HTC HD2 Vs Acer neoTouch - Coreplayer BENCHMARK

Not to mention this test is done with a Neotouch/HD2 (snapdragon)optimised version (v1.3.1). Normally using DirectDraw you get between 152% (v1.2.5) and 138% (v1.3.2) with the standard (retail) versions.

I did a test myself with a divx 624x352 movie and got these nos.

Coreplayer in DirectDraw

V1.2.5: 152%

V1.3.2: 138%

v1.3.1 (acer optimised): 270%

Coreplayer in GDI:

1.3.1 & 1.3.2: 144%

1.2.5: 147%

So on S200 use this snapdragon optimised version in DD-mode for fastest speed.

Well lets see hd2 has a bigger screen has better video quality.. so i really so no point in this faceoff. Not saying the acer isn't better both great phones (think the acer feels cheaply built) but maybe you should get something with a smaller screen to compete lol

Acer is a bit faster because HD2 have to keep HTC sense in the background i guess. :)

Both have the same CPU, so a benchmark shouldn't prove anything else that HD2 is running heavy on other background-processes.

Think this video is with some really slow ROM for the hD2. I just benched mine with stock 1.48 ROM and i get 277.36% with 4.48Mbit/s

Anyone got higher? I would like to know.

Если у тебя встал выбор между WM и iPhone, то бери 3гс, WM нужна гикам которые пользуют доп. софт, коего для винды прорва. А тебе видимо нужна простота и понятность которую яблоко обеспечивает на 100%

Я выбрал 3гс,и дело не в простоте(юзер симбы с первых версий, не нуб вроде), а в удобстве. Вм-это все же еще очень специфичная ос, а я такде люблю и в игры сыграть, этого вм не обеспечит.два плюса хд2-экран и манила, но даже они не перевесят в этом сравнении

Acer is a cheaper variant for those who want a cheap but powerful device. And that hd2 rom is not final. Я смотрю и русичи следят за сабжем)))

Both the devices are extremely fast in rendering videos. Acer is a little bit faster.

The resolution (amount of pixels) is the same, so it shouldn't.
