Oh how the mighty have fallen. I love the cheeky hits on metal Sonic~ He survives 16 seconds, you have to feel sorry for him really it is a poor display. Dr Robotnik (or Eggman as they are calling him these days) doesn't fare much better, a mere (Going from just before the first hit at 30 seconds) 25 seconds to defeat! @Jarneaan85 for me it's the opposite. i just bought this game off the wii marketplace. even after all these years, i still remembered a good chunk of silver sonic's paterns. after a few tries i was able to beat him on every single try. but everytime i go to attack robotnik i hit his stupid claws

@magnum567134 Well, he only uses the claws after he tries to land on you and the range of the claws is short. Hit him once and then just run away. I do this every time I fight him and he misses all the time.

I die that way SO MANY TIMES. The only reason I can come up with is it happens when you hit Robotnik a little too early as he's bending down, because that's when it seems to happen to me. I have no idea. Frustrating though.

Nonetheless, excellent job! I've never managed to beat him this fast, I always just wait to hit him after he lands. :P

There are so many different ways to fight this boss. I think he's one of the hardest in all the classic Sonic games. Especially when you're Knuckles. Damn, I hate fighting him as Knuckles.

Well, I have another way to win from this boss (wich is the way I mostly use): Attack it from behind. Of course, you'll have to hit it above the flames. Don't worry about the mini-bombs, if you give enough space you wont be hit.
