues with the lift pump, VP44, and the 53 block cracks.. not to mention the front ends were S***.... over the years they have gotten a HELL of a lot better.. just as the 6.0 was getting to be a good engine also, they went to the retarded 6.4l...

  • The 6.4 is retarded but so is the new lmz duramax and the new 6.7 cummins doesnt impress me either. The whole clean diesel thing sucks and the epa is joking itself because the new diesels get terrible mileage. How the hell is burning more diesel fuel "saving our planet"? Glad to see your keeping the 6.0 and not buying a clean diesel.

  • I love my 6.0.. The 6.4 is actually a GREAT engine.. But having the EGR system ruins it.. Just like the new cummins and d-max.. They are all beautiful engines if you remove those "clean" systems... BUT if you dont live in TX like me, you most likely will regret taking it off.. lol

  • A freind of mines dad has a 6.7 and has the dpf delete kick and programer from h&s and the truck is badass.

  • i bet it's sick.. I personally liked smarty for my cummins.... but its the work truck and is a BEAST

  • It hauls ass. I had to drive it 3 days for him with a car hauler in tow with atleast 20,000 lbs and it seemed like nothing was there. Smarty is prett bad ass. You runnin sct on your powerstroke?

  • I love how u say u "had" to drive it. Lol.. And yes I am, SCT with some custom tunes. I LOVE it but I'm afraid I'm about to run into some egr problems because of the SCT. I still have 30000 miles on my warranty so not toooooo worried. Just a little worried. LOL

  • You can get an egr bypass tube and a block off plate from Diesel Tech to solve that problem but of course it aint street legal (but who goves a damn). Im sure it will void your warranty but im sure the sct already does unless it doesnt leave a footprint. Might be a good solution for ya.

  • I've been researching egr deletes for the last few weeks. But my headgaskets are definitely blown so we're about to find out if my sct voided my warranty.. If it did I'm not too worried cause I'm good friends with an ex ford dealership mechanic and we'll just pull the cab and do it ourselves except use performance gaskets and finally drop my arp studs ive had for over a year in. I'll prolly pay him in coors. . Lol

  • Payment in beer is always great. I just bought an 04 cr cummins and one of the first things im ordering is head studs. Much rather be safe than sorry.

  • i'll tell u right now that you'll want those suckers in there.. for sure

  • Im ordering a turbo from ats and ill probably get my injectors from them or industrial and probably run smarty...maybe stack it with an edge comp box so im gettin the head studs for sure.

  • studs need go in #1.. that sounds like a good setup... I would get the injectors from Industrial

  • Expensive injectors but well worth it. Cant decide if i want the aurora 3000 turbo or if i want to get the 4000 with the compound setup they have that goes inline with the stock turbo.

  • that is a hard decision... lol.. if it was me, i'd go with the compound

  • I may go with the compound since im goin to do some sled pullin with it.

  • But then you'd run the risk of cummin's you pants

  • Thats Awesome!!!

  • You're on fucking crack kid. 1000 HP Powerstroke? Maybe Double Overtime and that's only the Powerstroke block. Everything else is custom fabbed AND it has an injection pump (probably a Sigma) NOT NOT NOT Internationals HEUI of HUEI whatever the fuck it is. HPOP injection.

  • You are, SO WHAT IF ITS ALL FABBED, it dosen't matter its still a Powerstroke, even if the injection is different, Stroked Out, another 1,000+ HP truck, idk why I'm even fighting, I love Cummins, but still, screw you...

  • "You are"? Are you 12? Gonna tell your mommy? Dumbass. You don't know shit boy. And stroked out ALSO has an custom fabbed, well, everything. It's a Powerstroke block with another p7100 or Mack style mechanical injection pump. Some see my point some don't. You still don't know shit kid.

  • ok so what you're saying is that b/c they have all fabbed parts that they aren't true powerstrokes, I get what you're saying, I just don't like to loose, and I'm 16, CUMMINS RULE!

  • Banks sucks, 6.0Ls suck, stacks are too big especially for a Ford diesel. Maybe a Cat or a Cummins big cam.

  • Yeah, Cummins are great pwerstrokes don't suck moron, I've seen articels in Diesel Power with 1,000+ hp Powerstrokes, so cool you jets. Those stacks are awesome!

  • only COMPLETELY custom ones retard. You definitely only did SEE the articles and didnt bother READING more than the "1,000hp Super Duty" titles. dumbasses..

  • yeah no shit they're custom!, we never said that they needed to be almost stock/ slightly modded, your an ass..

  • Who are you talking to?

  • I give up, more or less yes they do, to damn expensive to make any hp w/!!

  • so is any diesel,

  • i know someone who owns a cummins and theyve had more problomes stock then my friend who has a bullydog and his stroke, face it diesels are problomatic because of those damn emission controls. but the ford is a better truck,

  • hm, really, I've always heard that Dodge were better, idk whatever

  • 6 litre?

  • sounds good, don't care for banks though.

  • u got a banks chip in it?

  • where did u get the 8 inch stacks at?

  • filthy animal
