@ImpactAmaaaze Did you live through the storm, Or as they called it on Real Radio "Hurricane Bawbag " haha i was out in a big truck all day, We should have been told to go home, But thats DHL for you.
I'm in Los Angeles, CA. And we had a blackout last night because of high 90 mph winds. Everything on our patio blown away. Swiming pool is half empty, and the waves are going up to 20 feet tall.
wow those are sustained hurricane force winds with gusts to likely 100+mph. That's very strong here ! I haven't seen that kind of thunderstorm action here for ages in SC.
In US you have real thunderstorms but last year (Belgium) we had a severe one. A church was destroyed because the high winds. To see this storm at another location: type "Jeumont". But you have to be patient because the first 2 minutes it's not a big deal. But after that it was quite impressif
O.O Wow, that looks exactly like what happened here last summer. I live in Iowa and we suddenly had a regular storm. It grew fast and the winds picked up to at least 80+. Power went out and everything. And the tree in front of our house came down. Well half of it. Part of a branch went one way, while the other went the other way and a small branch hitting my upstairs window. Had to stay in a hotel for a week. 5/5. Awesome yet scary vid ._.
@BrianSkilton Hell yea it was a strong storm you guys could of been killed easily even just by standing in the garage if some debris would of flew by and hit you you would be a goner. But of course if you were in the basement you woudnt of got this awsome footage lol
I used to be a trained weather spotter for the NWS. It looks like a large bow echo with some rotation went over you, which could of meant that a tornado was right over you and you were getting the flank winds from it. Or it could of been a major microburst of straight line winds which are called a dericho. Either way that was an intense storm. I live in Indiana and have never seen anything close to this
nature at it's best!

@TheStormchaser2011
Our weather team confirmed it as a micro-burst, however there were straight line winds also a few miles up.
BrianSkilton 9 months ago
@BrianSkilton Microbursts are straight line winds.
ranger1843 7 months ago
@BrianSkilton if it's above 80 mph wouldn't that make it a tornado? and also this wasn't as bad as greensburg

wow how the... an actual burning leaf with that rain... did you listen for any voices?
WordsofWisdom2010 1 year ago
There are a couple of distinct changes in wind direction and velocity between 0:25 and 0:55 that indicate some broad scale rotation.
You were actually inside a large scale tornado that was below Fujita parameters.
Call it an EF-0+

@BrianSkilton That is a bad ass microbusrt. Lots of lightning. I say winds were around 70 to 80 mph.
