Nicholas II was intransigent and not according to the time when he lived, how can in the 20th century a country could still have a Feudal order? He should have modernised his country, give the peasants a better life and not participating in useless wars that only led Russia to destruction and poverty. Yes he was an incompetent ruler and Monarchy is a useless and obsolete system but he shouldnt had died, he wasnt a bad man in top of all..

Nicholas II came to the throne unprepared as his father died at only 49 years of age. In his coronation oath, he pledged himself to maintain Russia an autocracy. That put him hopelessly out of touch with his time. Had he agreed to modernise and had supported the educated and enlightened elements in his country, his destiny might have been different.

The Tsarist Russia might have been powerful and respected in the beginning, but towards the end it was simply pathetic. These self important, incompetent useless "Leaders" had led led Russia into its end. One disaster at a time, first the war with Japan that had resulted in a pathetic loss by the Russian empire, then WW1. Also the people were starving, SO I DON'T SEE HOW YOU IDIOTS CAN STILL SUPPORT THE TSAR.

Beautiful anthem! I am glad that the present Russian regime has "rehabilitated" Tsar Nikolai Aleksandrovich and his family! Now they have closure and the Tsar and family can rest in peace. What was done to that family was an atrocity by Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov (Lenin) and his gang of cutthroat Bolshevik swine!
